Jardines De Lorca

The best hotel in Lorca. The location is very convenient, about 15 minutes walk to the city centre and very easy to get to by car. The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood, very peaceful and safe. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was specious and well equipped. The bed was large and comfortable and everything was very clean with all the equipment and supplies that one will need in the bathroom. There was a lovely balcony with great views and all the staff were very helpful although not everyone could speak English. There is free parking at the hotel as well as a restaurant and bar but we opted not to eat breakfast at the hotel and instead we had a great breakfast at a local coffee shop 5 minutes away at the private hospital nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice comfortable room, service from reception was excellent. No tea/coffee facilities available in the room which was a disappointment. But overall, nice place.

The hotel has large and bright rooms and bathrooms and a large free parking lot. The interior is not modern; the bed is comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant - very good food with nice plating, fast and good service. The breakfast is very rich with many options. Competent and kind staff at the reception and in the restaurant. The hotel is located behind the station and the railway lines, at 400 meters walking to the center in a straight road. Unfortunately, this straight road cannot be accessed for now because there are construction works, so either you stay isolated in the hotel, or you dare to walk over 1.5 km to the center, bypassing the constructions.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were mostly very friendly. Bit disappointed that we were expected to share a bed with our child instead of a 3rd bed being installed in the room. Bar food was delicious and very reasonable. Breakfast was a good quality with plenty to choose from. Perfect for one or maybe two nights stay.

Generally speaking the hotel is good, some rooms are larger than others (for instance, one of our colleagues had a double room with very limited space around the bed). Beds were comfy, they had a varied range of pillows to choose from (soft, semi-firm, firm...) You will get a nice sleep in this hotel! They have free, easy parking as well as wifi. We did not try the breakfast but tried the restaurant, which has bright lights around it (not great to create an atmosphere) and left us a bit disappointed. The staff member that dealt with us was very unpleasant (apparently, he is always like that, but we gave him the benefit of the doubt) and the food was appalling. We ordered pizza, they didn't have any vegetarian ones and the one with tuna was one that had just been put in the microwave. It looked like dog food and it didn't feel nice at all. If you order salad and a portion of chips they charge you a whopping 15 euros, which felt unfair. The hotel has potential but certain areas will need to be reviewed.

A clean room with all the amenities and the bed is comfy. What I love about this hotel is the thermal circuit spa. It's only €20 for the hotel guest. It's so relaxing that I feel completely rejuvenated after it. I may stay in the hotel again just for its spa. Con: the pool is pretty small and it's always full of people for the 2 days that we were there.

Stayed here just for 1 night whilst travelling through Lorca It was November, so not a lot going on. No information on any breakfast available when we checked in. Rooms ok, basic, and only 2 plug sockets available by the desk, nothing next to the bed to plug charge phones. Room was next to the lift so we could hear that. All in all ok, looks a lot nicer in the photos
