Lovely little Japanese zen garden inside the Polytechnic College. Free to enter as it's part of the campus, also right next to their rose garden! A nice way to kill 30-60 minutes. I reccomend parking in the shuttle lot, Lot F. We didn't have issues with parking but we did go during their winter break.

Beautiful small garden at Cal Poly Pomona. Kept very clean and accessible to the public.

Amazing Japanese Koi Garden. If you are at a graduation here, you have to check this place out. You see turtles, koi and cool plants.

Google
Awesome tiny Japanese garden with plenty of cool places to check out koi fish. Located right in the middle of campus this is a small garden that may take 10 mins tops to see everything. There are rare trees located around the garden with 2 bridges attaching the different ponds. Parking is about a 5 min walk

Beautiful setting! Nice pond, trees, so unexpected in the middle of Cal Poly Pomona! The only downside is you must stay on the path; but recommended, nonetheless.

Google
It's really small but my visit was nice and quiet and 3stars is only cause it small and parking is a challenge if you don't know where you're going and I couldn't tell you how to go where I ended up to Park sorry

Yelp
Beautiful garden, but parking was an issue. There wasn't a parking lot for non-students or visitors. Reviewers mentioned parking in lot C. However there are so many large signs that said students only. No where to pay for such parking either. Very misleading and disappointing. I parked in a 30 minute zone far away and had to run over to this garden. It's very small & beautiful, but it's really only for students sadly.

Yelp
You don't have to drive all the way to Pasadena for a Japanese Garden. Cal Poly Pomona has its own Japanese garden right on campus. It's around the same size as Cal State Long Beach's Japanese garden at 1.3 acres but unlike that one which is located on a far obscure corner of campus this one is located right in the middle of campus. The easiest parking is to park in the C lot which is about $5. While small it has all the traditions of a Japanese garden like a pond, koi fish, waterfall, and bridges. It's quaint to walk around and enjoy the sereneness of everything around. There are a few benches to sit and enjoy its beauty and I see some people sitting in the grass towards the pond. If I went to school here, I'd walk by every day. It's also an ideal place to take grad photos or bring visiting parents.

Yelp
Very beautiful and tranquil garden. It was a bit small, but encompassed every aspect of a Japanese garden including bamboo plants, bridges, bonsai plants, koi fishes, stone statues, and turtles! There are a few benches to rest and take in all the beauty. Behind the garden there was a nice rose garden as well. What a treat! Parking was about $4/ hour on the school's campus, and per a previous yelp reviewer, the easiest way to get here was through parking at Parking Lot C
