Jardin des plantes de Montpellier

One of the best Gardens in town and its huge. Wheelchair friendly access nd it is nearby Tram station. There is pond inside as well and also a greenhouse too. Overall a great place to spend time around

Beautiful park in the centre of the city of Montpellier. A lot of different plants all around the world. Very well maintained park. Orangery with exotic plants. Very nice place to walk around. Very romantic and quiet. I highly recommend visiting this park while you are in Montpellier on holiday. Free entry.

Dry. In serious need of maintenance. It might be the time of year, but the whole place was really dry and the plants looked like they were on the brink of death. The whole garden really looked like it needed a great deal of maintenance, from general grass cutting and weeding, to repairing concrete and fixing broken watering systems. All in all, unfortunately I would say it’s not really worth the time in Montpellier.

The gardens are free to enter. Plenty of shade on a hot summer day in August. Beautifully landscaped, although many of the plants had finished blooming at this time of year and looked withered. I've visited much nicer botanical gardens, but this one is still worth a visit and easily combined with other sights in beautiful Montpellier!

We got there before the dark so we didn’t see the full beauty of the place but still I would recommend to check the place.

One of the best park to visit if you are in Montpellier. The park is completely free to access, but please remember walking on the grass and having picnics and dogs and bicycles are not allowed.

A peaceful and charming garden — perfect if you're looking for a calm day to unwind or read a book. It's not overly manicured, which gives it a relaxed, natural vibe. Great for a quiet break from the city.

Beautiful free public park with great trees, duck ponds, playgrounds and gardens. Bring a picnic or have lunch at the cafe. There are even several large sequoias! Nice job Bordeaux!
