The Best Picnic Spots in Paris, According to Locals | Vogue

"In front of the Eiffel Tower, tucked behind the Musée de l’Homme, there’s a secret nook that looks strikingly like Japan, complete with a mini pond and koi; it’s also conveniently close to Carette for a little wrapped sandwich (and nothing else!)." - Nicole Kliest

5 unexpected cities around the world to see cherry blossoms - SilverKris

"A 10,000m2 landscaped garden where cherry blossom trees are among the first to flower in Paris, lining both sides of the Warsaw Fountains and perfectly framing uninterrupted views of the Eiffel Tower; blossoms are typically visible from mid-March to late-April, creating a classic springtime setting for strolls and photos." - NICOLA ISEARD

Visiting the area near the Eiffel Tower offers a truly memorable experience. The view of this iconic landmark is breathtaking, and it is easy to understand why so many people from around the world come here to admire its beauty. Whether during the day or illuminated at night, the tower creates a magical atmosphere that makes the visit worthwhile. That said, there are a few aspects visitors should be mindful of. The walking paths around the tower can sometimes feel crowded, as many local vendors set up stalls or approach tourists to sell goods. While some may find this part of the local character, others might prefer a clearer walkway to enjoy the scenery more comfortably. In addition, certain areas can be a little dimly lit after sunset, and the lively atmosphere may feel noisy at times. As with any popular tourist destination, it is wise to remain attentive to your belongings, as pickpocketing can occur in busy spots. A little caution goes a long way in ensuring a pleasant visit. Overall, the Eiffel Tower remains a must-see attraction, and with some awareness, visitors can fully enjoy the charm and grandeur of this remarkable place.

Great place to take those Eiffel Tower pictures! My husband I came here during our visit to the area in October 2025. It is s perfect place to stop and sit and just take in the sights as well as people watch. It is such a pretty park. Would highly recommend and will be back while in the area.

It is probably one of the most popular places in Paris to go and fully see and enjoy the view of the tower. While having a lot of good restaurants and plenty of parks nearby many people choose to stay here for a while so it is crowded all the time. Be aware of scammers and pickpockets. But if you are aware of your surroundings you are fine.

Visited on a weekday at night and found a bench in the park with a great view of the Eiffel Tower! It wasn’t too busy just a couple people passing by to take pictures. So lovely to see the Tower all lit up and sparkling intermittently would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a more reflective moment away from the crowds.

Came here on the metro to see the Eiffel Tower. It was crowded and construction was going on, but the view is hard to beat. If you want some great pictures of the tower, start here. There are a lot of people peddling their trinkets and photos. Everyone was taking lots of photos and enjoying the nightlife.

Must visit place. We were there in the evening time and did not do any kind of booking . We just wanted to enjoy the view . We went on nice walks around , visited Christmas market and went to a nice dining a little further down the tower . My recommendation is not to book anything for dinning as they are expensive and also not meeting much of expectations when it comes to food quantity. It's better if you explore around the tower than in the tower. There's a bridge across which is a good view point for taking amazing pictures and also spending sometime and enjoying the view.

The Jardins du Trocadéro offer one of the most beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower, and it’s absolutely a spot you should see when in Paris. The perspective is iconic, the area is great for photos, and the atmosphere is lively without feeling overwhelming. If you go in the evening, you get an extra treat: the Eiffel Tower sparkles for five minutes every hour on the hour. Watching it light up from Trocadéro is a great experience and completely worth timing your visit around.
