We recently stayed at the Jayakarta Bali Beach Resort for 10 days during the last week of June. This was our 5th trip to Bali, but 1st time staying in Legian. |We treated ourselves to stay in a Junior Suite, which was amazing, and the view from our balcony was spectacular. The room was exactly as the pictures on the website, and we were not disappointed. Having our own sun lounges was a special treat. |The resort itself is very well kept with beautiful gardens. The resort is ageing and looking tired in some areas, and some of the sun lounge mattresses could be replaced, but that did not distract from our amazing stay. It is an affordable beach front resort, so we did not expect 5 star luxury, and accepted the 'Bali character' of the resort, which is the same as all the other affordable mid-price resorts we have stayed at. |The food we ordered was very reasonably priced and delicious, but we thought the price of Bintang was a little high, considering other neighbouring resorts sold for less. We really enjoyed the live entertainment on the nights we stayed in. |The location is brilliant. Everything you need is at your doorstep, and a beautiful section of beach opposite the back gate. There were always plenty of pool towels, but you will need to pack your own beach towel if you want to swim at the beach. We understand the resort does not want to lose their pool towels, but perhaps a beach towel hire service would be a good option for guests, as its not easy to fit a towel in your suitcase! We would have happily paid a few dollars to hire a beach towel, instead of having to drip-dry after a beach swim.|All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Yuniati on the reception desk who checked us in and out with fantastic service, and was very friendly and helpful. We were extremely grateful to have our room ready a few hours early, after a very early morning of travel.|We have already booked our return stay at Jayakarta Bali Beach Resort and are looking forward to staying again, this time in a cottage room.

We recently returned from a stay at the Jayakarta. We had interconnecting deluxe rooms (kids 11 and 13). The rooms were great, the bathrooms were dated but clean. Even though the building was old, it had a great Bali feel and the grounds were lovely. Really enjoyed the pool area and buffet breakfast. Location was great with shopping and other places to eat right out the front/back. The people who work there were very friendly and very helpful. Other than it being a bit dated we don't have anything negative to say about the place. We would defiantly stay there again. It's not like the modern resorts but that's what made it different and felt like a real holiday.

The rooms were comfortable and great air conditioning. Older style hotel with some facilities need to be added, but is well maintained. It has feeling of being invited to a friends resort. beautiful gardens and on-site restaurants. The hospitality we really lovely. Nothing was too much trouble, we checked in late and it was very smooth and easy. Lovely place for a family holiday. Great pools and close to Seminyak beach, my first stay. Best of all it is quiet, but the hustle and bustle is just outside the door.

Hotel needs a refurbish. Can't beat the expansive pool area, great for doing laps or the kids to enjoy. Nice tennis court and garden areas opposite beach where you can relax watching a beautiful sunsets in beach bars on the sand. Beer and drinks quite cheap on the beach, $4 a bintang crystal while lying back on a bean bag couch.

We really enjoyed our stay at jayakarta! Yes the rooms are dated. But they were clean and comfortable with great AC. We did find it noisy the first night but nothing too off putting. The grounds are very well kept, staff constantly maintaining. The pools are amazing. Super clean, large. And the location is perfect. Very kid friendly! For what we paid we were very happy! Buffet breakfast was also amazing!

Although this resort is starting to look.its age it had everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the food was good and the rooms were comfortable. The 2 pools were great. We made use of the on-site spa and it was very good. Slightly dearer prices than on the street but well worth it|

Great value for money. Awesome locations and friendly staff. Have been coming here every July to escape the Melbourne winter since 2018 (COVID excluded). Wargi is one of the many excellent staff.

We booked this resort because it had 4 restaurants, HOWEVER, they all had the same menu!!! No variety, except the nightly buffet. The fire dance entertainment and buffet on Wednesday night were good, $22pp, in 2025. However the live music at the buffet was too loud. Breakfast was included and it was good. The two pools were well used. We never found a sun lounger to sit by the pool, they were always taken. The music by the pool was sometimes very loud, depending on who was at the swim up bar. The gym is not functional for normal users. The spa is good for massages, my 1 hour was au$25, in 2025. We used the tennis court, $10 an hour rental, it was good. The resort is across the road from the beach, the beach is busy, sometimes noisy with music, and probably good for the 20 something's, with beer and cold drinks available.
