The ice cream is yummy but not the milky/creamy type. Definitely worth going in though! It’s also a funky gift shop. A fun place for everyone indeed.

Google
Great little spot. Good flavors for coffee, and their thing is the oatmeal. I recommend getting one full of toppings. Everything is good for food and drinks, but place should probably be cleaned up. All the tables are dirty in the back from previous customers.

Google
This was my first time having ice-cream in Utah. A single scoop (sea salt caramel) costed me around $6-7. The ice cream feels so mediocre and expensive. The worst part is that my sea salt caramel icecream had black currant in it (as seen in the first photo). This ice cream is nothing compared to what I have been having in Boulder/Denver. Customer service wasn't great either. The tables and chairs are sticky and dirty too.

Google
Pretty good ice cream, quick service and lots of toys to browse as you wait in line! The purple cow was pretty unique and tasty.

Google
Ran in here for a quick bagel and coffee. Simple options and self service with a toaster. Prices are fine and the people were nice. We weren't there for ice cream but looked like they had alot of options.

Google
I had the pistachio cream croissant, and it was the most amazing treat!! I visited the shop during my first visit to Park City, and it is part of my trip story! Wish I could have it every day!

Trudi Hatch

Google
Cute place. Lots of fun gadget gifts that are unique. I LOVE hot chocolate and stopped Here because of the reviews. I have to be honest. Not my favorite. I even ordered with cream and pretty bland. Not much cream flavor or chocolate flavor.

Melissa Butler

Google
Delicious coffee and tiramisu, with service that made us feel comfortable and welcome even close to closing. We will definitely be coming again!

Allison S.

Yelp
A store with it all! One side is a bakery and the other is ice cream. They give two free samples when ordering. They also have lactose free options. I went with a single scoop of Sami Dees flavor, which was heath bar and chocolate chips. They also have a mini size for a smaller option! They also accept cash.

Conner P.

Yelp
Three different coffee ice creams but the best of all was the Chocolate Monster!! Don't miss it.

Yelp
I have been Parkite for 30years and have always loved Java Cow. This morning I had the pleasure of tasting the Pistachio Croissant, it's next level delicious. Give it a try. Secondly, the staff is Fantastic

Ryna D.

Yelp
While strolling around town we popped in here to have some ice cream. Unfortunately it was mediocre at best. I'd skip it if I were you.

Yelp
Finding breakfast in Park City on a Sunday morning is near-impossible. When we were about to give up, we came across Java Cow Coffee-not the sit down place we were hoping for, but at least there wasn't a line out the door. In addition to coffee and smoothies, they have a modest menu of breakfast items. We were happy with a bowl of oatmeal and a crepe-even at ridiculous high prices. That's to be expected in Park City, I suppose. While you're here, pick up a souvenir or gag gift-there's plenty of those to be had.

Angela L.

Yelp
1. The Sunday I ordered didn't have much to it for the price. 5 more dollars for whip cream and nuts isn't worth it. 2. My total cost was 13. When the tip screen came up, the first option was 3 dollar tip??????? 10 percent of 13 is not 3. I think they rigged their machine for bigger tips. 3. Some big piece of something was in our chili from our party.

Spencer C.

Yelp
Paid around 18.50 for an ice cream Sunday with an 18% tip. Really great flavor in the ice cream. Probably around 20 choices to choose from. Fun atmosphere surrounded by a lot of shops. Good amount of ice cream for 2 people. We had salted caramel, strawberry, and Oreo. Comes in a throw away plastic dish.

Yelp
Popped in to get a drink, dessert, and breakfast for tomorrow. The young women working were not friendly or helpful. We ordered the blueberry lavender lemonade and it tasted very watered down. We each got a macaron. My son enjoyed his lavender rose, but mine was very tough with a melted filling and tasted like I was eating pure sugar. The Tiramisu was also very sweet and missing the balance between sweet cream and espresso. We bought a quiche and croissant to take home for breakfast tomorrow. The person waiting on us put the quiche in the microwave, she never asked if we wanted it heated. Prices were extremely high for what we received. The store is overloaded with items...overall disappointed.

Nika Y.

Yelp
Small coffee shop.. The bakery goodies were yummy and fresh . The lattes has a lot of different varieties of flavor.

Jack T.

Yelp
Éclairs are IT at this place. I had two in one day. Off the bat, we stumbled in here by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of offerings. We got an eclair and a croissant for $14 and took it on our way. Visited for a sweet treat after dinner as they are open until 9PM. After 4PM you can get 2 for 1 on select pastry's which is a great bit of knowledge. Coffee in the picture is from somewhere else (pink elephant).

Alexis R.

Yelp
We stopped in for a cold drink and as it was rather busy we ordered quickly without exploring the menu. I did enjoy my iced tea but felt on a rather busy weekend there could've been more staff.

Anonymous A.

Yelp
All the desserts solely tastes of sugar and had no other redeeming qualities, would not recommend

Mike C.

Yelp
Strange decor but it is a cow. Place has an eclectic display of products for sale. One side pastries, crepes and waffles. The other side ice cream. And knick knacks for sale throughout. My party enjoyed the ice cream. I did not. I sampled a few flavors and opted for vanilla bean. I know basic. But the flavor was weak. Hardly tased vanilla. Strange texture. It creamy but somewhat gummy? Anyway not good in my book. And the place is filthy. It doesn't get cleaned up during the day and suspect not much gets done after closing. Service was done by a few teenagers from HS am guessing. Did t seem like they cared much scooping ice cream or taking care of the place. But dang if there was not a line entire time we were there. I won't be eating here again but it's the only ice cream spot in town.

David P.

Yelp
Cool little spot in the heart of Main Street, with lots of options and 'trinkets'. Definitely worth seeing and stoping by for a crepe or some ice cream, but unfortunately, my wife & I both thought the coffee (we had vanilla lattes) was pretty bad. They had a lot of cool little toys and fun little finds that our kids loved and we enjoyed seeing. We went back twice for those and for the ice cream. Service was ok, but not the friendliest. Especially not from the young guys behind the ice cream counter. The lines for coffee were very long and quite slow. I wish I could say it was worth it, or even mediocre, but I'd be lying. Pricing was also (relatively) very high for what you're getting, but that's the advantage they have, given their location. All in all, I'd definitely go back for the trinkets & the ice cream, but no chance at all for the coffee (which is ironic, given their name...).

Bailee W.

Yelp
The ice cream here is some of the best I've ever had! I went here for my birthday after walking around Downtown PC all day and it didn't disappoint, as always. The staff can be kinda indifferent to your presence, but I worked in customer service so I get it, not everyone has the best day at work all the time. The shop is always clean, and while they don't offer samples, I always know whatever I get will be delicious.

Isaac R.

Yelp
The ice cream in this area is delicious! It was chilly, but it didn't matter how chilly it was; it was worth it. Be patient, because it gets busy but is worth the wait. The place looks funny, but it's a good place to get ice cream.

Traci E.

Yelp
Getting an ice cream treat here is always a treat. Lots of flavors to choose from which is especially great if you have a group with differing likes. This visit I choose coffee in a sugar cone. Rich, creamy and delicious! The perfect treat!

Natasha L.

Yelp
Every time we are in Park City, we enjoy ice cream, souvenirs and the friendliest service. This place never disappoints!

Pamela W.

Yelp
Nice little ice cream shop in the middle of Park City! Not the best ice cream we're ever had but still pretty good with friendly staff!

Brenda L.

Yelp
Five minutes after arriving on Main Street in Park City, I walked into this darling store because it was near where my car was parked. Without checking the price, I ordered a large speciality coffee drink (price not posted). The Manager made a point of ending a prolonged and uncomfortable conversation by mentioning how much the drink cost ($8.25) in direct relation to making a value judgement about me. The jist of the conversation was that the business model of the coffee side of the store precluded a basic knowledge of coffee preparation, questions were deemed condescending, and his analogy to their preparation strategy was Starbucks. The drink was bitter, and it did color my first impression of the Main Street, while on my quest to relax after driving 8 hours that day.

Yelp
Great local ice cream + service - - - - - - - - November, 2022 Visit For Thanksgiving we visited Park City, UT and had a great time. One night our daughter wanted ice cream, and after a quick Yelp search we had our coats on and were walking uphill the 0.3 miles to Java Cow. Java Cow serves coffee, breakfast food (looks good), sells many items (including "silly soap" with themes like PBS painter Bob Ross, Star Trek's Dr. Spock, etc.), annnnd ice cream, made locally. Our daughter enjoyed a waffle cone with one scoop of blackberry with white and dark chocolate chunks, and another scoop of Graham Canyon - graham cracker-flavor... and our son and I enjoyed the local cherry ice cream. Friendly server - thanks! ----- ----- -----

Melanie B.

Yelp
S'mores Ice cream = Goooood. Someone's hair stuck in my waffle cone = Baaaaad. Bummer. Threw it away. I guess I saved myself some calories.

Tim D.

Yelp
Ice cream is really great. The store with all the toys is fun while waiting in line. The location is right in the middle of main st which is convenient.

Daisy R.

Yelp
Yummy treat after Shotski! Chocolate peanut butter shake, root beer float and gluten free banana bread!! Yum!!

R M.

Yelp
I come for the crepes! They're expensive but the portions are generous and can serve two. The cafe has a traditional selection of drinks. The other side is ice cream - lots of flavors to choose from but nothing spectacular. This place employees kids and young adults so don't expect fast or above-beyond service. Most everything is sticky in this place. You need to pay attention to your order because the staff won't go looking for you - the layout inside is tight so avoid having unnecessary people/strollers in the store. Seating inside is very limited so consider coming at non-peak or order something you can eat while walking. On a nice day, there are plenty of places to sit around town.

Jaimee B.

Yelp
I really liked this whimsical ice cream parlor / grocery / souviner store / quick bites spot! The ice cream parlor part of it had quite the variety to select from and I thought my honey lavender was tasty! The decor was so funny, eapecially the vents and pipes!

Christina D.

Yelp
any time i'm up in park city, i make a stop at java cow, check out the cool banksy artwork on the side of the building, & enjoy an ice cream. everything always tastes fresh & the vibe in here is so good. a must-do in pc!

Justine S.

Yelp
Cute spot on Main Street for a quick break from the heat to grab a treat. They have a few novelty gifts that are fun to browse, an ice cream shop on one side, and a coffee place on the other side. We got some ice cream for my daughter, one kid scoop and a specialty cone for almost $8-seems a little steep. The place is ran by high school aged kids, which makes it a fun vibe-they we're courteous (although when they weren't helping, they were all glued to their phones). Definitely recommend!

Cindy Andrea S.

Yelp
It's chaos in there. Employees are swamped, so they likely don't have time to greet anyone. I found myself in a line full of people only to find out that we weren't in a line at all. They employees were not knowledgeable about their product. There are no places to sit. The ice cream is mediocre, if that.

Angela L.

Yelp
Super yummy dessert place! Lots of ice cream options as well as milkshakes and pastries. It's a cute little gift store you can browse as well!

Arianna V.

Yelp
The macarons were terrible. The ice cream and waffle cone were very good. I had the coconut and pistachio macarons. They were very expensive at nearly $4 each, more than $8 total with tax. The texture was way off. They were dry and crunchy, instead of a slight crunch and a nice chewy texture. The coconut was inedibly sweet, just like pure sugar and the pistachio doesn't have much pistachio flavor and is also way too sweet. Very disappointing and getting thrown away. Zero stars for the macarons, 4 stars for the ice cream.

Claire B.

Yelp
Most amazing ham and cheese sandwich I have ever had. Ice cream was delicious and the ambiance was darling- a must stop

Bonnie G.

Yelp
In a town with bad food, the homemade ice cream at this shop is delicious! So thick and creamy filled with real chunks of chocolates, fruits, peanut butter, whatever you like! Got the Oreo ice cream and the Almond Joy and both were so good. Trying the S'mores next time. 5 stars!!!!!

Samantha M.

Yelp
Great gifts and things to take home, but super awkward store layout (was always running into people), and suuuuper expensive ice cream. Coffee was better prices but still kind of crazy pricing all around for food and drink, even for park city. It was also weird to feel a bit pressured with the "tip" screen, even when just checking out with store items.

Brigham M.

Yelp
Had such a fun stop in at JavaCow. The service was kind and engaging. Lots of breakfast choices. We went with the Berry açaí bowl and had them remove the coconut. I'm used to açaí being a little bitter like at Costco. This was not. It was very balanced. The fresh blueberries, strawberries and honey drizzled on top was full of flavor. I would make this stop each time I visit downtown Main Street park city. Fun kid novelties in the store too.

Byron H.

Yelp
Ordered few different ice cream flavors and and macarons. The ice cream was five dollars for a scoop or seven dollars for two scoops in a cup. They have multiple flavors like Peanut butter blast or s'more's. However I would rate the ice cream as fair to average. Think tourist trap quality. The macarons... almost didn't want to finish it. If you're a macaron lover, certainly pass on these.

Neight C.

Yelp
Coffee is way over priced, and service is terrible. The line to order is awkward. I had to use the restroom and was not happy about how I was told I used the wrong one, they should probably try marking the one that is in use.

Sadie M.

Yelp
The ice cream was super good but the workers were really rude and pushy. It felt like we were being rushed and we were a hassle. They kept asking us what else we were going to order even when we said we needed a second. Overcrowded too.

Felicia S.

Yelp
Rude employees. Both times I've been I was disappointed by the ice cream. $17 for two watered down flavors. Not worth it.

Michele P.

Yelp
Interesting little shop on the main strip which offers coffee, fresh baked goods, ice cream and random retail items. It was a cold, snowy day so there was no line on the ice cream side of the shop. For $30, we walked away with 4 kiddie size cones. We have had homemade ice cream at many other places. It was good, not excellent. The homemade ham & cheese croissant was good.

Mitchell B.

Yelp
Genuinely disturbed by our visit today. Could the manager/owner please message me? I don't even feel comfortable typing out what happened. Unacceptable behavior from your employees. Do better.

Maria L.

Yelp
Had this place 3/4 days I was in Park City. So yummy! Had the almond joyous (tastes just like almond hot chocolate) and the strawberry cheesecake.

Zaid N.

Yelp
Came here for ice cream! Busy spot in park city. Ordered the Oreo ice cream and it was delish. I did try someone else's Lavender and honey flavor and that was unique!

Len S.

Yelp
Looking for that cup a coffee to bring you back to life after walking up Main street from the bottom of the hill. We found Java Cow Coffee. Vanilla Latte's for us. With a table open on the sidewalk and it being 60 degs outside we enjoyed our coffee while people watching.

Thomas H.

Yelp
Good coffee. I basically just had a coffee and thought it was good. Big place with lots of options.

Sara B.

Yelp
What a cute eccentric little shop. They have coffee, ice cream and a bakery inside a gift shop. There are definitely some cool trinkets here and would be a great spot to find souvenirs for friends and we also found some unique Christmas gifts for friends and family. SEATING: Inside is rather limited. There are a few tables randomly tucked between the gift shop and 1 bench or two outside We ordered coffee from here and both enjoyed our lattes!

Mandy F.

Yelp
Java cow is a Park City staple. I've been eating here for 6+ years. There food, breakfast, coffee, ice cream, etc, is amazing!! I recommend to anyone. They have vegan, gluten free, dairy free food. Perfect for everyone! Do yourself a favor and just go!

Charles C.

Yelp
Another place we've been coming for more than a decade, you can't take the ice cream out of the kids. Nice coffee, toys, souvenirs and of course some classic Cow's ice cream. What you say it is biting cold and less than 10 degrees, let's go walk up Main Street and get ice cream, I guess we aren't the only kids, LOL How's the ice cream? Classic cows are made with love but a bit pricey but what do you expect for downtown Park City, nothing is cheap here.

Erica F.

Yelp
Theres plenty of paid and some street parking in the area. this place is located at the feet of a ski resort and at the epicenter of a commerce neighborhood. People either come here for the ski, the commerce or both! to the mountain in the morning and have some lunch doing some retail therapy! we came in and the staff was friendly, theres plenty to see in here, they have gifts and moments of the town, as well as coffee, pastries and some amazing ice cream flavors. The staff is friendly but be aware that there is not that much sitting here, so it is like a grab and go kind of place since there are perhaps 2 tables inside and a bench outside. Honey lavender- amazing flowery sweetness, I loved the texture and the flavor of the ice cream. The cone was pretty nice tasting as well, this honey lavender is scoop hit the spot for sure. 5 dollar small one scoop cone, that is a great price for the favor and the experience if you are around go for lunch and then come here for desert and coffee you will love it.
