We visited during the week and had brunch. The hostess was so lovely and sweet, as was our server. Unique menu options in a sweetly decorated little restaurant. It's a little pricey, especially with 20% gratuity automatically added. However, it offers menu items not commonly offered - such as Tiramisu Pancakes.

Great environment. They had many colors and a great outdoor patio. The food was not only good, but they made the presentation great. The Restaurant cat, Mrs. Rodriguez, was there to greet us as we found our seat and the kids enjoyed petting her.

Food has been wonderful each visit. Beautifully plated and perfect on the palate. Service is lacking. We waited a while at an empty host stand to be seated. Poor kid that sat us came out of somewhere all sweaty from cleaning somewhere. Our most recent visit included several flies buzzing around our head and table while we tried to eat. At 3:30p I attempted to order one of the newer gourmet coffee beverages off of the menu and was told they stopped serving as they had “already cleaned the espresso machine”. I understand waitstaff wanting to get out early, but I don’t believe any restaurant should not offer the full drink menu an entire THIRTY minutes before they take their last tables. This is not good service. When our waiter came over he asked “do you want your check or something?” Uh yeah, since apparently we can’t order anything else that seems like the next step in this interaction. Lastly, in the spirit of their staff eagerly pre-cleaning we enjoyed wading through a robustly wet floor mopped all around us replete with muddied waitstaff foot prints when we got up to leave.

OMG just discovered this hidden gem called Jardin last week with my girls and I'm already planning to drag my mom and bf there ASAP! 💕 Started with this magical blue mocktail called midnight jewels that was literally blueberry heaven in a glass! 🫐✨ We went all in on this mezze plate situation - deviled eggs, this amazing feta, and these insane white cheddar stuffed dates with warm nan bread. Like, seriously? SO. GOOD. Got the pan seared salmon for my main and it was chef's kiss - perfect portion size since we already stuffed our faces with apps! The vibes were immaculate - super peaceful garden setting, chill music, and there was even this adorable cat just napping on a bench living its best life! 😻 Can't believe I'm only finding out about this place now! Definitely my new fave spot! 💯

First time visiting this amazing place and it won’t be the last! Everything that we tried was delicious, from the sweet tea, the Mediterranean bowl, the grilled cheese and the pita! We even had the “donut of the month” 10/10 ⭐️ Virginia also provided amazing service, she made our experience very enjoyable. I definitely recommend checking this place out!!! Thank you for taking care of us Virginia

I visited Jardín for a Birthday Brunch this past Sunday. The reservation process was simple and the staff provided excellent service. I purchased the Mediterranean Bowl while others in my party ordered the Tiramisu Pancakes, Blueberry Waffles, Two Bros BBQ Smoked Brisket Hash, among other dishes. My own Mediterranean bowl was excellent. The falafel was a unique flavor and perfect texture. The remainder of the dish was like a regular salad with many Whole Foods. I was able to try the other dishes my party had ordered and would highly recommend the Blueberry Waffles for anyone looking for something slightly sweet and savory at the same time. All in all, I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting the Botanical Gardens or simply anyone in the area looking for a good brunch spot.

The cappucino was very warm and delicious. The brunch was differrent but in a good way. Our waitress was very friendly and suggested perfect dishes for our first visit. We had Tiranisu pancakes 🥰 Carriage house breakfast Breakfast brioche sammy

Google
First time and really loved the cuteness of the decor. Food looked amazing and tasted pretty good, Nutella French Toast was a little dry, Blueberry Waffles was really good but I could only eat half and Breakfast Brioche Sammy came with a delicious spring mix salad. What killed the atmosphere for us was the music - Gwen Stefani, then Bruno Mars and then Whos Bed Have Your Boots Been Under by Shania Twain and then Sweetness by Jimmy Eat World. Not exactly the vibe we were expecting in such a quaint place. We ended our meal with a Nutella Torte which was rich and yummy. Chris, our server was very nice and attentive, 5 stars for him! We will be back.

Yelp
I heard Jardin was getting ready to close at the end of the month (May 2025) and wanted to stop by before they did so. I am so disappointed I waited this long. It was a BEAUTIFUL day so we sat outside, the staff was very kind and friendly. I got the 3 selections with naan to dip in my taziki and it was incredible. It's the perfect sample meal with the perfect portion sizes. I may even try to squeeze in one more visit before it's gone.

Yelp
Food amazing! The avocado toast is different than most with Wasabi peas, cilantro greens and everything seasoning. It was really good. The plating was beautiful. I am coming back for it. The chai tea was the right balance of flavors and sweet. Neither was overpowering. Service .. still weird. The hostess table is by committee still and no one can figure it out. Three servers ask me if I had been helped and then disappeared before the 4th seated me. My waitress was confused and rarely checked in. Someone else brought my plate. However, she forgot to add bacon to my order. So to her credit she comp'd the bacon and chai --- more than fair. Other waiters, however, I can see doing a great job. So, it must be my luck.

Yelp
Jardín serves fresh Mediterranean-style food in a beautiful setting at the botanical garden. It's a versatile place that works for coffee meetings, snacks with kids, date night, or a leisurely lunch with friends. Dining indoors has the benefit of the historic carriage house interior, while dining on the patio puts you on the verge of acres of landscaping. The kitchen has a consistent touch with savory dishes like salmon (crisp outside, tender inside) and falafel. Selecting small plates from the list of mezze (like deviled eggs and stuffed dates) is a great way to build a meal -- especially for sharing.

Yelp
Book club meeting at this cute area right next to Botanical Gardens. Very large inside- ideal for larger groups. We made reservations for Sunday brunch but probably could have just walked in right at opening. The waffle was tasty- but a bit too thick for my tastes and the drinks were good. More of an aesthetically pleasing place. Food was

Yelp
Located inside the botanical gardens area. It is not inside the garden as you can drive to it via the parking lot. Just continue driving straight until you hit a stop sign and you'll see it on the right hand side when you come into the botanical gardens drive. Went for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't busy. We got seated right away and recommendations were provided by our waitress. We started off with a mezze appetizer. I got the deviled eggs, Sicilian cauliflower , and the naan. The deviled eggs were to die for. They are soft boiled and topped with red onion jam. I could've definitely eaten more of them. They are not your typical deviled eggs that have mayo mix. The cauliflower was Just OK. I would consider something else next time. The naan bread was delicious. You don't even need anything to dip it in because it's full of flavorful spices. For my main meal I got the dirty patatas bravas with a fried egg. They came on a bed of spicy sauce. The potatoes were tater tots. The dish was good, but not excellent. I ordered a latte and requested it not too sweet. It was perfect. At the end, we treated ourselves with the donut of the day. The presentation was beautiful. It was strawberry with petal roses. It was a great end of meal treat. The place is very cute. I can see people having baby showers or bridal showers there. They do have brunch and lunch available. Parking is on site, free and plentiful

Yelp
Let's start off strong. The place is cute for a brunch outing. Nice indoor area. It does get pretty loud so keep that in mind if you're looking for something quiet. Saw reviews about a DJ some days. Luckily no DJ this day. The service was eh. Took about 10mins before someone came by for drink order. At one point we had another server come ask if we'd been helped (we had at this point) so they obviously noticed the lack of attention. Food. We tried the Mezze with the dates, bruschetta and deviled eggs. All pretty decent. I enjoyed the dates the most. They were pretty sweet. Deviled eggs were mid. First cup of coffee was cold. Unsure how that was not noticed when it was brought over because when we asked for a replacement the coffee was visibly hot and steaming. Pancakes were pretty good. Thick so if you like thick pancakes you're in luck. The salmon. It was a definite no. If you look at the picture it's a ridiculous amount for $22. It was so salty almost as if they dropped it in a mound of salt then pan seared it. I had to pick at it and eat the middle. I would not recommend especially at that price. Overall I would not recommend this place. 2 stars only for atmosphere.

Yelp
This restaurant has a lot of mixed reviews but we had a fantastic experience. We stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon about an hour and a half before closing. Firstly, the restaurant is beautiful the location is stunning right outside of the botanical gardens. If we weren't in a rush to drive back to Houston we would have loved to explore. Our waitress was a woman with really stylish eyeglasses, she was very kind and attentive. I ordered a Stop & Smell The Flowers mocktail, Turkey Sandwich, and Spicy Pickle Tots. The mocktail was delicious and refreshing. I loved the turkey sandwich, it has a sauce on it that was a little tangy and it was delicious. The tots were good but I didn't get much spice or pickle flavor. My coworker had the Lamb Burger and she said it was delicious, and she really enjoyed her Vietnamese coffee with whipped cream and edible rose petals. Overall, if I'm ever back in San Antonio I will absolutely stop by here again!

Yelp
Went here for their new brunch offerings and it was superb! It's open and airy with garden influences that make you feel calm. The servers are so sweet & super attentive too. I never know what to get so I always ask, & they know the good stuff! Food is impeccable and well plated as well! You'll see petals and herbs on a lot of the dishes to give it that special oomph! I ordered just about one thing from each section! Garden Frittata for the brunch vibes, chilled shrimp from the shareables, salmon from the lunch menu, blueberry waffles from the sweet brunch, amongst mezze items and others. I love snacking on a variety so the mezze stuff is perfect, & you gotta pair it with their famous naan pita! Dessert is so good too! The chocolate torte is so decadent! They also offer mocktails and coffee! I got both but my coffee never came out, no worries though! Would recommend!

Yelp
Jardin offers a unique dining experience, situated beautifully within the botanical gardens. The service starts off refreshing, with water served with both lemon and lime slices--a nice touch. I chose the restaurant week menu option. I opted for the Mezze Sampler which included lentils, cauliflower, and lemon ricotta topped with red wine vinegar. While all the components were served cold and the cauliflower was particularly flavorful, the vinegar on the ricotta was a bit too bitter for my taste. Additionally, it's worth noting that pita bread costed extra. The Fattoush Salad followed, which was a pleasant continuation of the meal. However, the real star of the evening was the Salmon and Orzo--absolutely delicious with perfectly cooked orzo and a sweet topping that made it my favorite part of the meal. To finish, I tried the Olive Oil Cake. I was quite full by this point, so I packed most of it up after a small taste, but it was very delicious and left a lasting impression. I also enjoyed a Peach Bellini, which was strong and effective, though it could have used a bit more peach flavor. While the botanical gardens setting is undoubtedly beautiful, the presence of several curious insects did detract slightly from the experience. Though I mentioned the bugs to the staff, I later noticed bug fans inside that were not offered to me. Also, gratuity was automatically included, which is good to note for future visits. Overall, my experience at Jardin was positive. I would like to visit again one day but would definitely choose to eat inside next time.

Yelp
Was visiting the botanical gardens an found that there's a restaurant onsite. I wanted a quick drink and was able to enjoy the gardens in their outdoor seating area. Prices aren't too bad. Servers were nice and friendly but they were quite scattered. They'd bring food to the wrong tables and didn't communicate with each other as to what tables had been serviced so we waited for water for a bit. The mimosa was fine and great for a morning stroll through the gardens.

Yelp
My first 5-star review goes to Jardín Restaurant, and it's well-deserved! I visited during Restaurant Week, and everything was incredible. The presentation of the food was gorgeous, and every bite was absolutely amazing. The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was perfect--especially sitting on the patio surrounded by the beauty of the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Highly recommend this gem for a delightful dining experience!

Yelp
Visited here after a trip to the Botanical Gardens left me with a rumbly in my tumbly. The location is in the same parking lot so it worked out. The food options aren't exactly what I expect from a Mediterranean restaurant but still a delightful treat! I had the breakfast sandwich which was very filling and good, and my husband had the stuffed French toast which he enjoyed as well!

Yelp
There is no other place like it ! If you're looking for a dining experience that's as stunning as it is delicious, look no further than Jardín, tucked away in the breathtaking San Antonio Botanical Garden. This restaurant is a true hidden gem, offering a feast for both the palate and the eyes. From the moment you step onto the patio surrounded by lush greenery, you'll feel like you've been transported to a Mediterranean oasis. The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming, with fresh garden vibes that complement the menu perfectly. Speaking of the menu--it's a masterpiece! Jardín's focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients shines in every dish. The service is just as exceptional--attentive and warm, making you feel like a guest in someone's home. Pair your meal with a crisp glass of wine or one of their creative cocktails, and you'll see why this spot is a must-visit. Pro tip: don't skip dessert! Jardín is more than a restaurant; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, you'll leave feeling nourished and inspired. Make a reservation, and prepare to fall in love with this botanical paradise! And if I'm honest, the prices are so perfect. I'd rather spend $14 on a delicious chef designed meal than $14 at a fast food place ANY DAY!

Yelp
Not a bad place. Food was ok. The service was amazing! It's hard to find people who actually want to work in this city. Ripley was great at making sure we were happy and satisfied. As for the food. Anything that states "potatoes" on the menu are really just tater tots. And I'm not a fan of tots Napoleon! The two bros hash was harsh. The meat was days old and over some tots. Wife couldn't even eat the Sammy it was very bland. Trust me, you will need alot of salt here. However the appetizers were pretty good the cheese stuffed dates were very nice and naan bread was awesome! This place has a lot of potential so just bear with them, they just started. And if a chef is needed, mi Primo de Laredo is a phenomenal chef. And watch out for the mimosas, the juice might be a bit past its prime.

Yelp
Discovered that Jardín has added brunch/breakfast to their service when we visited the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Had a delightful meal: mushroom frittata for me and avocado toast for my wife. Amazing fresh naan with zatar, hot from the oven. Hard to beat their patio at this time of year (Fall) amidst the lovely trees and adjacent garde

Yelp
I am an international traveler and have been to restaurant all over the world and I can't speak highly enough of Jardin. The food was AMAZING, the service was incredible. The ambience is cozy and elegant at the same time. I came for brunch on Sunday and the manager, Ripley, greeted us and took extra time to explain the menu and make recommendations and we had the Naan, the Turkey Club, the Beet salad, and the Avocado toast. I am so grateful he made those suggestions because everything was fantastic! I highly recommend the Limoncello Spritzer. And make sure you say hi to the manager, Ripley, because he was awesome!

Yelp
Great Brunch Spot! We had the tiramisu pancakes (so fluffy), blueberry waffles, brisket hash, and a mezze trio--everything was delicious! I was obsessed with the grilled cheese sandwich. Loved the relaxed vibe and the service was on point. Perfect spot for a laid-back brunch with Mediterranean flavors. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Well this was next to the San Antonio botanical garden and just found out that this point restaurant is its own business next to the garden. It was unusual. Anyways in regards to the service they were very attentive. Ambience is very nice and romantic. The food was decent. I did like the tomato bisque soup was delicious I had a sample from my mom. I wanted something sweet. There was another sweet meal which was tiramisu pancakes but they didn't have any so the other choice which I was also looking was the Nutella French toast. It was just ok. The Nutella as a topping was good but it wasn't necessary made like a true French toast where it's soaked in egg. Other than that the place was decent but had to write a review since I'm here. Thus 4 out of 5 stars. I saw they had lamb burgers which look delicious and gazpachos a Spanish soup serve cool but just wasn't healing for a savory dishes. I come next time maybe I would consider but since I live far in Chicago it would be a while

Yelp
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. First off, I did not know this existed until my friend suggested we give it a try for dinner. We had reservations for 6 PM which was the right time to go. We were one of the first so we got the waiter's full attention. We started with the pork belly hummus served with naan that's topped with butter, garlic & herbs. This was absolutely delicious!! It was so good that I ordered another to go. Our other sides were deviled eggs (topped with hollandaise sauce), dates stuffed with cheddar and pickled cauliflower. The dates were also a crowd favorite. I had the eggplant stuffed with mozzarella parmigiana. Again, much like the other dishes mentioned, I loved it!! My friend had the roasted chicken which she did not really care for. It was pretty bland. We finished our dinner with their olive oil cake which I would skip next time. The cake was quite dry. Our waiter was very friendly and made sure he personalized the service. This cute restaurant is a place I'd return to just to try their other dishes.

Yelp
It was our 1st time here. We came during Culinaria Week. We ordered from the Culinaria menu, including drinks and desserts, which were extra. The ambiance was quaint and cozy, Our server Virginia did a good job in attending to us. The food was prepared fresh and everything was absolutely delicious. We had a great experience and will certainly come back again. Come check them out for yourself!

Yelp
Our book clubs pick for May meetup. I was excited to try another of Jason Dady's restaurants, having previously been to Tre & Range. This was had a Mediterranean twist and was so delicious. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The girls couldn't get enough of the Flora Martini. I ordered the mezzo plate w/tzatziki, deviled eggs, and feta with naan. Everything but especially that naan bread was very tasty. My daughter ordered the Turkey/avocado Sammy and ate every bite. I had the frittata and after the mezze I was not able to finish it but it was delicious. The restaurant is also very lovely and of course the garden is beautiful. Staff is great! Ask for Selinda, she's a sweetheart.

Yelp
We come here all the time. The service is spotty and the old building, while cute, can be hot. But they are kind to kids, and have a massive patio if the weather is nice, or the kids need to run around. And you can't beat the botanical garden as a neighbor. Our favorites are the incredible naan bread, the arancini, and the "grilled cheese" (it's goat cheese and tomato jam, not at all like a "regular" grilled cheese, but so good). For mains - we love the salmon and the lamb meatballs. My husband loves the meatballs so much, I had to figure out a copycat dish at home. Cocktails can be hit or miss, I love that they have multiple spritz options.

Yelp
The food was very good. The atmosphere was ideal for the location and met expectations the service was merely okay. We were met with several issues about our party that were not sufficiently arranged for by the event coordinator. The remedies for the problems were adequate for a venue of this sort, and we were patient. The unfortunate part is that the issues we encountered were not over. When we were seated at different tables, no attempt was made to provide tables that were anywhere near each other. When ordering we were not told that the couscous on the menu was not going to be served, and no substitution was to be made. This was an issue that sat wrong with many people in our party. One person was provided with something, unapologetically. The next visit we were told that the couscous was upon request, but still never received it, we didn't remind them because we had over ordered anyway. Note- pizza can easily be a shared meal.

Yelp
A girls' luncheon date for restaurant week. Loved how it was located in the San Antonio Botanical Garden. A cute, cozy chateau with a Mediterranean flair. Super rainy day, but perhaps I'll come back to visit in the spring to check out the gardens. Cute entrance and we were the first customers of the day, as our reservations were for 11am. We were greeted immediately and seated near the window. Server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant week menu looked absolutely fabulous, but I didn't realize in small print that a few items were supplemental, which meant cost additional. For instance the hummus appetizer was an additional $12 and dessert $6. But each of us ordered the mezza sampler which consisted of small shareable bowls of roasted cauliflower with capers, lentils, and tzatziki. For my first entree, I chose the Jardín salad. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Loved the hearts of palm, olives, artichokes, and light basalmic vinaigrette amongst the greens. Per our server's recommendation, the salmon is the most popular main entree. I went for it, and honestly it was so yummy. The presentation itself was gorgeous! The perfectly cooked salmon was atop a lemon flavored orzo, topped with a sweet relish and crème fraiche. My friends ordered the roasted chicken and beef kefta kebobs and the chicken dish shined as well. Overall good service and food.

Yelp
I've been to Jardin at the SA Botanical Gardens several times and have always enjoyed a great experience. The service is Top-Drawer, the food is excellent and the surroundings make it special. It's a peaceful and serine restaurant, great for romantic dinners or, an afternoon with friends away from hectic noisy venues. As always, Eat in Good Health.

Yelp
We showed up at 50 minutes before they closed. They didn't seem happy that we were there. I asked when the kitchen closed and they told me maybe 30 minutes. They still seemed unhappy that we were there. I told them we would just get drinks. The waitress was a brunette with glasses and the receipt said her name was Jay G. She was unpleasant. It's a shame that paying customers are treated bad.

Yelp
Most delicious brunch in San Antonio. Very nice place. Quiet. Service is great. Definitely will come back here

Yelp
I would have loved to eat here, but I never even got my food lol. My husband and I went for brunch this past Saturday around 11:30am. There was only one other group seated outside at that time. We ordered some appetizers, which were delicious! We ordered entrees and my husband received his pizza (which according to the menu needs extra time to be prepared) and I never received my frittata. As more people started coming in, I noticed they were getting their food and I still didn't have mine. I asked our waitress to check on it, she did and said the kitchen kept missing her tickets. About 10 minutes later, I asked another waitress who was taking care of another table and she said she'd check with my waitress. Cool. Our waitress comes back and apologizes and I told her if it's not already being made, just go ahead and cancel it. And then she came back with our check... I was so sad! And hungry! While this experience has been a hilarious story to tell our friends, I don't think we will come back here again. I have been badly burned by Jardin (not by their coffee though bc that was cold when I got it).

Yelp
Came in for Culinaria's Restaurant Week. Wanted to support a great cause and enjoy some good food. The food was a great value. The sampler doesn't come with bread or crackers! How are you supposed to eat whipped ricotta, picked cauliflower, and lentils? When we asked for bread, they brought out some naan and it was delicious! But it was also $5. The salads were good but inconsistent. We ordered two an only one of the bowls was full. The entrees were good. Service was slow and it took longer than a lunch hour, in case you are on a time limit. Glad we came but would probably not come back unless it was for a good cause or an event such as Restaurant Week.
google avatar

Alyssa C.

Yelp
The service and food were poor quality. They were selective on who they sat at tables, not based on reservations, overall pretty terrible experience. The location is pretty, so if you are wanting a cool architectural experience in the gardens for only $45 and an empty stomach, I would highly recommend Jardín!

Yelp
The girls and I weren't able to make it over here during Restaurant Week, but I was so impressed with the menu, we planned for a ladies dinner so I could try it out. I am a huge fan of Mediterranean cuisine and Jardín did not disappoint! Very quaint and cozy ambiance tucked in the beautiful San Antonio Botanical Gardens, it was a lovely evening retreat. We started with the Mezze Table where we could sample all the appetizers family style: tzatziki, mast o khiar (cucumber and rose petals), salata adas, marinated olives, Sicilian cauliflower, garden bruschetta, marinated feta, white cheddar stuffed dates, grilled cheese, and bolognese stuffed arinci. I enjoyed the fantastic flavors of everything, but my favorites were the grilled cheese (with an incredible jam on top), the bolognese-stuffed arincini, and lentils. The lentils were incredibly seasoned and I could've eaten an entire VAT of them! The marinated olives should've been larger OR pitted. They were so small and having to bite out the seed was - well - annoying. Felt like I was eating sunflower seeds and having to spit out the shell Loved the marinade, however. Also, was very perplexed that naan wasn't included in the Mezze Table - and was a separate order. Not sure what they expected one to eat the tzatziki with I decided on their salad of the day and soup of gne day, a cauliflower bisque. The lemon vinaigrette on the salad left much to be desired and was rather bland. Would've loved more flavor in it. The bites with feta in it helped it out. The cauliflower bisque was amazing!! Such a wonderfully creamy delight. Because I went to crazy with the appetizers, soup and salad, I opted for a "small plate" of beef kefta kabobs. So very yummy!! I was only able to eat one, and the second the next day was just as good! And that rice they served with it - oh my it was good!! It was slightly creamy with a hint of lemon. I forgot our server's name, but she was pleasant, attentive and offered up her recommendations, which were great!! She seemed new at times, but we all have to start somewhere and she did great!! The manager on duty, Ripley ("like Believe It Or Not") was great as well...genuine, welcoming, and just the right amount of check ins. I HAVE to come back to try the rest of the menu! Nice little gem to have here in SATX :)

Yelp
Restaurant Week 2024 review!!! I have been wanting to try this place for a while and when it came up on the restaurant week list I knew I had to try it. The lunch price is 20$!! Yes 20$!! Note, there is an up charge for one of the first course choices, both desserts, and cocktail/wines. But all considered 20$ is an amazing value. Service and ambiance are great. Now food, the mezze sampler is small but tasty. If you go with two ppl and you both order the sampler they will only bring one, which was kind of annoying at first but it was enough for both of us. The curried cauliflower soup was delicious. Creamy and earthy with a very light curry flavor from the curried yogurt (?) on top. I did think an addition of the cauliflower from the mezze right one top would have been perfection so I did that and it was great. Highly recommend. The chicken breast itself was actually dry and the beans underneath really didn't help a whole lot but the seasoning was tasty nonetheless. The salmon was cooked spot on and very flavorful. I'd go for the salmon if I went again. Dessert was soooo good. That olive oil cake was moist and dense but in a good way. The honey mascarpone added just the right amount of sweetness while the saffron cream brought an interesting flavor. Overall the deal is incredible. For 20$ you would be silly not to give this menu a try!

Yelp
I came to the botanical gardens with my friend and it was nice to have a sit down brunch at Jardin. There is an entrance from the botanical garden but if you just want to eat without paying an entrance free they have a door in the front. I ordered the 3 plates for 13 dollars and I really enjoyed being able to pick from a verity of plates. I got a grilled cheese, dates, whipped feta, and pitta bread. I'm not a big fan of goat cheese and I didn't realize the grilled cheese was goat cheese but my friend really enjoyed it. The waiter was really nice and offered to bring me something else instead.

Yelp
They were short staffed and the manager on duty went above and beyond to make our experience outstanding. It was my birthday lunch and she made it outstanding!! Food was excellent also

Yelp
We visited Jardin for restaurant week, a nice spot located at the SA Botanical Garden. It's a quaint spot with a European feel. There was one waiter who was attentive but thank goodness there weren't a lot of diners when we arrived or it may have been hard for him to keep up! There was a set menu for the event and it was a little disheartening to see how many of the items listed were an upcharge. Specifically, the strawberry sangria aperitif, the alternate appetizer, dessert (if desired) and any wine pairings. However, the food was quite tasty and the overall experience was good. It's worth a visit if you're in the area and if you go on a day that isn't rainy like it was today you can enjoy the garden too!

Yelp
My friends and I went to Jardin for the specials during Restaurant Week. We were a little disappointed with the limited selections that were included in the set price but we did enjoy the meal, although I don't feel it was a 5 , meal. The server was friendly and attentive. There is plenty of seating in this establishment and they also have an upstairs (we didn't go up there). It was a fun restaurant in the same area as the Botanical Gardens.

Yelp
Random choice for Restaurant week lunch turning out to be a good choice! I had a work lunch to plan for the ladies I work with and a client so there was some pressure to please. It is located inside the San Antonio Botanical gardens and hard to tell where the location is from the outside. You will need to park in the San Antonio Botanical gardens towards the back area and walk in to find the restaurant. Super quaint and cute little house with cute interior. Definitely, a place to go with the girls. I ordered the mezze sampler, asparagus soup, and salmon for my restaurant week lunch menu for $20. Everything was delicious, but my least favorite was the asparagus soup. We also ordered a Chantilly olive oil cake to share. The cake was dry, but the Chantilly was always good. I'll definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
My sister-in-law is visiting us for a few days from Valparaiso, Indiana. Yesterday, we decided to take her to visit the San Antonio Botanical Gardens and eat lunch at Jardin. It certainly was the perfect weather for it. It wasn't too humid, there was a breeze, and there were enough clouds to block the sun. After a very nice walk around the gardens, we went straight to the restaurant and sat at an outdoor table. We had a great server who really knew his stuff. He made suggestions to enhance our meals that turned out to be spot on. He was able to answer all of my questions. I know... I have a bad habit of asking a lot of questions. I don't like surprises when I am eating out. My wife ordered the Mezze Plates. They have a list of about twenty or so items, and you get to pick any three to build your meal. You could also order six or nine plates for sharing, but three was the perfect size for one diner's lunch. She ordered the naan pita, bolognese stuffed arancini, and lemon-ricotta spread. She really enjoyed the combination. I have to say it looked really good. My sister-in-law ordered the Jardin salad with salmon. The salad was made with butter leaf lettuce, hearts of palm, artichoke, olives, red onion, sweet bell peppers and white balsamic vinaigrette. It not only looked delicious, the smell of the salmon was mesmerizing. I almost wished I had ordered that, also. Don't worry about me, though. I ordered the lamb burger. It was accompanied by a dollop of classic humus and a delicious mixed greens salad with a tangy greek dressing. The burger had tomato, cucumber, red onion, and a house-made mayo-feta crema. It was served on a very nice and soft roll. That crema really sealed the deal for me. I loved it. I really have to agree with my sister-in-law who says that museums and botanical gardens always seem to have the nicest lunch venues. Jardin was very comfortable with its close to the rose garden. They played a soft soundtrack of popular songs being sung by the same woman. I feel like I should have known who it was. It was played at just the right volume to enhance our meal. I'm going to grab my camera and spend the day at the gardens by myself soon. When I do, I will grab lunch at Jardin. It is a small menu, but it does leave you wanting to try a lot of dishes.

Yelp
The kids grilled cheese is not really kid friendly... made with cold goat cheese and just barely warmed bread. We got our table within 30 minutes without a reservation, but waited over an hour for our food. The "homemade" dounut is just a Krispy Kreme donut with chocolate drizzle. The waiters are very nice but the timing was awful. The ambiance is okay but there is a smoke filled smell that gave me a headache. We were served the wrong Mock- tail after waiting for 20 minutes. My salad was just spinach and house sauce... not much of a salad. There was a HAIR in my chicken. Overall a bad experience.

Yelp
Very quaint, cozy setting to enjoy sitting out and dining. This is not a place to rush and dine. It's to experience your meal. Everything was fresh with a splash of taste. Service was great, even with a rush Desert was superb, but warning: taste is unexpected. Not as sweet as most cakes, and very moist, for an organic and healthy feel

Yelp
We had a wonderful morning exploring the garden and wanted to have a nice drink and birthday lunch for me, the bar area was completely empty except for two seats that needed to be serviced and cleared. we were told we would not be able to be seated due to bar tender being behind for interviews that the manager was conducting at a different table. Hopefully it's not because we are alternative dressed as I would have loved to have a nice birthday lunch here. The host was extremely rude and the manager did nothing.... we will not be trying again.

Yelp
Jardin is such a gorgeous restaurant, located in the middle of the San Antonio Botanical Gardens! I first went there a year or so ago for restaurant week and finally returned recently. My mom loves Mediterranean food and flowers so this was the best place to take her and my sisters when they were in town! We went for lunch on a Saturday and I noticed they also have a brunch menu on the weekends which is fun. The atmosphere inside is really pretty and the food is so fresh and delicious. The salmon was my favorite entree and the stuffed dates were my favorite appetizer! They also have great coffee. It's the type of place you want to take your time dining at to enjoy the ambiance. The service is very friendly. I wish when we went it was a little cooler outside so we could've roamed the gardens more. This is a beautiful dining experience worth checking out!!

Yelp
Always love coming to a Dady restaurant!! Today we had a late lunch in the 105 degree SA summer but sitting outside under their canopy of trees with a delicious peach Bellini was just what we needed to survive. There is seating inside, I just love to enjoy what I can see if the Botanical Gardens. We had 3 starter plates. The bruschetta is different than you'd expect but just a tasty. The Mast-o khiar is my fave!! The rose petals, the coolness, the slightly citrus tang... delicious with the city's BEST Naan bread. Seriously. The third starter plate was the tomato jam grilled cheese. Sweet tomato jam with whole cherry tomatoes on perfectly crispy/buttery bread with what I think was mascarpone cheese. We then decided to split a pasta and a small plate. The spicy shrimp Zhoug was yummy! The white lasagna we very cheesy, maybe a little too much. It's a vegetarian lasagna and I definitely missed the meat. Probably won't get that again. Overall great dinner :)

Yelp
We had been visiting the amazing new-style topiaries - such as a dinosaur made of mixed media and plants - when hunger struck! This is the museum cafe, so it was the natural choice and we lucked out! The restaurant has a Middle Eastern theme (mezze, pitas, lamb burgers, etc.) and everything we had was excellent, followed by a great non-ME cheesecake. We'll, it did have chopped candied pistachios. It's also a lovely place, service was good, and they have good cocktails and wines.

Yelp
The worst EVER!!!!! We went for restaurant week with a group of friends and I must say. The worst ever. The food was slow to come out, some of us were finished eating before others in our party were waiting for their food. The presentation of the plates were ughhh, not good at all. The salmon was horrible and we should have know looking at the plate. I rarely give a bad review and often will keep one short if the business is lacking some, but what I have to say about Jardin is: Do not go!
