Besides shopping, there are also great food options available nearby. My recommendations in Janpath are Gokulam and Cafe Amudham. At Gokulam, you can try the Bangalore dosa if you like spicy dosas, and the filter coffee if you love strong coffee. At Cafe Amudham, you can try podi thatte idli, gajar ka halwa, garlic button idli, garlic dosa, vada, and capsicum idli. I absolutely love these two places for South Indian food.

It's a great street shopping experience, but remember you have to have some great bargaining skills to actually get good deals over here otherwise the online shopping might feel cheaper after visiting this place. We visited this market at the start of January around 8PM and soon they started closing the shops so i recommend going there a bit earlier for a complete experience. Shopkeepers are of mixed types, some are really well behaved, others are just arrogant and few are really rude. Keep your belongings close because it gets really crowded over here. Overall a must visit place to experience atleast once.
