Jardín Allende

Beautiful! It's a place you have to go to when in San Miguel! Such a fun place to hang out, eat food and listen to the mariachi bands play!

A lively garden with live music and dancing in the evenings. There are lots of artisans and food stalls. It is a little small and can get a bit crowded but a perfect stop to look at the Parroquia as you walk up the hill

The Plaza Mayor of San Miguel de Allende, well maintained, clean and great to it full everyday with locals and visitors relaxing, watching folks take pics of the Church and the Allende house now a historic museum.

This is the best place to start your visit of the historic core! Plenty of people watching, food and shade when it’s warm.

The Spanish architecture, culture, history and the doors are absolutely amazing in this charming city! In the center of the Jardin, the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel church towers above you with cobblestone streets at your feet. It was very walkable and we covered a lot of ground within a week's stay capturing the unique essence in this area. There are hotels throughout the city as well as Airbnb's. The locals are very friendly and you're greeted by many passerby's! Buenos dias.

So beautiful decorated for Christmas!! Very family friendly and clean! We enjoyed listening to the Mariachis!

Very pretty Jardin. We came here every night during our stay. It was a great place to come and enjoy some ice cream, listen to mariachis, and people watch. Highly recommend.

The Jardin Allende is what I like about smaller town in Mexico! It's the life of the place, the spot where everyone gathers, rests, meets, relaxes, it marks the center of the town with a nice decor and energy. Usually you have a nice quiosk for bands to play in the weekend, a cute water fountain that gives charm to the area, benches where people meet, rest, take a break. It is a charming place with more activity in the weekends. Jardin Allende has a nice trimmed garden and nice views of the Parroquia, you can't beat that! Ideal place to rest and get the vibe of the town!

I come sit here every day. It's become my routine to get a late-morning cup of coffee and just sit here and soak up the vibe. And I'm often here late afternoon or evenings as well. The park is spotless, it seems there are people sweeping the pathways 24x7. There is often wandering musicians, sometimes groups of 6 - 10 people playing and singing. And the view of the Parroquia is stunning. It's just a fantastic place to sit and relax. There are vendors selling ice cream and other food depending on the day, and there are often events, like food markets, or crafts fairs on the square. My favorite spot in SMdA!
