A great collection of a wide variety of types of mostly functional artwork (ceramics, textiles, metalwork, woodworking, lacquerware, bags, etc.), and some brushes, from across Japan. There are some live demos, videos, and a lot of educational signage. If you're an artist or art-lover, this is a top-tier visit as the shop is very large and diverse.
Much of the work for sale is high quality and therefore the prices can get really high as well, but there are a number of items in the low-to-mid-range too. I bought three pieces of beautiful marquetry which were in the mid-range cost bracket. They packaged them beautifully, with instructional text on cards, for the people I am giving them to.
There are restrooms available as well as vending machines.
