Excellent burgers and fries! The Double Dropzone Burger was amazing! Super fresh beef, hand-formed patties. Plenty of fries to share in a large and prices aren't bad considering you're on an island. Highly recommend when visiting Wrangell!

Today got a classic cheeseburger. Evry item on the menu is delicious. We love the food here. This is a family owned buisness and you can see rhe love and dedication they have for this community. Wrangell, you are lucky yo have the Youngs in town. Keep it up, you are awesome!!

This place way over performed from what I expected. Burger was excellent, fries great, and the real highlight was actually the lemonade. Great food

Best burgers 🍔 in the middle of downtown. You can select from a small menu and can't go wrong. Made to order. Friendly staff. Don't miss it. Only wish they served onion rings on the side.

Josh Young is a great owner and chef who aspires to make the best tasting burger around, and has succeeded. Given the limitations of a small town he has really done amazing things! I wouldn’t be surprised if he started his own chain matching in-n-out level quality.

Definitely recommend the hamburger and fries. We showed up around five minutes before closing time, and they still took our order. A must try hamburger!!

Ordered a burger, southern double, and it was made quick and tasted great. Both employees were friendly and naturally knew all the locals. The place was on par with what one would expect in this small town, and I look forward to eating there again.

Probably the best burger I’ve ever eaten! The waterfront park with picnic tables next to the museum makes for a nice spot to take your burger to picnic too!

Very enjoyable local fast food stand in the heart of downtown Wrangell. Everything is cooked to order so expect to wait 10 min or so for your food. Burgers were juicy and tasty, so were the chicken wraps. It was a bit of a bummer to not get any of their fish products (they were out). Fries came with both fries and tots.

A mighty tasty mushroom swiss burger. A local guy went on and on about how good everything is and I could taste why. Hot and juicy. Just the way I like 'em!

Stop in here on a nice sunny morning to see what was available for breakfast, because they are one of two places that do breakfast. I went with the Breakfast Burrito which was so good. I got full and enjoyed the spice from the hot sauce, also the Lemonade was pretty good. I got my food pretty quick too

J&W is one of the few eating places in downtown Wrangell. They have a good variety of fast food like burgers and fried foods. Just wanting a snack we ordered fried shrimp and a large soda. The shrimp was tasty but the problem is there wasn't much of it. Wife counted 7 pieces and only one was a whole shrimp. The rest were just pieces. The fries were shoestring and just ok. The soda poured from a can into a cup for $2.75. We're used to high food prices in Alaska but $15 for a few shrimp and a canned soda? No thanks.

OK, sure. It is all frozen stuff that they whip up once you order it. The fries are good, I'll give them that.

I wasn't expecting much when I first saw this place but I was pleasantly surprised. They have a great cheeseburger, made to order. That's no pre-made frozen patty. The fries are nothing special. Good service.

I must say for a small town fast food burger joint it was by far one of the best Cheeseburgers I have had in some time, Simple menu done well !! We will be back

We love J&W's such a huge variety of food. From local fish tacos to burgers and wraps. The prices are pretty good and the food is great. Also the service is always awesome. Highly recommended

I had great local shrimp and the husband had a halibut basket. Some local seafood and burgers is about all they offer but it is fun to sit out and watch the cruise ship people. They also had good looking milkshakes but we opted for iced tea.

Quick place to get a cheap snack. The ladies were nice. Pretty cool to be sittin next door at the Totem having a beer while they are making ur food and they can usually bring it right over or call you when its ready! Convenient.
