It's great to see different cuisines emerging in the city. Java Bali Kitchen popped up at this location for a few weeks, and we decided to stop by and try it.
- Nasi Goreng: Loved the sweet heat on this dish. Good amount of shrimp, tasty fried rice, though the crackers were a bit limp.
- Beef Rendang: Tender strips of beef which were flavourly spiced.
- Satay Maranggi: My favourite dish, with its sticky sweet beef chunks.
- Corn Fritters: Nicely chewy, not overly oily on the fry.
- Jasmine Tea and Black Sumatran Coffee: Tea was refreshing, coffee was a bit muted.
Overall, enjoyed this Indonesian spot. Not sure where Java Bali will pop-up next, but will be sure to stop by.
