"Curry in the Canadian Rockies Jasper National Park recently received a solid boost to its tastebuds when Jasper Curry Place opened its doors. It's the first indian-inspired restaurant in Jasper and its been a booming success it opened its doors in June 2015. The lunch menu is a series of entress from Butter Chicken to Korma Masala, while the dinner is served buffet-style with a rotating selection of mains."

If you’re craving authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine in the heart of the Rockies, this place is a gem! The curries were rich and aromatic, the naan was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the service was warm and welcoming. We tried the butter chicken and paneer tikka masala—both were absolutely delicious. Portions were generous, and the spice levels were just right. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Jasper and looking for comfort food that hits the spot!

We had such a great experience at Jasper Curry Place. The all you can eat buffet was generous, fresh, and full of flavour across the board. As a vegan, I was genuinely impressed by how many plant-based options were available — and not just as an afterthought. Everything was clearly labelled, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. It’s not often you walk into a buffet and feel this well-catered for. There were also plenty of non-vegan dishes and a great selection of gluten-free options too, so it worked really well for our group with different dietary needs. Everyone left full and happy. The staff were warm and attentive, and the whole place had a relaxed, welcoming feel. We’ll definitely be back.

I usually love Indian food, but this all-you-can-eat spot was a huge disappointment. Almost every dish tasted oddly sweet—like I was eating dessert instead of flavorful Indian cuisine. The spices were missing, and the food lacked any real depth or authenticity. What made it worse was how they handled the buffet. As the dishes got low, instead of bringing out fresh food, they just tossed in more paneer (cheese) chunks into the gravy to make it look full. It felt lazy and honestly unappetizing. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food with real taste and spice, this is definitely not the place. No flavor, no care in the cooking—just bland, sugary sauces and filler ingredients. I won’t be coming back.

Came into Jasper Curry House for an early dinner on a wet day. Everything in the buffet was fresh and clearly labelled. The food was authentic and flavourful. Don't be put off by the rating in my opinion it is not deserved. Naan was cooked fresh and put on our table as we walked in. the masala tea was great. For a cost efficient and rounded lunch or dinner I would definitely recommend.

We happened to come across this restaurant while driving around Jasper and it was a delightful surprise. The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet was delicious! The food tasted home-made and it was obvious that it was cooked with care. The hostess was very friendly and service was quick. Will definitely come back!

I feel like the reviews should be better, we came in so late and they were gracious enough to stay open a bit later for us, they even made fresh naan and pakora for the table as the buffet had run out. The food was really delicious, authentic curries, not too oily and my tummy felt great the next day. Really lovely staff would definetly come back.

A great little place for Indian food in the beautiful town of Jasper. Their buffet turned out much better than I expected. The buffet choices were great. On the day I tried their buffet, they had 4 veg curries/lentils, 2 chicken options, 2 rice varieties, 1 bread option, 1 appetizer, 1 dessert and a few condiments. No conplaints on the main course choices, appetizer choice could have been more. Food tasted great! Their chai was great and refreshing too. We went there around 7pm on a Saturday and they were full. For a restaurant of their size, they seemed to be quite popular in the area. The manager helped us with a table as soon as ne was available and she was pretty nice to check in on us for some conversation later while we were there. All in all, a great choice with a good buffet!!

We had recently visited that restaurant and have dinner buffet it was absolutely tasteless, no flavour , naan was overcooked, butter-chicken made in tomato soup. The only thing i had was onion pakora and dahi. Other than that the $22 goes in waste. Do not recommend this for buffet at all.
