Had a great experience at Japan City Top Ryde. This place is underrated. The food is tasty, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. The kids meal at just $6.90 is fantastic value. I also tried the tempura vegetable curry set for $17.90, which came with miso soup and six pieces of tempura. It was very filling and well presented. The matcha and hojicha floats were a highlight too. They were a good size and only $7.50 each. Everything felt satisfying without being overpriced. We will definitely be coming back again.

I always come here. This is the favourite place for our family. I like their lunch special. I wish they open hours is more variety

Great store and restaurant. Very busy inside on weekends and gets noisy. Had a line when we came. Store has some lovely gifts like tea cups, decorative things, and ornate bowls.

He was extremely hot and cute was extremely long. Even though the some of the food was okay. They wait to get my Bento beef was over 40 minutes and there weren't much beef, mainly just rice and udon noodle. I do appreciate that the raw fish combination dish contains a lot of meat and that was well priced. Given the speed, the temperature, the atmosphere and the food quality, I can only give it three stars unfortunately

The donburi rice was a solid block with too little sauce which makes it flavourless. Also the spoon was totally flat and useless. AC is weak as one AC was switched off on a 30+ degree summer day

This was the most beautiful and relaxing diner in the area. It was so calming and beautiful, each piece of decoration complementing one another. The food was bursting with flavour, although the rice was a bit dry the other foods saved the day. They say that you don’t only eat Japanese food with your mouth, but also your eyes too, well, the dishes were elegantly arranged and so well cooked. We took a walk around the store for a while, I absolutely couldn’t take my eyes off of every piece of art.

We had the teriyaki chicken. The chicken was very dry and tasted similar to leftover food.
