Josh Johnson’s Grub Street Diet

"Started the day with a Texas Style Spud that was an absolute behemoth — a to-go tray barely containing a potato piled high with cheese, meats and butter, exuding barbecue beef, sauce and cheddar aromas. The portion was overwhelmingly large and satisfying, though the first bite burned his mouth and temporarily muted the flavors." - Britina Cheng, Maanvi Kapur

Google
Loves this! Very nice items and super awesome salad bar! Sadly, I had to get salad or something else each at a different time (that is, if they don't let you have the salad bar after finishing your plate, which I'm not sure if that's true), because paying for both at a time would cost me too much at a time, and also combined might be too much for my stomach. But anyway, pesto sandwich & pasta were nice, and they also have a very amazing salad bar! ^///^

Google
This was my first time trying this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. My sandwich was made with care. The staff were attentive and friendly. I will definitely return to try out other menu items.

Google
Clean, fresh, and awesome experience at this restaurant! We enjoy eating the managers special which is a sandwich and a side of soup or salad of your choice. We love the deli clubs, California clubs, salads and ice creams from Jason's!

Google
We went to this place for the first time with a group of friends and was very pleasantly surprised. The personnel were attentive and kind and the food was really good. I had the BLT sandwich with avocado. The bread was tasty and crunchy, the lettuce and tomato were fresh and the avocado was a very nice addition. For the price and quality, I have a hard time thinking of a better option. And I see the owners answer Google reviews! You have a new client :)

Google
Good visit. I ordered to bring to my hotel a Grand Reubens and excellent holiday. Fast and very helpful care. I left in 5 minutes with an excellent sandwich. There is also free ice cream and it can be to take 🍦😊 100% recommended

Patrick C.

Google
The food is always great and the salad bar looks fresh, and the free ice cream is always a plus. The seating area is clean and TV's on the wall for entertainment. My only wish is they turn the AC temperature up. Every time I eat there I feel like I'm eating in the Arctic with Polar Bears and Penguins. Make sure to bring a light jacket or sweater if you get cold easily.

Google
I ordered a salad and came with chicken. Most places chicken is an add on, here you have to specifically say no chicken which seems backwards. Feel like I was overcharged and after speaking to the manager it was remade. I was looking forward to the free ice cream but of course they were out of chocolate.

Google
I ordered the manager special which was a half sandwich (Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich) and chips with one side and I got the potato salad. The sandwich was excellent and more than enough. I like more mustard in my potato salad and asked for mustard packets and it made it just like I like it.

Yelp
35 minutes to make a salad to go. Piss poor. Asked for a manager and was told they were unavailable. I'll go to Grapevine from now on

Yelp
Most of the food was good. What disappointed was the Sicilian Sandwich that was supposed to include Giardinier, a mixture of pickled vegetables and peppers. They just put some overly hot jalapeno slices on the sandwich and called it a day. It was awful. I pulled the peppers out and took the sandwich back to the counter. Happily I asked them to put the mayo on the side. I didn't use it. The guy was polite, informed me that Giardinier means those peppers. (I googled it, that's not right, which I already knew). He offered me something else, but I told him how to fix my sandwich. He did his best. I asked for a dill pickle. He put big fat slices out of a package on it. (Sigh). The other thing I have to say is the bathroom is so badly designed. The commode is pushed up against the humongous toilet paper holder so that you cannot really sit on it correctly and then it's a struggle to get any toilet paper. If you're going to eat at Jason's deli make sure you go to the bathroom somewhere else first. And I would stay away from that Sicilian sandwich. But the salad bar was good. They could maybe get some new trays cuz those trays are looking pretty grubby. I know they came out of the dishwasher and they were sterilized but still it's kind of off-putting.

Yelp
I get lunch to-go from here about twice a week. Always a great chicken club salad! The to-go counter lady is so nice and helpful! Great lunch spot!

Yelp
Horrible service at the NEW NRH location. While the children run the Deli playing on cell phones and losing brand new potential customers. Where is the manager ? Good luck Jason's Deli your off to a bad start in NRH

Lori S.

Yelp
The manager and staff at Jason's Deli in Bedford are my super heroes! I recently neglected to place a catering order for a business lunch for 45 people. Called Jason's just before 10:00 am for lunch that was needed at 11:30 am...delivered. The young lady taking my order took a moment to give her manager the heads up and I heard him call out "All Hands On Deck!". They somehow managed to get everything I needed delivered on time and assisted with the set up!! I was truly amazed and so very grateful! Of course, the food was great, as always, and I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond, and delivered with smiles and encouraging words! I'm a huge fan and will continue singing their praises!

Yelp
My favorite item here is the salad bar with fresh items and nice choices. Lots of topping items, cute bread treats, and a good variety of dressings. Staff was very friendly and it was a quiet place to catch up with friends. Reasonable prices for good quality. I also love their huge baked potatoes! You could split one for sure! Don't forget the soft serve ice cream!

Yelp
I'm updating my review to five stars because they've really stepped up their to go game. Maybe they got better at curbside too, but we've been going in to pick up the last few orders. Works much better. If you're looking at that picture of the salad and thinking, dang, that new handcrafted Ultimate BLT Bowl looks amazing, you'd be right on that. Probably one of the best salads I've ever had. I ordered it with exactly how it comes, with salsa for the dressing (their salsa is not spicy but has amazing flavor, like restaurant salsa but child friendly). I added Jet's ranch (the pizza place) but Jason's does have good ranch. I'm probably going to order this salad a few more times this week. There were just enough interesting things in the salad, like bacon and avocado, but without feeling unhealthy. I normally hate pickled onions but theirs were so good, and the bowl wouldn't have worked as well without them. I also ordered a fruit cup and requested no strawberries if possible, so it came with only pineapple and grapes. Absolutely perfect, exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend giving this Jason's Deli location a try, whether you have in the past or haven't been yet. Their food is just seriously good, the fruit is fresh, salads are crisp, excellent all around.

Yelp
So much more than a deli. First time at a Jason's Deli was a hit. So much to choose from and they have a salad bar too! Pro tip: get the managers special, half sandwich and a fruit cup, salad or cup of soup. We ordered The Grand Ruben mgr special with fruit, half Turkey sandwich with fruit, and the Beefeater roast beef sandwich lighter portion. Plus... Free Ice Cream!

Yelp
I have always had a good experience at this location and just realized I hadn't reviewed them yet. My husband and I usually come in during our weekday lunch breaks since the service is pretty fast and the food is good. The place is what you would expect for a deli - fresh food, clean environment and a healthy level of people catching up over a meal. So while it's not a quiet place, it's definitely not too loud to have a conversation. So we usually order the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich because it's delicious but my husband also previously tried a Manager special turkey wrap with a side of fruit. I haven't tried the salad bar at this location but always say I'll try it next time... maybe I will! I love the little soft serve cone you can get after your meal - the perfect way to wrap up lunch!

Yelp
We would like to give Celeste, the manager of our local Jason', a commendation! As we walked in we could feel a difference from other times we had visited. We noticed the young woman at the cash register was extremely pleasant and seemed to have a noticeable manner about her that catered to the customer. When she waited on us I asked if she was the manager. Yes. As we dined we noticed she was busy about the restaurant making sure everything was nest and in order. She was making ready for the dinner crowd. The restaurant was much more in order than in other times we visited, which made it more desirable for us to return!! We give Celeste the highest commendation for a job well done! Our evening to dine was Wednesday, 9/25/24.

Yelp
Went in to order Togo and ordered a sandwich and a Caesar salad and when we got to the car we realized they had given us a chicken club salad instead We went in to fix it and they were very apologetic quick to give us the right order and also gave us some free bread! Would eat here again

Yelp
Great tasting food. Quick order and pickup time. Friendly staff. I will be back, recommend the Reuben and Shelly's chic sandwich
google avatar

Yelp
The menu is huge with so many good choices. Ordering is easy and they make the sandwich in front of you. The salad bar is fresh with so many choices. You get a free small soft serve ice cream cone for dessert. Highly recommend!

Yelp
most recent visit (aug 8) we ordered a small potato (butter only) and salad bar. When waiting for potato, i looked at receipt and they charged 8.59 for small. (an employee is the one who told me in the past, to order small w/butter instead of plain jane butter only) it was less expensive. ) My husband went back for more salad and was told, "only one visit." NO ONE said only one trip when we ordered. NO signs anywhere saying one trip (it wasn't that way when there in june) Girl even asked manager to confirm that this was the case. We won't be going back to jason's anymore. $25. for 2 drinks and what i mentioned above. (and i get inflation but this was more than that)
google avatar

Yelp
The salad bar is a joke very few options. The pasta and potato salad were the most disgusting thing I've ever had! On the thing was even good was the ranch dressing! Complete waste of money could have got a better salad at a gas station!
google avatar

Penny L.

Yelp
Staff was great even tho we got there shortly before closing. Got the potato soup for a family member admitted to the hospital. He said it was really good. Also found out that they have gone back to the regular salad bar. Not just the one trip like I've read in other reviews. Definitely going back.

Yelp
I feel like I've been having Jason's Deli A LOT recently... helps that they have speedy delivery and carry-out. Last week I picked up an order and they were selling loaves of bread, eggs by the dozen, bottled water, desserts, and a few other groceries for those in need of essentials. They also have a bunch of family meal bundles you can purchase that are affordable and convenient and delicious, because Jason's Deli is delicious! I have a handful of favorite items here. Sometimes I'm in the salad bar mood (not really during covid-19), but JD does have a rad salad bar... sometimes I want a baked potato, so I get half a Plain Jane (comes with butter, sour cream, bacon, cheese, and is enormous despite being 1/2 a potato... where do these potatoes come from?!?!). Sometimes I want a sandwich and soup! They have gluten-free bread and my faves are the California Club, Amy's Turkey-O, and Shelley's Deli Chick (chicken salad). Lately I've been on a chicken salad kick... why is it so good?? Mayonnaise. And of course, I'm almost always in the mood for a cup of tomato basil soup. This stuff is so amazing, thick (it might be a bisque?), creamy, and super delicious. So much flavor, great every time, and probs my favorite tomato soup around. Jason's Deli is a consistent family favorite. They even have gluten free chicken nuggets.

Yelp
Owner reached out and wanted to send a gift card. I just want my money back. The owner then reached out and wanted my credit card number. Huh? You can review the transactions and refund my money. Why would I give a stranger my credit card number over the phone? I emailed back and never heard back. Contested it with my credit card company and they told me that the owner never responded back to them to issue a refund. Not sure why they couldn't just refund my money just like every business can do. I just won't be back due to quality of food. Lesson learned.

Yelp
Jason's gumbo was exactly what I needed this evening. Service was prompt and there was ample parking.

Yelp
Wow, just wow. I've never been to a Jason's Deli and my husband was excited to go! This place was awesome! Our cashier, Christopher, was SUPER helpful and nice. Answered all our questions and made great recommendations. I got the manager's special with a turkey wrap add bacon and broccoli cheddar soup - DELICIOUS! And my husband got the muffaletto which he loves. Christopher even brought our food to us and made sure everything was to our liking. SO GOOD!

Lila C.

Yelp
The food was really fresh with a large variety of menu items. The salad bar was exceptional, fresh a lot of healthy choices. Homemade cornbread and gingerbread muffins were a nice touch. The food was prepared quickly, warm, to order by friendly helpful staff in a clean atmosphere. The prices were good.

Yelp
Placed a large online order for pickup for my family today. It was easy to look through the online menu for ordering. It was done relatively quick and we were pleasantly surprised that our entire order was completely accurate. The temperature of everything was perfect. It also tasted really good. The location was clean and the staff was friendly. We will certainly be getting food from here again.

Yelp
I'm impressed and pleased with Jason's Deli's response and changes during COVID-19 and I hope the curbside delivery option remains permanent. Many grocery and general stores were offering curbside delivery for everyday essentials and food while most casual restaurants allowed you to order online and walk in to pick up. Over the past few months, walking into restaurants hasn't been an easy option or a feasible option sometimes even when I really wanted to get something to go from a restaurant. You'd think it's easy to pop in the store really quick and grab your order, but it's not so easy when you have a baby and you're on your way home from something and need to grab a meal really quick. It's a terrible option to walk into the restaurant when your child is immunosuppressed and you don't want them or even yourself exposed to random germs. So even during normal non-pandemic times, it would have been nice to have the curbside option. Now that this pandemic going on I have been living it up going to all my favorite restaurants along with new ones to get curbside. Now my child is healthy so we could have actually walked in, but do you know how much it takes to get a baby in and out of a car seat on a hot day?! Jason's Deli has been great and fast at delivering food to our car. And the food has been consistently good. I hope this environment is shining a light on people who were already living the quarantined life or even parents with small children who had to pass up on the restaurant order because they didn't want to have to walk into the store. Curbside delivery is an opportunity for businesses, especially restaurants, to get more customers that can't or prefer not to come into the restaurant.

Yelp
So many updates, so little time. When I say I had a hankering for a big juicy Jason's Deli salad today boy do I mean it! This one made the cut as one of the best yet. First of all I just want to commend this location on how clean and pristine they are! I have never seen a Jason's Deli so clean in my life. They are following all protocol practically to a T. I love to see it! You pretty much have to check in before even approaching the salad bar to make sure you are good to go with anti covid gear. The veggies and everything basically were stocked to the brim and did not look as picked over as usual. I grabbed an ice cream cone (again with the check in, cones are no longer self serve) and ice cream on my way out and was good to go. I left there with a confidence in restaurants like this that I haven't had in quite a while. It's obvious they are doing the best they can to ensure cleanliness at this establishment. So, thank you for that! I can't wait to go back the next time I want to load up my Jason's salad with fresh mushrooms and red onions. I know. My two obsessions.
google avatar

Brenda A.

Yelp
This was in my salad. Normally I would not post here , I try to take this up with a manager but a simple sorry do you want another one just doesn't cut it. This is gross , so just check your salad before you dive right in

Kay A.

Yelp
GREAT, GREAT salad bar!!! I love it. I keep thinking of reasons to go that way so I can visit. I would like to try other things, but I just can't pass up the salad!!
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered what i thought to be a 2 bowls of soup and a sandwich. Along with other items to my families order. The kids pizza turned out great. And the self serve salad was great as well. When the food came. It came with a grilled cheese sandwich and a clay pot of seafood gumbo. I asked the gentleman that served the food if this was a bowl of soup. And he said no that it should come in a bowl. So I went to change it. They placed it in a bowl and added a little more to fill the bowl. Now I'm let her know I'm still missing the bowl of tomato soup. So she serves it to me in the small clay pot. As I tell her it's suppose to be a bowl. She tells me it's the same thing and just dumps it in a bowl and hands it to me. That's when I decided that the food was not worth the attitude from her to tell me that the clay pot is the same size as the bowl. So they refunded me the cheese and tomato order. Honestly it's all about the delivery and the care to the customer that was lacking in this place.

Yelp
I came here, walking a good distance for lunch (about a mile and a half). I was staying in a nearby hotel and always enjoy Jason's deli when I have the opportunity to go to one. This one was no different. Very clean, friendly service. I arrived pretty much at opening time (10 am) and waited outside for a while before they actually opened the doors. Eventually several of us waiting outside went in through the take out door and got inside. Usually I just go to the salad bar kiosk, order a salad and drink and am on my way. This kiosk couldn't read my card or cards, and so frustrated I ordered at the counter. Not really a big deal, but knock off a star for that. If you have it, it should work. I digress. The salad bar has good fresh options, some kale quinoa salad, hummus, olives, pepperocinis, and the standard fare you'd expect. I enjoyed several trips to the salad bar, mixing and matching what I craved, and how I like it. The exchange of plates was easy (exchange a dirty plate for a clean one each time to the buffet) and was always quick. However my plates stacked up on my table through my meal, despite ample servers and wait staff in the early start of the day. Knock off another star for that fact. They appeared to care more about the prep for the to go orders then the patrons in the restaurant. I enjoyed the meal, but the lack of detail to both service and ease of visit took some stars off.

Tammy T.

Yelp
I frequently order from Jason's as they are close to my office and my home. They typically do a good job with my orders but today I ordered a Southwest Bowl and asked for salsa and onions to be added (for which I am willing to pay for) and I got neither. So, I'm left with a mediocre tasting bowl for which I paid an above average price imo. Pretty disappointing. .
google avatar

James W.

Yelp
Maxing them out at 5 Stars !!! Had the Southwest Chicken Chili and it was very delicious. Their seafood gumbo is very good, and their chili is as well, but the Southwest Chicken Chili was most excellent, with just a little kick of spiciness. As with both of the other mentioned meals, you've got to get some bread and start mopping it up. Barely used a spoon at all, a must try. Worthy of a bookmark and a try.

Yelp
Great salad bar. Nice selection of cool sandwiches for summer eats. Free soft ice cream to top off dinner.

Yelp
Service 'to go' can be horrible. If you are willing to take it without question or looking in the bag to make sure it's right, the food is good. Dealt with a lady named Alexia, or something like that scribbled in a name tag. I'd asked for fruit instead of chips. I saw her put in chips and when I asked about it she yelled that the receipt said chips. I explained I asked for fruit and she started to pull apart the order. She said I 'came at her'. Which surprised me, Her voice was raised to the level other workers and customers were looking at us. I made the mistake of trying to reason with her and it was clear I was in the wrong for asking for my order to be corrected. It's a shame I used to come here at least once a week to get a to go order for my grandmother in a nursing home. Now I'll have to find a different place to get soup and sandwich for her. No chips without being yelled at.
google avatar

Rosa H.

Yelp
I love this place they deliver, cater and are so awesome. I order and pick up food for my clients often. I'm quite surprised I haven't written a review for this location since I've used them for years. Today I wanted to make sure I did because they truly went above and beyond for me. I placed an order online for a different Jason Deli, smart I know, well the manager personally called the other location for me and got my tray to me fast. If that's not outstanding then I don't know what is! Food is fresh and amazing as always! My offices love the food and taste! They particularly love the California club or the Cowboy! If you are vegetarian I highly suggest the veggie wrap! I'm not vegetarian but I love it! You also can't go wrong with any of the soups or spuds! They have sweet potatoes too!
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
So it's my first time at Jason's deli, I order a sandwich and I was wanting a side of hummus but was told that a side of hummus is $7 and doesn't come with any veggies or pita bread to dip it in. Which I think is a total rip-off because who eats hummus by the spoonful? Well I get my sandwich and I open the bag and I see that there's chips in it, which was rather frustrating. Had I known that I was receiving chips with my meal I would have gotten the hummus. I feel like I had a rather decent discussion with my cashier, letting them know that I was wanting hummus and something to dip it in. It would have been really nice had she let me know I had chips coming with my meal. And if there was a variety of chips that I could have chosen from that would have been nice to have known as well Not a good experience my first time
google avatar

Yelp
First let me say I love Jason's Deli as a chain. The following review is based on my sole experience with this location and may not be representative of this store's usual quality. However, first impressions matter and a bad first impression is often the last impression you will leave with a customer. I tend to get my same order, a manager's special with a plain hand sandwich and broccoli cheese soup, at every Jason's Deli I visit. I ordered one to go here with my wife (along with a meal for her). The young lady who took our order was not rude, but not very friendly either. After we ordered, we waited 30 or so minutes at a table next to the to go counter and no one ever called our name, so finally I went up and asked about it. The cashier said "Oh let me check." She went back and picked my order up off the shelf and handed it to me. It had been ready awhile, just no one called it out. We brought our food home, and aside from the whole meal being cold, my ham sandwich was the worst I have had from a Jason's Deli to date. The ham was gristly, and every other bite I couldn't chew. Normally, the ham is soft and literally melts in your mouth. There were a few positives though, thus the two stars. The restaurant was very clean, I like the location, and the free ice cream was delicious.

Yelp
Pretty clean place. Staff is pretty friendly. Came in for dinner and it wasn't too busy or anything. We were able to place our order right away. Salad bar was clean and veggies looked fresh. I did the pick 2- side salad from the salad bar and The Papa Joe Sandwich and my bf got the pick 2- chicken noodle soup and the California Club Sandwich. Food came out pretty quickly. Both sandwiches were good and big! I didn't even finish half my sandwich. Soup was flavorful. Only negative is that we were served a side of chips with our half Sandwich and it literally looked like they came from the bottom of the bag with lots of small pieces and crumbs. Of course I got my free ice cream after

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Be prepared to be treated like crap if you are someone who believes that you were born without a mask so you do not want to wear a hazmat suit to the salad bar. I asked for my money back when I found out mask and gloves! Denied!!! So all you people who have been duped over this BS virus need to do some research and listen to the 1000s of doctors telling you you have been lied to....so go here if you just LOVE your govt and businesses controlling you with fear over a virus with a 98% cure rate!! As for me...Jason's Deli can forget about all the people I have told ever coming in...

Yelp
The food is good, average fast-casual American. The service from managers, however, is sub-par at best -- and that's being generous. Alexis, in particular has a terrible attitude; she gets defensive, mocks customers and laughs about them to/with her employees. On one visit, the pastrami (which is typical amazing here) was tough. When brought to her attention, she got nasty and said "what do you want?" Asked for one remade sandwich and one refund, but surprised by her demeanor. When ordering a to-go sandwich for my dad tonight, we requested a pickle and a few extra. The cashier was very kind and tried to accommodate the request until Alexis told her "an extra pickle costs $0.15," then packaged the order without even one pickle. Once confronted she said "I didn't know she wanted a pickle," got nasty and laughed about it with about five other employees (including two youngish guys in plaid shirts, seemingly other managers). Will definitely be contacting the general manager directly, but personally never returning to this establishment, which I've frequented for at least 15 years. Disgusted by Alexis and her crew. Linda was awesome, as always.

Yelp
We love Jason's deli. We always go to the Grapvine location. This one is disappointing. We can see why not so many people go here. Dirty fork and wrong order.

Yelp
First, all customers hey complimentary mini muffins, pickles, and ice cream (all area serve yourself). I ordered a club sandwich for lunch, and it was delicious. Great ingredients, freshly prepared, and all employees were polite and friendly. I recommend. I only wished they had baklava.....

Yelp
We used to like eating at Jason's Deli, but it's clear that corporate doesn't care about customer satisfaction or feedback. If the front of restaurant looks like this (see pictures), I can only imagine how disgusting the back of the house, food prep areas look. Update: I called and spoke with the Manager / Owner (Bill L) the next day and he didn't care to see the pictures and wasn't receptive to feedback about the condition of his restaurant. I sent an email to corporate and received an email from Customer Service that pics and comments were sent to the District Manager, Will S., and I never received follow-up from him either. Review sent to Corporate on 4/25/18: My children & I dined at the Jason's Deli in Bedford, TX last night (2200 Airport Freeway, #038). We've dined at other Jason's Delis, but this was our first visit to this location. We dined at 7pm, so the restaurant was less than half full. However, as customers left, the tables with plates of uneaten food remained on the tables. There were lots of staff behind the counter laughing and having a good time - not preparing food (as their were no regular customers coming through the door at that time). I took my daughter to the bathroom and both toilets were out of commission (both were clogged and there was wet toilet paper all over the floor). I let one of the boys behind the counter know that the bathroom needed attention. A few minutes later, we were getting ready to leave and I stopped by the counter and asked for the manager on duty. A woman stepped forward from talking to someone, Tiffany. I mentioned that I was the person that reported the bathrooms and her response was a curt "I know, I already cleaned the bathrooms." I then asked her about the state of the restaurant and all the dirty tables. She just shrugged her shoulders and stared at me vacantly. Attached are pictures of the tables towards the end of our dining at this location. There were 2 Hispanic women that were running the food and filling the salad bar. They remained busy all evening and those ladies hustled, however the rest of the staff spent their time behind the counter chatting and laughing loudly. It was clearly not a group effort. We've dined at the Grapevine location and had positive experiences, both with the salad bar remaining well stocked and the restaurant remained clean and picked up. This restaurant is a disgrace to the Jason's Deli brand. If this was our first time at a Jason's Deli, we would never return to one. I called and spoke with Bill LaValley, Managing Partner, this morning about our experience. I offered to send the pictures for him to view and he said it wasn't necessary and thanked me for calling then hung up. Hopefully, corporate has more interest in protecting their brand image.

Yelp
So I have been to Jason's Deli twice. If you love soup and salad, you will most likely enjoy this place. I love their chili! But their salad bar is amazing! There are a bunch of awesome options, pasta salad, hummus, potatoe salad, bacon bits (real bacon), cottage cheese, and eggs! They also give you a bigger cup for a side dish, they have this whip chocolate pudding, not my favorite, but they have the best banana pudding. Also, you get free ice cream cone, your choice swirl (my fav), chocolate or vanilla! Honestly some great options for soup and salad, I suppose it can get pricey, but my belly is always happy.

Yelp
I've always liked Jason's food, and the service is usually good. But if you order online, sometimes the quality control isn't even 75% there. Seems like most times when we order online there is something wrong or missing from my orders. Tonight I ordered a Sweet Potato with a cup of soup, but when I got home and saw what I got, it was a regular potato. I called back and asked if they still did them and was told that Sweet Potatoes aren't being done anymore.....but it is on the online ordering site plain as day. Just don't know why they couldn't have simply called and said they didn't do Sweet Potatoes anymore and asked what else we would like instead. Now I have to look like I don't trust them and go through the orders with a fine tooth comb in front of them because of it. I don't like that feeling, and shouldn't have to if they would just make sure the orders are 100% correct before the customer gets it.

Yelp
So far I've tried their Cali club on croissant bread (possibly the best sammich I've ever had), the beef stew which tastes very similar to mines, and their salad bar which has all my favorite toppings (mushrooms, bell peppers, broccoli, egg, cheese ect). I also crave their roasted pepper hummus! I'd eat this on everything if I could. They use quality, fresh ingredients which keeps me coming back for more.

Yelp
We used to come here so often and the food and environment was pretty good. We went back today during COVID and there were dirty tables EVERYWHERE and the floor was absolutely disgusting as it hadn't been swept is a LONG time. The service was not too good and they werent busy (there was maybe 4 orders in total when we were there) and nobody cleaned. They now have paper order numbers (okay, whatever) but the register person didnt tell us that they gave us one, and rolled it up under the receipt. It is ALWAYS cold in there, and I have seen them touch their hair and faces several times before making food....disgusting. at least wash your hands for God's sake!

Yelp
Yelp! has Jason's Deli under "Your Next Review Awaits"... you've checked in for times! Why do you keep coming back? Um, it's close They have kid's meal I can feed Bunny and not feel like a terrible parent Staff are always pleasant at this location, and super nice when Bunny makes a baby tornado But whyyyy Jason's Deli? Why you take my favorite item off the menu? Chicken salad wrap, with pineapple? WHY YOU DO ME LIKE THIS?!

Yelp
Customer Service is atrocious at this store and this is not one isolated incident. Several times, when picking up orders, the staff does not even acknowledge when customers walk through the door. A courteous "Hi, we'll be right with you" goes a long way and is basic customer service etiquette. Food will be placed on the shelf and staff & mgmt. do not check the order to see if the hot food is for the customer waiting for their order, much less acknowledge that a customer even exists. The last straw for me was placing a catering order for business and sending an email to heb@jasonsdeli.com to request a change/assistance and after 3 days of never receiving a response, I called and asked to speak to a manager. Alexis, the manager showed no sense of care or offered an apology. She just repeatedly stated "I never received the email" in a defensive manner. Her attitude and lack of care infuriated me even more. I then promptly asked her to cancel our order and that Jason's Deli lost a business customer and me as a customer. There are too many other restaurants in the DFW area that would be happy to have my business. I am done with Jason's Deli forever. Julia B.

Yelp
This place knows how to make the gumbo soup right! Ive gone to other Jason's Deli to get the soup and it was gross. The setting is nice, I go there and have lunch or dinner by myself. Very peaceful. All the soups they make are right on...no bitter nasty taste left in your mouth. They also give you a good amount of rice to go with your gumbo soup. Now ive noticed that they added okra. I dont really eat okra but its good in the soup.

Yelp
While the facility is larger than most, kids pizza came out with a nice long hair and they forgot about our soup. Yeck. But manager remade, apologized, very friendly and service oriented. Accidents happen and was resolved quickly. However, later found another hair in a sandwich. Appetite now ruined. Discusting...wear hair nets people. #ThisHairAintMines
