Jang Sripoom House

Worst experience that I ever had… DISGUSTING!! The photos don’t have anything to do with the reality! Please please check the images that I attached. I couldn’t stay there, it’s literally unsanitary!! Mouldy smell, stains everywhere, unwashed stained bed sheets!! Why would I for something like this?? I asked for a refund as I left straight away but property refused to give me the money back!!

Worst property I’ve ever seen. We had to leave, it’s impossible to stay there. It was smelling bad, the air conditioner was not working and there were stains ever including on the bad sheets!! If you don’t trust me then have a look at these pictures :)

I'm rating this 5 stars because the staff were so accommodating. They got everything we asked for. They had a set up for renting mopeds that were brought to the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. Unfortunately the beds were just so uncomfortable. If you don't care where you sleep and want to be super close to the market, this place is amazing. It's walking distance within Old city and the markets.

Although the location was perfect, the hotel was not. The beds were so hard to sleep on. The house is simple and fits well with Thailand but wouldn’t take much to make it a way better experience. They tried to accommodate our needs and was helpful when we asked. Someone was always there to help. Great sushi restaurant downstairs.

This was the worst hotel we stayed in on our trip to Thailand. We arrived, there wasn't any towels in the room and hadn't been properly cleaned. The staff giggled at us every time we came in and most of them sat around on their phones all the time. ||||There was no friendliness or atmpsphere and we were the only ones staying along with another older couple. The breakfast was some stale bits left out on the side - never seemed to be cleaned and the restaurant wasn't ever open. ||||Definitely would not stay here again - banlaansa across the road is so much better and the food there is PHENOMENAL.

Sripoom Boutique House is very comfortably and clean, in a great location just outside the old city square. We stayed here for the Festival of the Lights and the location was excellent - only 1.7km walk away from the Nawarat Bridge on the Ping River. Daily housekeeping, laundry facilities for 50 baht/kilo of washing... Washing service was a little slow - it took 24 hours but that was only an issue because we had no clean clothes left (long term travellers). Safe and had nil issues leaving valuables in room while out for the day (though we did keep our bagged sections with passports locked up just incase, but honestly don't think there would be an issue).

Convenient location to tour Chiang Mai. The room smelt very damp, and the air conditioning unit has mold in it. But otherwise not terrible. Staff was very helpful, and the location was too good for us to have the other issues bother us too much.

It os the second time we are staying at this hotel and we are so pleaced.|The rooms are clean and they have everything you need (toiletries, AC, balcony, TV, wi-fi in room).|It is near to the Old City and we like it very much.|The owners are so kind and friendly and they have 3 beautiful cats ❤😁
