Lovely park and bar with a pool to cool your feet after a long day walking..cycling and generally getting about. The drink prices are reasonable. Definitely call in here if your in Lisbon. It's beautiful.

On September 7, I visited Jardim Amália Rodrigues and witnessed a partial blood moon eclipse under a cloudy sky. The park, with its wide open spaces and elevated views, was a perfect place to capture the moment in photos. Even with the clouds, the experience was memorable and unique.

It is a delightful urban oasis at the northern edge of Parque Eduardo VII. Whether you’re after a peaceful retreat, a picturesque spot for photos, or simply want to enjoy sweeping views of Lisbon, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit.

Designed by Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles and opened in 1996, the garden was named in 2000 in tribute to Amália Rodrigues, Portugal’s legendary fado singer. The garden features a variety of trees and plants, with quiet walking paths and benches that make it ideal for rest, reflection, or a peaceful stroll.

Somehow hidden from turistic path, a small part of the parc is dedicated to famous singer.

Park with a great view of central Lisbon 💚 The shade of the trees makes for a great place to sit down and relax a bit. The sun beats down quite mercilessly at around midday. The many benches are a welcome addition for weary travelers.

What a beautiful park. With a nice a cosy bar to hang out and have a drink while enjoying the fresh atmosphere.
