장안된장 JangAn Restaurant

Stumbled upon this tiny restaurant in Ktown and decided to give it a try. Just a few tables, but the service was wonderful as was the food. I ordered the lunch special of Deep Fried Sole. It was crispy and delicious. Loved their broth and radish kimchee as well.

Really good staff and customer service. Food was just the perfect balance of flavors. 5 stars in my book

I am not very familiar with Korean food, it was pretty good. A good option for a full meal. Also big serving size, no need to worry about getting full.

The spicy pork combo during lunch is the best deal you can get in ktown and it comes with lettuce on the side which most places don’t. The mackerel fish is amazing as well, perfectly fried. Definitely a place to come back and you’ll always leave here with a full stomach but not over stuffed which is the way to go.

The restaurant is kept extremely tidy and well organized. We ordered the spicy pork bulgogi and bean paste soup which were both made perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant.

Never use this restaurant! I've asked for delivery and the delivered food was different than what I have ordered. When I've called the restaurant, they've never apologized and asked me back what'd I want to do. So I've asked for a redelivery and when I've finally got the new food, they told me that I might have ordered wrongly. Which is NOT true because my friend was with me when I've made order and he told me that I didn't make any mistake when I was making an order. Workers there were overall rude and the food also tasted very artificial. I'm Korean and I knew right away that the food taste was artificial. 자기들이 주문을 잘못 받아놓고 그럴리가 없다는 둥 손님이 잘못 말한거 아니냐는 둥 계속해서 손님 탓을 함. 이런 음식점은 처음 봄. 음식도 그냥 흔한 조미료 들어간 맛임.

Here’s the best korean food restaurent in LA especially Korean town. You should try the Kimchi soup with tofu and BBQ beef with lettuce at the same time cuz I could say only wow when I tried to eat those food.
