One of the cutest cafes I’ve ever been to. I totally loved the ambience of the place and even the food was great and decently priced considering the season.

Every item on my big breakfast was delish. Eggs perfectly cooked. Mini Cumberland sausage, bacon, etc, etc were all scrummy and the rarebit went down a treat and of course they are dog friendly. Staff were quick to take order and friendly. Even the music in background was perfect

Came here yesterday for breakfast, enjoyed it that much we came back today . I had the same as yesterday as it was so nice and my partner had the full English, definitely recommend and we will be back when we return to the lake district again

Breakfast with friends. A small but mighty breakfast menu, but we all had the full English breakfast. Two eggs, Cumberland sausage, two slices of bacon, beans, mushrooms, tomato and toast. Really good quality food, the sausage was delicious. Paired this off with a flat white. Not the fastest of food service, but the cafe was full even though it had just opened for breakfast. Very dog friendly and had some great desserts on the menu (didn't have any) Not a place if you're in a hurry, but great to catch up with friends whilst waiting for great food.

Dog friendly café. We came in for a late lunch and the café was about half full with all other customers already attended to. The café felt a bit dirty and tired. The staff were friendly but service was slow (we had to ask for our order to be taken even though the server was only tidying the bar area). Some items were sold out, food took a long time to come, considering it was just soup and a sandwich. Two customers who came in after us were served their food almost immediately. The food was bland, unimaginative and overpriced for what it was.

We arrived at around 9am and it was empty. Quick service and delicious drinks. Latte art made it even better! Breakfast was £11.00 and was great. Very happy. Decor was nice inside! Staff were friendly.

Went here twice over the weekend and had two very different experiences for takeaway drinks. First visit: Couple of seated customers in the cafe. Got takeaway drinks fast and efficiently. Second visit: (As enjoyed first visit). A few more seated customers in the cafe than on the first visit. Waited 10+ minutes to received takeaway drinks. Incredibly hot inside (Why not open the front door as it was cooler outside). Others seem to be having issues with orders too. Staff don't seem to know what they're doing when there are more than a few customers in the cafe. Shame. I guess I would have given 5 stars had I not gone back the second time and had a subpar experience.

Popped in for drinks and cake on a Friday afternoon. Very jolly and pleasant greeting from the staff. Four drinks and cakes came to just under £30, so about £7.50 per head. Plentiful selection of both drinks and cakes / scones to satisfy both sweet and savoury hunger. A very chilled and relaxed cafe, no urgency to rush us out the door once we'd finished. As the other reviews say, it is a very pet friendly place.

Yelp
Wandering along Station Street, came across Jaspers. Nice decor. Friendly service. Had a nice Americano and a very tasty Cumberland sausage sandwich- "The Hot Dog". Will definitely come again!
