Java Owl is my go‑to when I want coffee and a place with soul. The drinks are excellent, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfect comfy chairs, great lighting, beautiful décor, live music now and then. It’s more than just a coffee shop; it’s a community spot. Yes, sometimes it’s busy, but it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend if you want somewhere laid‑back to relax, work, or catch up with friends

It’s a cute coffee place with baked goods and various cafe drinks to choose from. The process to order is simple and the baristas welcome any questions you have. The indoor cafe is very nice and clean. The outdoor area is suitable for solo explorers, pairs, or groups to sit at. Parking lot isn’t crazy.

I really wanted this to be good. I did not enjoy the cappuccino, but that might just be me. The scone was good. The atmosphere is really cool. I love the Board games. Im sitting next to a couple playing backgammon.

Popular local coffee shop - stood in line for quite some time. And, now I know why. The owner?manager made sure I was absolutely happy with my coffee before I left. I was! Beautiful large outdoor area for those people who bring their kiddos. Inside is a playground for adults - visiting, reading books, relaxing. I love it here.

Can’t say enough good things about Java Owl, the atmosphere is lovely, there is plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor. It’s so cozy and local feeling. The drinks are top notch too, very delicious. The employees and service is very quick as well, the employees here really value your opinion and care about your experience, they are all very helpful. I would definitely recommend. And if you’re a matcha person, I would suggest the Unsweet iced Matcha with Strawberry Syrup, its so good!

Coffee and bakery are both very good. It is a bit crowded on the Saturday morning we visit, but we found a small table for us. Although it is close to other tables, it is neither too loud nor too quiet. There are also sofa for more relaxed seating. Very clean tidy and cozy coffee shop.

I love Java Owl. If you're looking for a true coffee house vibe, this location is a gem in the Clear Lake/NASA area. It's quiet, good playlist, plenty of tables and a covered patio area. The drinks are always great and reasonable! They have an All Day drip coffee if you plan to stay for a while. I never feel rushed and everyone is always SO attentive and friendly. If you come in the evening they often have events, and they have bookshelves FILLED with games. Best coffee shop around, you won't be disappointed!
