The Jardín Etnobotánico de Oaxaca is a beautiful and tranquil garden that offers a unique glimpse into the region's rich botanical and cultural heritage. Established to showcase the diverse native plants and their traditional uses by indigenous communities, the garden serves as both a botanical and ethnobotanical educational space.
There was no entrance fee, which makes it an excellent value, though please note that there are no guided tours available at the moment—I'm not sure if this is a recent change. We spent about 30 minutes exploring the gardens, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The scenery is stunning, and considering it’s free, it’s definitely worth the time. Parking nearby was convenient as well. Overall, a lovely spot to relax, learn about Oaxaca’s indigenous flora, and appreciate nature.
