"Shop for Cuban Cigars in Cabo Cuban cigars, considered the best of the best by tobacco connoisseurs, are technically out of reach for most Americans, thanks to the U.S. embargo of Cuban goods. If you're in Cabo, though, there's nothing preventing you from taking a puff on an authentic Cuban, and if you enjoy a good cigar, the best place to find one here is at this shop."

Google
This place truly has some GREAT Mojitos. They have some AMAZING Cigars too probably one of the best lounges I've been to. I didn't want to leave without trying ALL the Mojitos. After 3, I called it, but I think im coming back to try the others. I highly recommend.

Google
Easily the best cigar lounge in the city. Came in twice for a cigar and whiskey, and a break from everything else going on, while in Cabo. The space is great, TVs work, I think the ventilation wasn’t on the last time so with 3 smokers the space can get smoky. But you will make friends! The Jameson is affordable, but the cigars unfortunately are not - they don’t have $8-12 range cigars (like that other place), for the novice smokers. Cheapest Connecticut was $19 I believe. The whole humidor is full of Cubans, so if that’s your party you will love their choices. Will def come back next visit.

Google
A great stop in Cabo for something different. For starters, they are known for their Mojitos which I HIGHLY recommend you stop by for, you can drink there or take to go. They are large and the best you will ever have. They also have a great selection of cigars if interested and also have a solid selection of good tequilas which you can taste - a great group activity.

Google
I did a ton of homework before my cruise and I just wanted to find legit Cuban cigars. I'm not rich so I can't buy boxes of MonteCristo or Romro Y Julieta cigars. They are super pricey and it's just not for me. But, as a license Cuban cigar retailer, this shop has tons of options at various price points. You can pick up a box of sticks for $150, $250, $750, $1,500 or more. That's the best possible situation for cigar smokers. Variety. If I lived in Cabo (hopefully some day) I'd be here all the time. The VIP lounge in back is super dope and chill. TV's to watch sports, full bar to get your drink on and lots and lots of space to relax.

Google
Best 2 Mojitos I ever had, wanted to go an get a 3rd but ran out of time as we were on a short vacation. Can not wait to go back , the cigar selection is best in class. Make sure you get a mild Cuban.

Google
This was my first visit to Cabo San Lucas, and after researching many cigar lounges/shops in the area, I learned J&J’s is a “La Casa del Habano” franchise for the Los Cabos area, which is the official Cuban Cigars retail and wholesale license that Habanos S.A. grants to their own official stores around the world. This boosted my confidence that I would get the real deal for the price i would pay. I visited J&J's and smoked a lovely Cohiba Siglo III. I love the atmosphere, the drinks, and the cigars at J&Js! Going back there one more time before before I depart Cabo.

Google
Great service. As a bourbon guy, this is the only place to have decent bourbon. Michters 10yr bourbon and rye on the shelf. VERY knowledgeable on tequila and cigars. Awesome humidor filled with a variety of branded cigars. Not the cheapest - but service was awesome!!

Whitney Bradshaw

Google
I want to go back to Cabo just for this place. Roxy and Jimmy were very knowledgeable about the tequila and Mezcal they offered and were so much fun to talk to! Hubs and I had a Cuban in their smoke lounge with some Mezcal and it was a very enjoyable experience. Mojitos are quite tasty as well!

Yelp
Fantastic mojitos and reliably authentic cigars make this an IYKYK spot. Juan Carlos has been there as long as we've been coming, which is back to the old Hemmingway's Lounge days. Stop in, say hi, make new friends (on both sides of the bar!) and it will be the place you want to tell your friends about when you get back home.

Yelp
J&J is an authorized distributor of Cuban cigars, and they have a nice selection of cigars. They have Cubans, as well as cigars from other Latin American countries. The first thing you will notice is how expensive the Cuban cigars are. Allow me to provide the US peeps with a brief story. US cigar smokers like Cuban cigars, and it's probably more about being told we cannot have them than the cigars. In Asia, specifically China, they are madly obsessed with Cuban cigars, and they will order boxes without concern for the cost. The Chinese cigar smokers have changed the market forever, and it is only going to continue to inflate the prices. So, as much as some of y'all want to complain that J&J is ripping you off, they are not. This is a very desirable product for rich peeps, and that means the middle-class folk are completely out of the picture now. With that out of the way, on to the experience. This was my second visit to Los Cabos, and I knew I wanted to stop by here. I saved up for a box of Cubans, but I just couldn't pull the trigger. I like some Cuban cigars, but overall, they are not as strong as what I prefer, the flavors are basic and the overall experience is not worth the cash. So I bought a single petite Corona R & J to enjoy. We sat in the lounge, enjoyed our time together, had a really expensive, not so strong drink, and off we went.

Yelp
We enjoyed our experience here so much that we ended up going three times during our stay in Cabo. My husband loved smoking cigars, especially with their excellent selection. As for me, I couldn't get enough of their cocktails--especially the Mojito, which was hands down one of the best I've ever had.

Yelp
Top-notch drinks, an awesome selection of cigars and great service. What else could you want?

Yelp
Just arrived to town today and this was the best way to settle into Cabo and relax! Seriously found my happy place. The sign outside says "Best Mojito On The Planet " and it just may be that! Absolutely awesome ! The main attraction of this place the cigar selection was excellent with some guys that will happily answer questions about the different brands and types of flavors to expect. Five 's . Juan Carlos thanks my friend !

Yelp
Greeted from the second we walked in very friendly and kind. The indoor lounge with AC was nice as well we have been walking for a while. The mojitos were so refreshing with a nice hint of the flavor in the drinks not sickening sweet with sugar. Great place for a great drink and tons of cigar options. Very friendly staff ,relaxed unrushed environment.
google avatar

Mickie J.

Yelp
Super friendly staff with outstanding cigar knowledge and recommendations. First Cuban cigar in Cabo San Lucas complete with cappuccino and finished with deliciously refreshing Mojito.

Yelp
Nothing much to say, amazing selection, good drinks, and knowledgeable staff for people who don't have a clue like me. Spent a pretty penny, personal favorite was upmann, can't go wrong

Yelp
STAY AWAY!!! STAY AWAY!!! STAY AWAY!!! Absolute rip off!! Fortunately, I was smart enough not to purchase a ridiculously over priced cigar... but not before ordering two Old Fashioned cocktails at $30 U.S. dollars each!! $60 for 2 cocktails!! Never in my lifetime have I paid this much for a cocktail. Not in Manhattan. Not in Las Vegas. Not in Los Angeles... and please understand, this was not a top shelf Old Fashioned. Middle of the shelf bourbon, regular well ice and a bright red cherry similar to the ones you enjoyed as a child with your Shirley Temple. One thing is clear and obvious, this establishment targets unsuspecting tourists. Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY and go get a cheap drink at Happy Endings around the corner... You'll be happy your did.

Yelp
This place is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. My wife and I walked by and she had to have one of their Mojitos which are advertised as the best in the world. They are pretty damn good. I'm not some sort of "Mojito Master," but I can tell when one is made right and this one is not some pre-made pile of crap like a lot of bars have. It's legit.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
So we went here and talked tequila with the bar tender. Had a few tequilas and Pacifico's . We then migrated to the big daddy mojito...awesome for $11 and a killer Strawberry Daiquiri! Would definitely reccomend
google avatar

Justin P.

Yelp
If you're looking for Cuban cigars in Cabo... This needs to be your first and only stop. It's a Casa Del Habano franchise which means all the stuff you see is REAL. They also have a fully stocked bar and nice lil lounge in the back to enjoy your cigars. One more thing: the service is top notch; the gents were there were very accommodating the entire time my group was there Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
First time we visited this place. During this visit we visiting here three times. Very clean establish. They a bathroom and WiFi. Nice staff helpful in selecting a cigar, always hesitate to pick up cigars from a non-cigar shop. The staff was also very forward about conversion rate. They advertise the worlds greatest Mojito. It is pretty unique, the mojito doesn't have simple syrup, but has fresh ginger and mint. Very good flavor. Also ordered the flavored daiquiri (I believe strawberry) which was very tasty. Can't remember the story behind this place, but is has been around for years. Had a name change and has switched location previously.
google avatar

Brechen Z.

Yelp
House mojito is great- lots of fresh ginger and mint. Great Cuban cigar selection. Because of regulations you will be charged for a slice of pizza - but worth it.
google avatar

Alma M.

Yelp
Mojitos were amazing $10. Due to covid restrictions you will need to order a slice of pizza. J & J's has a large variety of cigars you can't go wrong. Very helpful on deciding which cigar your looking for. In the locked room they only allow 2 people inside.
google avatar

Yelp
We are so glad this shop is still up and running during this crisis we're having. They are taking all precautions that are necessary, by far better than we are in the states. Over the years thats ive been visiting cabo this place never disappoints! Juan Carlos and Roxanna give superb service! 10 outta 10 recommend coming here for your cigar needs and magical mojitos!
google avatar

J A.

Yelp
My first time visiting this cigar/mojito bar lounge. There's lots of good quality of habano cigars to Havana Rum and tequila.. loved the environment and lounge area.. very cool and peaceful.. A must place to visit for some sticks and a mojito..
google avatar

Lalo R.

Yelp
Great Mojitos!!! If your in town and need a refreshing drink def stop by and order the Papa mojito!! If u want to up this drink ask for the 7 year Havana and add an extra shot!! Def kicks it up a notch!! Lots of good cigars and def legit.... def couple of exclusives here.. Too bad you can't smoke inside anymore cuz of the city Ordinance but still able to enjoy a nice smoke and mojito on the outside chairs... just wish they had fan of some Sort for those days when the breeze is non existent!!

John B.

Yelp
Been coming here for years, like 20+. They claim the best mojito in the World? Well, if not the world how about ALL of Cabo, Baja California and Cali for sure. The cigars are authentic, in perfect shape and of course NOT Cheap because they are the real deal. The perfect way to end the day or start the night! Hola to mi hombre Juan Carlos.

Yelp
J&J is such an awesome place, one where we always return whenever we are in Cabo San Lucas. If you are a cigar smoker, this is definitely worth your time. Their walk-in humidifier has lots of options at reasonable prices including very high quality Cuban cigars. The gigantic mojitos are just as good as they say, but watch out for the "tourist surprise." Be sure to ask the price before you commit to ordering since no bar prices are posted. I've never had the rip-off vibe from this place but it's always better to protect yourself by asking first. My husband loves the cigars and drinks here and I stop in for the coffee! They serve delicious Illy espresso and it's good and strong. Note that patrons are allowed to smoke cigars inside so it can get really smoky. Limited indoor seating but they have air conditioning which is a true luxury during the more humid and sweltering days in Cabo.

Brent T.

Yelp
Fantastic mojitos Great time with the bartender look forward to visiting again. Every time we're in Cabo we go there

Peter J.

Yelp
Only trustworthy place to buy Cubans. Pricey but authentic. Classy interior and tequila bar. Lot of pride in the homemade mojitos. Great takeaway drink.
google avatar

Wilson L.

Yelp
An amazing bar with great mojitos! Also an amazing tobacco and tequila store. Definitely a must try spot, the staff are super nice too. Definitely will be back again.
google avatar

Elkus H.

Yelp
Looks bigger in the picture then it really is, small selection. Manly they're own wrapped cigars. Cohiba, Romeo and Juliette. And a few local Mexican tobacco. Service was great they had a few Spirits on the wall mostly Taquila of course but if your looking to grab a free sticks because you forgot to pack yours not a bad place to get a few. FYI they are VERY pricey so next time bring them from home.
google avatar

Crystal S.

Yelp
Good cigar selection and yes, best mojito on the planet. I've had mojitos in Cuba and these are better. So refreshing!
google avatar

Ota M.

Yelp
Had a horrible experience with Manolo who was very aggressive and sounded like he was making up rules to use smoking room whe I was just there the day before with a couple that I raved about this place to. Well they lost their business and I may be back but not if the clown Manolo is there I have never had an issue at this place let alone in all of cabo. I went to the places that are my favorite to support in this time when a lot of business's are going under and to be treated like that is very disappointing.... smh
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
First time I came here had a mojito and a Cuban cigar and I was hooked. I came back a year later and the quality hasn't changed a bit. The place serves up one of the best mojitos in Cabo or the U.S. for that matter! They use Havana rum which makes a huge difference. The ration of rum, mint, sugar, club soda make these beauties easy to down and you can get a nice buzz going if you have a cigar to go along with your frosty beverage. The owner used to own Hemmingway's but reopened J&J at their current location. They have a walk in humidor where you can choose your perfect cigar. Yes, they have authentic Cubans. If you're in the mood for tequila, they sell tequila and they will allow you to sample some. You can sit and lounge on one of their leather seats or sit on the bench outside. Note: if you want to grab a bottle of Havana Rum or even a bottle of tequila, you can save a few bucks at the Duty Free at the airport. I will definitely be back to J&J for sure!!
google avatar

Ina B.

Yelp
Great cigar selection, sad you can't smoke inside due to regulations. Great variety of tequilas
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
BEST MOJITO, EVER. Run, do not walk and order the classic mojito here. Small shop but great to take the guys and let them get a cigar while the gals sip on the world's best mojito. Highly recommend.
google avatar

PJ L.

Yelp
Awesome cigar shop with great prices on authentic Cuban cigars with a great selection from Montecristo No. 2 to Romeo Julieta Short Churchills. They even have Cohiba Behike cigars. Best place to get cigars in all of Los Cabos.
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
Way overpriced. 99% of their inventory was well above $30. Settled on cheap $9 and $11 Mexican maduros
google avatar

Bill H.

Yelp
Cool little cigar spot, good selection of Habanos. Jumbo drinks. Service was not as friendly as one would expect for a place selling what amounts to a high end product. They were pleasant, just not chatty. Cigar prices in Mexico are as bad as Cali (actually higher). No bargains to be found.
google avatar

Jon W.

Yelp
Very friendly and helpful staff as well as great selection of cigars. We checked in on Facebook while we were there and the bartender gave us free tequila shots for it. Just a really fun place to hang out and enjoy fantastic mojitos.
google avatar

Susan R.

Yelp
My husband and I went here to get Cigars. The cigars are real Cubans. The staff is knowledgable and nice. This establishment is all class. Love their logo on the T- shirts and hats. The aroma of the espresso and cigars is a perfect blend of fragrance ! Relaxing place with a purpose
google avatar

Jesse R.

Yelp
Second time this week, had to have my mojito and cigar... best place in cabo for mojito and cigars .... a must stop when visiting .
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
100-130% duty or taxes on imported tobacco in Mexico, that and a heavy mark up from the owner make the prices insane if you've ever bought Cuban Cigars abroad. 72/75 storage is absolutely insane as well, I'm surprised they don't have beetles everywhere. 199peso mojitos are extremely pricey but the quality is at least there. Also the prices are only listed in USD and they give a terrible exchange rate on said Dollars. The store is in Mexico and I brought pesos... The fact is, the Owner is the sole importer of Cuban cigars to Mexico, any place in any tourist town that has authentic cigars gets them from him. That should tell you something in and of itself. I enjoyed sitting and smoking but that's it.
google avatar

Vince R.

Yelp
Wonderful LCDH Cuban cigar shop. We have been coming here since it was Hemingways. Genuine Habanos and nice selection of tequilas too.
google avatar

Prince M.

Yelp
Great drinks, great service, and impressive selection of Cubans. I'm a huge mojito fan, and these are the best in the city!

Yelp
From a former loyal customer. To be fair, this review is regarding their CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been going to J&J's since back when Hemingway's was open and have sent them many customers but no more. I visited them three times during the first week of July and all three times were the same. I was treated as if it was a nuisance for them to sell me a cigar (mind you I knew exactly which cigar I wanted when I went in). On my third I did the usual, wait for a clerk to unlock the humidor, be escorted into the humidor, was told touching cigars was not acceptable yet again, I selected my cigar and went to the counter. I was asked if I wanted to pay in US or Peso's and I said US and gave her a hundred dollar bill for a $35 cigar. The woman huffed and puffed and I will have to give you change in Peso (in a rude manner). I stated that it was OK especially since I know they never give you change in US. She then smartly says, "What do you want to do, take all of my change?" I looked at her, put my cigar back on the counter and walked out. There are just too many other places that sell good cigars and much more enjoyable places to smoke them. What a shame, my wife and I have always gone here and the staff has always been so nice and friendly. We always recommended them to friends and fellow vacationers but no more. At first I thought the two women behind the counter were just having a bad day but after three visits I just had enough. Their prices are not high as others have stated, they sell their cigars at about the same price as other legitimate cigar stores. Mexico apparently has a high tariff on imported cigars, thus the higher price for cigars throughout Mexico. J&J also has a good selection of cigars and also a decent selection of Tequila. I do hope that J&J can bring back the friendly service and atmosphere it once had but sad to say, after being an 11 year customer I am not going elsewhere.

Brad P.

Yelp
Awesome lounge with a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff was helpful in selecting cigars! There have a full walk-in humidor with a wide selection and prices were good. To top off the visit I had a mojito. It was with out a doubt the best one I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend stopping in, and I will be back.
google avatar

Desirae B.

Yelp
Not to be missed if you love cigars or need to grab a gift for a cigar lover. Laid back atmosphere with authentic cuban cigars and great cuba libre's and mojito's. Cigar prices are HIGH....but at least you know they're real.
google avatar

Sol D.

Yelp
Overpriced cigars. Go to Cigar Outlet for better deals, only 5 minutes outside of main strip on right hand side.

Brad G.

Yelp
My wife and I were down in Cabo for the weekend, and walked over here. Great place, with a fantastic selection, but be prepared for the prices, they are VERY HIGH !! I bought a few cigars and we were on our way. Don't buy the fakes the guys sell on the street.

Michelle S.

Yelp
Yes, they have good cigars. If you are looking for legit cigars in Cabo, then this is as good as it gets. My review is for their mojitos. While they tasted pretty damn good, I had quite the surprise in the bathroom. I walked in their bathroom (which is probably the size of my big toe) and saw that they were washing the Mojito glasses NEXT TO THE TOILET in the bathroom sink. UGH. Like 6 inches from the toilet...the glasses were stacked up and drying on the sink. Needless to say, I've been sick for going on 11 days. I'm not saying it's from J&J, but I defin. wouldn't drink the mojitos and/or the ice.
google avatar

Drew B.

Yelp
This is a real hidden gem in San Jose. The owner and the staff are very friendly and the cigars are excellent at a reasonable price. We been coming to San Jose for 15 years and know what we like.

Elias A.

Yelp
They have a good selection of Cubans. Now I know there is a lot of fakes and can never really know for sure, but they don't let you touch any of the cigars until you pretty much paid for them. And all sales are final so if you find something wrong with them it's too late. Prices are crazy high but to be expected I guess, but not sure the quality is good. I did see some insects coming out of a box of cigars, they might have a beetle infestation which mean the cigars are not in the proper environment but of course they don't let you touch any cigars until you purchase them.
