"An Off-the-Beaten-Track Green Space This small park in the Canal Saint-Martin area offers a respite from the bustling city. Among the many varieties of trees and flowers, you'll find a grassy space for sunbathing, a pond for birdwatching and a garden where veggies and flowers are cultivated. The park was the former site of a convent and military hospital; today the only remnant is a stone gateway at the Rue des Récollets entrance."

We went there on a hot weekend, and people were lying down on the grass, some sprinklers were on and people were cooling off. There is a nice gazebo there and a playground for children to enjoy as well. Nice place.

Nice park to have a small nap under smiths sun . The park is clean , no trace of insect nor dog waste . I took a nap here for 20 minutes after having my lunch in a restaurant nearby . It is a good park to hang out with your friends or dog . There are plenty of restaurant nearby as well

Beautiful park, not a tourist place but in between residential place, proper swings & other for children, everywhere benches for sitting. Loved to see a small hut which had balcony & window , full of flower pots, a well for water in front of this hut. Overall a lovely garden.

Pretty park not far from the train station. The park has two playgrounds for children. Really well kept and tidy. Even has a community garden here which is nice to walk around.

Nice park, plenty of bins. Short walk from the train station. Lots of flower beds. Big section of children's play areas. There is also some spray machines which spray out water which is very nice on a hot day. Toilets on site.

Jardin Villemin – A Hidden Oasis in the Heart of Paris 📍 *Perfect for: Sunny picnics, quiet reading, or lazy hangs with friends Tucked along Canal Saint-Martin, Jardin Villemin is a petite but charming escape from the city buzz. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in cozy vibes—think shaded benches, grassy knolls, and a relaxed crowd. I loved unwinding here with friends over coffee (or wine, no judgment). The canal-side location adds a breezy energy, and it’s just steps from trendy cafés if you need a snack refill. If you want a *chill* afternoon without the Luxembourg Gardens crowds, this is your spot. #ParisSecret 🌿☕

It looked like a great place to spend a summer day with family or friends.

This is a cute little parc with trees and a playground for kids. My wife who is Persian had heard that it was being renamed for Mahsa Amini, the Iranian girl whose death at the hands of the morality police triggered the zan, zendegi, azadi protests around the world. We saw no evidence of the name change on site but the declaration was fairly recent.
