The hotel itself was ok, but the dining experience at the restaurant is only commendable if you choose Thai dishes. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired; some staff members appeared quite unhappy while attending to guests. The most frustrating aspect of our stay was the lack of air conditioning for one night. We struggled to sleep for most of the night, and while maintenance attempted to fix the issue the following day, we received no apologies or compensation for the inconvenience, even after we inquired about it at checkout. Overall, the handling of this situation was disappointing and did not meet our expectations..

We were picked up at the airport and treated to cool drink during our easy check in. The deluxe sea view rooms are Thai style and beautiful. The beds huge and soft. The bathroom is lovely with a stand alone bath and a seperate rainfall shower. The view from the balcony is amazing especially in the evening. The staff really make this hotel. They are really polite and friendly. Fern on the main desk answered all our questions and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. The pool isnt huge but fine for the size of the hotel and being an infinity pool it felt as though you were on the beach. The hotel is right next to a lovely beach. While we were there the sea was flat and like a warm bath. Small fish were swimming around our feet. The breakfasts were really good. Plenty of choice every day with European and Thai dishes and lots of fresh fruit. I would thoroughly recommend fhis hotel. I will go back there when I return to Koh Samui

Stayed here based on reviews but for the price/ quality its probably better to stay somewhere else. The rooms are ok, the things that are aesthetically pleasing turn out to be a problem. The bathroom door has a glass sliding panel which was heavy and loud. The control panel for lights, didn’t really help as only one person could operate it. Breakfast was the worst we’ve had in Thailand. A buffet of very poor and little choice.

Very nice room, comfortable bed, however noisy beach location next to a music bar / club (won't be able to read or sleep at the beach during the day - 100dB loud music non stop), not mentioning this hotel adding its own music 🤯 terrible mix! Not for peaceful beach holiday... Breakfast buffet very limited, poor value for money...

Jasmine Resort is a fantastic place to stay. The staff are superb. All the services around the resort function as they should. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

We stayed at Samui Jasmine in March 2025. We picked the hotel based on all the positive views but can't understand why people like this hotel. We had SO many issues and would never stay again. -The pool has so much green algae it's totally unusable. No one should swim because it's so gross. -The beach is covered in garbage so you can't walk barefoot. -The ocean has so much garbage floating in the waves we didn't even swim. My friend is part fish and is normally in the water all day but we couldn't use the algae-pool and didn't want to swim in the ocean with all the garbage. There is no reason Jasmine can't hire someone to clean up the beach and the water given how much we paid for the room. They could hire a few people actually. -The AC in the room barely worked. When we arrived it was 28 degrees and by the time we left the next morning, 16 hours later, it had only cooled to 24 even though we set it to 22. It never cooled below 23 during our 3 day stay. -The glass (slider) doors to the patio are old and were rattling and knocking so much from even the slightest breeze it would have been unbearable and unacceptable. Thankfully, I figured out I could drag the heavy wooden chair and push it up against the glass doors to quiet the noise. We could even hear the doors next door. -The neighbors can see into your room from their patios so there isn't a lot of privacy if you are trying to change clothes or rest. -The bathroom door is old and heavy and a slider which is really inconvenient and also wakes the other person up in the middle of the night. -Jasmine claims they are eco-conscious but the two water bottles they provide are (disposable) plastic which isn't ideal. -They have an elevator but it's so old it seems unsafe. -It appears they allow smoking in some rooms and a neighbor was smoking and it filled our room and was horrible. -The sink doesn't plug so it's impossible to wash any small clothes. *A few positive things: the location is easy walking distance to the night market. The landscaping / plants are very nice. The provide a nice fruit juice upon arrival and a small bowl of whole fruit in the lobby. -The negatives far outweighed the positives. For the rate we paid, we were shocked at how disappointing Jasmine was, and would never stay again. They could make some easy improvements (see all above) to make the stay much nicer. Not being able to use the pool or ocean were unacceptable and really disappointing at Samui Jasmine. We stayed in 3 other hotels during our 2 week stay in Thailand and all three other hotels were cheaper and much nicer.

Great location, staff was very nice. I have to praise the breakfast and room cleaning. Room was little outdated but still above average. We had 2 beach towels and bags in the closet to use, as well as beach dress for ladies. The only thing I did not like was dirty beach. Also the waves were high and strong (it was march) we had to go to another beach (crystal) for swimming. But that of course is not the hotel's fault 🙂 Btw, your pinacolada at the beach bar was the best I've ever had 😁

This was our second visit to this wonderful oasis in paradise.||From check-in to check-out, nothing has been too much trouble for the superb staff at the Jasmine.||The buffet breakfast is the best start to the day possible, with a wide selection of food to choose from. We liked the array of fresh fruit.||Most days were spent laying by the pool or by the sea edge. Plenty of beds were available each day.||Lunches and Dinners are varied and all cooked fresh and, while similarly priced to what you can find in town, are of a much higher standard. ||Big shout to Rain, who kept us hydrated with beers and cocktails. Meh, Dear, Mod and all the other serving staff looked after us like we were family. Our room was cleaned and serviced daily by the ever smiling ladies (sorry I didn't know their names)||Heartily recommend this hotel, right by the beach at Lamai x
