Hotel location is good and staff are great but Rooms are really old and in desperate need of refurbishment. Water pressure is terrible and the bathroom stinks of sewerage. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Hotel pool area is nice but not enough day beds as they're usually all taken by 10am. Hotel restaurant is well priced but average quality. A bit annoying how early the cleaners want to clean the rooms to - think the latest we got to without getting our doorbell rung was 8:30am

We had a lovely room facing the beach front, less than a minute to the pool with swim-up bar. Same distance to get to beach. Rooms clean, comfortable and AC. Good value for money. Rooms had a fridge and safe. All staff, from grounds people, room cleaners, restaurant and bar staff and reception were wonderful. I liked how close we were to beach hangs, shops and restaurants. Mix of all ages, young families, schoolie groups, and older couples. Gave it a fun nice vibe. Definitely would stay again.

Very dated but an “all you need” stay. We stayed in residence apartments. But had access to the pools, restaurants etc. we stayed in Two different airbnb - first one had soap in bottles like a hotel but second gave a bar of soap - so very very basic but they are cheap enough. Beds comfortable and suited us, being a group of 3. Location is central to everything. Bars around are great for food drinks and entertainment for the family . Tattoo shop - Scratch Ink is the best so go there, just around the corner

We had a large family group recently stay at the hotel, and a number of issues we experienced, other rooms did also, in which we had about 9 rooms in total, all in different areas of the hotel.|We always seemed to wait a long time to be greeted at reception, even if no other guests were around.|If they could not help us straight away we were told to sit down and someone would come to us (they never did) |Wouldn't let us open a Safe box at reception the first night when checking in, was asked to come back in the morning, even though there were 3 or 4 staff at reception. Considering there are no safes in the room I didn't feel comfortable leaving our passports and money in our room while we went out the first night, so we stayed close.|Pool tiles are extremely slippery. We had multiple people from our group slip over the first day while walking around the pool, no staff member came to check if anyone was ok. |Security tried to deny us the right to bring in large bottles of water to keep in our room as "we sell water here" Eventually we were allowed to bring it in, but again when we went to complain we were asked to sit down and the Manager would come talk to us. I imagine we would still be sitting there waiting if we didn't just get up and walk away. |The breads, pastries and fruit all had small insects flying around them every morning at the buffet, which was not appealing to see. There was also a resident cat that would roam through the tables and on the rafters in the restaurant while everyone was eating, which no staff members seemed to want to shoo away.|No hot water the first night, I told them at reception the next day, but it remained on and off during our whole 10 days. This complaint was also shared with other family members.|Our air conditioner did not work as well as the other rooms seemed to, again this complaint is shared with other family members rooms.|Cleaning for the rooms was average, one of our rooms had a dead mosquito near the shower tap which was there for 3 days in a row before they got fed up and washed it away themselves. Some rooms also had ants.|Housekeeping was not great, one of our rooms had to ring 3 times to ask where the towels were as they didn't leave enough when cleaning. |The little shop next to the pool was mostly closed for our stay. As this sold things like pool toys and hats you would think it would be open every day.|Even though we all booked Deluxe Rooms, they all came with Twin side by side beds. The only people in our group who had a Queen bed were the ones who booked an interconnecting room. In all advertising the Deluxe rooms show a Queen bed.

The resort is stunning and a perfect location. 10/10 however the service was not great. The staff were often confused - our checkin was not smooth, We had a large group of 10 to book in and they were very unorganised with our room allocations. Then our room was checked out even though we had extended our stay. We booked the shuttle bus for 8 people and they only booked a car for 4 people to get to the airport. Our room had no hot water.

Absolutely LOVED our trip to Bali, staying at Jayakarta. The resort is stunning, with the tropical gardens, pools, restaurant and reception. It is really conveniently located right in the heart of Legian, with everything in walking distance. It backs onto the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing is the apartment we stayed in was very old and tired, the furniture really does need an uplift, but then again, we paid a very reasonable price for the time we were there. The bed was very comfy though. It was very easy to keep valuables in a safe deposit box, which was manned 24/7. And there is money exchange onsite at a reasonable rate. This resort is a definite must stay.

The hotel is well situated to many areas of interest and easy access to shops, bars, banks etc. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The food and food selections were really great.||A couple of downsides. First the room (Deluxe) was very comfortable, but was showing its age. It needs a paint job and some of the doors would be far better if replaced.|The other is the cost for the in-house taxi / tour service. The service was good, but expensive when compared to outside options. As first time visitors to Bali we fell into this trap. Paying 200K Rp ($20) to travel from hotel to Kuta Bali Bombing Memorial site. After walking around Kuta for a while we caught a taxi (Bluebird Taxi) back from approximately the same location. It only cost us 38K Rp ($3.80).||All in all it was a great time and ignoring age of hotel is very good value.

Great family hotel we booked an adjoining room which was great was able to keep one room until 5pm for $50 additional cost. Great location opposite beach. Lovely staff. Rooms a little dated but very comfortable, air conditioning great. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
