Jasmine Boutique Hotel

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here in this charming hotel in Chiang Mai . The area is quiet and peaceful , yet not too far out from the city centre . There is a mini Big-C store and 7-11 nearby , alongside a market called Kad Kom market . In the evening time , there are many food stalls nearby the hotel on the same street at the Big-C and 7-11 - From skewered meat to Japanese Crepes , you can get a great supper fare just 2 mins walk away from the hotel . The staff is also attentive , and did a great job with our checking in and cleaning of rooms . The room has everything you need , cold fridge , good bed , heated shower and an overhead shower . We enjoyed our pleasant stay here and highly recommend it !

The hotel is like a house being renovated for hotel but it's very old a bit scary. However, the room quite big just that not comfortable and recommend.

Aesthetics and space is ok but geyser doesn’t work, smelly bedsheets and blanket. No staff understands English, nobody to ask for help after 8pm

This was the perfect base for exploring the old town. Our deluxe twin room was comfortable and larger than expected - it had separate bedroom and sitting room plus a furnished front deck, so we could spread ourselves out. We were offered a choice of ground floor or 3rd floor and chose ground floor, which ended up being perfect with kids, as the pool was literally right outside our front door. If you’re more interested in quiet and privacy than easy access to the pool, you might prefer a higher floor. The pool area is much nicer than shown in the photos - it’s surrounded by plants and deck chairs and there’s a nice wooden lounge area with cushions. The location is close to markets, north and east gates, historical museums and Wat Chiang Man. There’s a Mexican restaurant on-site serving tasty local interpretations of tacos etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again - very comfortable and excellent value for money.

Staff very friendly and helpful, room good size and very clean. Pool was cleaned every morning. Location is good as close to many restaurants and sightseeing. We found MD Boutique Hotel was not noisy at night and plenty of Baht Bus would drive on the street so easy to get a ride

Jasmine is located in a quiet part of the old city. Don't worry about noise day or night. There are simple restaurants, street carts and convenience stores in the immediate area. ||||A delicious welcome drink (some sort of unusual purple juice) is given. ||||Our deluxe rooms were very large and clean. There was ample storage and a surprisingly large refrigerator. The mattress was firm but not rock hard like some we had in Thailand. Daily cleaning service is provided. The baths were very clean and nicely sized. The lavatory has hot water--we found most during our three-week visit had only cold. The A/C worked flawlessly and quietly. Our room had a nicely sized corner balcony. ||||Breakfast is at extra cost and you must give the time you want to be served on the evening before. (This may not always be true as I believe there were very few guests with no others having breakfast.) There is a small menu with both western and Thai selections. We all enjoyed our breakfasts.||||While the description says, "free public parking" there is actually free private parking just behind the hotel. ||||The staff was helpful and friendly and most spoke at least basic English. Our rental car had a battery problem (a dead cell) and they helped us get a jump-start and to contact the rental company for repair.||||Accommodation in Chaing Mai is rather expensive by Thai (and Cambodian) terms. I searched long to find a nice, clean place at modest price. We were not disappointed and would gladly return. ||||Mosquitoes are a way of life in Thailand and we definitely killed a few in our rooms and suffered some bites while sleeping. Fortunately these are not the hideous little mosquitoes found in the Mediterranean area that cause insane itching that sends many people running to the pharmacy for some kind of relief. Bring/buy insect repellent and use it frequently--particularly in the morning and evening!||||Mosquito netting would be a very nice and well-appreciated inclusion.

We very much enjoyed our week-long stay at the Jasmine Hotel. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a bigger room, which was spacious and full of good basic amenities. The bathroom offered soap, shampoo, shower caps and q-tips. Water, tea and coffee were also available in the room. The bed was comfortable and the entire room was very clean. However, the walls are very thin and every time our neighbors were having an argument or watching TV, we'd hear them loud and clear. The laundry service is very convenient and affordable. While it's a 15-minute walk into the center of Chiang Mai, there are many food options nearby and multiple convenience stores to buy snacks or toiletries. There is not much variety to the breakfast options, but the overall food was very good. I would consider staying here again on another trip to Chiang Mai.

It's quite away from the city. There's a Lotus Supermarket and 7-11 nearby. The room is the biggest I've seen in Thailand and for the price, it's a good deal.
