Janor Guest House

I spent a week at Janor for work in Fort Simpson. I was very pleasantly surprised with the service, the safety, the comfort and the breakfast. This was definitely a great place to call home away from home. Colin, Leah and Grace were all so helpful and kind to me, I can’t speak highly enough of them.

What a great experience. There is not a lot of choice around Fort Simpson for places to stay. I was not expecting much on my arrival but I was really pleased to meet Colin his home was very clean fully stocked and the fridge was even stocked for a nice continental Breakfast. (He even ground up my coffee beans the night before 🤤). The bed room was large with a desk to do some work and a queen size bed that was very comfortable. It was like being in my own home away. Thanks for the great stay and recommend to anyone visiting.

Bright, clean, quiet, well organized, well maintained, social rooms, all the cozy comforts of home. Air co was generous. Breakfast fridge contained eggs, yogurt, fruit, bread, spreads. This was a happy surprise. Great value. Short walk to grocery and downtown shops and cultural buildings. I used the bbq to cook supper and ate it on the picnic table in the back yard.

Wonderful place to stay at Fort Simpson! Leah & Colin were very welcoming & helpful. The room was very clean & comfortable - microwave, small fridge, wi-fi (excellent, fast)|Direct TV.... Leah & Annette answered my questions about eating out in Fort Simpson (bring some snacks/food with you). A clean nice kitchen is available for guests to use, plus breakfast foods are provided by Leah & Colin. We give them five stars out of five stars*****|We stayed there two nights before a 12 day Nahanni River raft trip & one night after coming off the river.

I had an amazing experience at the Willows Inn. Leah and Collin are such wonderful and welcoming hosts. My colleague and I were booked to share a suite, but due to some changes Colin informed us we could have separate rooms (which was preferred!). The room was clean, comfortable, and access to wifi and cable and coffee was great! On top of everything else, Leah made delicious cinnamon buns (thank you)! If you are planning a trip to Fort Simpson then consider the Willows Inn, you won't regret it.||||Thank you Leah and Collin for a wonderful stay!

This lovely place is 2 duplexes joined in the middle and has 2 living rooms and 1 well stocked kitchen.It was like being a guest in a private home, it was welcoming and had a good vibe. The fridge was well stocked so you could eat when it suited you. Eggs,jams,juice,cereals, and a bonus...one was welcome to go to the garden and harvest any vegetables. Clean up a breeze with the dishwasher . In the evening one could access the grocery store 1 block away and return and use the BBQ to make a meal. it was clean and quiet. Their ph # 867-695-2077. Recommended.

I would stay again for sure. I arrived in the evening. You park in front of the house and walk along the left side to the main entrance. Very simple self check in. Bedroom is very quaint and cozy. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Free WiFi available. Leah is very welcoming and very helpful. Simple continental breakfast is included. A shared full kitchen, dinning room and TV area is included. Self serve laundry in basement. Treadmill and stationary bike in basement. Outside BBQ available.

The Janor is the perfect place to stay when visiting Fort Simpson. We were a group of 5 working in the community for 5 days. The Janor was home away from home, a relaxing accommodation to return to in the evenings. Clean, clean. Comfortable beds with quality bedding. Well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Big screen TV, good selection of channels. Wifi. Friendly staff and quick response to questions. Good location. Thank you Leah and Annette. Will stay here again.
