What an amazing place! Beautiful, gorgeous handicrafts arranged by prefecture. Lovely staff takes great care of the items and the purchasing process. I will come here again next time I'm in Japan!

Lovely market showcasing lots of unique artisan pieces from across Japan. Prices start at a couple thousand yen and can reach (far) beyond. A great place for a thoughtful gift or piece of home decor. Lots of drinkware as well as attire/accessories such as fans, bags, and scarves.

This store is amazing. So many different local craft items to choose from in all shapes, sizes, and price ranges. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you take your passport with you, the staff helps get you a break on taxes too.

Great selection of crafts from many prefectures. The staff are helpful and friendly. The variety of goods is very impressive and it's also very educational to read about the crafts and traditions of each area

Google
Showcases numerous traditional Japanese crafts and products. Hosts interesting events too and the staff is very friendly, helpful and provides context/background. There are quite a few staff members who speak english and even those who don't are keen on helping you and may speak in easy Japanese. For me a great experience.

I literally have to control myself, every time I go to this shop. I REALLY appreciate quality and craftmanship, and EVERYTHING in this shop is so utterly beautiful. I slowly peruse the entire store, 'oohing' and 'ahhing' over everything, taking mental notes of 'ok, maybe I'll get that...maybe I'll buy this....' and then telling myself that I can't buy everything that I like there (if only because I prefer to live a somewhat minimalist lifestyle). In the end, I typically allow myself to be ONE thing at this shop, and I try to make sure it's something that I can truly use...that I WILL use, etc. Anyway, if you are looking for a gift from Japan, to bring back home to someone, this is the place. Oh sure, there are plenty of other places in Tokyo that sell souvenirs, but at this Traditional Crafts Store, everything is the real deal...top of the line...

Visited this place to find the traditional wooden boxes and ceramics, the staff was really kind and helped me package my products safely and neatly. Special thanks to the 2 ladies at the counter ones name was Oya. Really appreciate your help !

Beautiful collection of traditional hand made arts created by true crafts people. Range of pricing from low (but not cheap as in poor quality) to high but worth it considering the quality.
