Jaz in the City Stuttgart

Very minimal hotel, rooms are simple, no heating, breakfast is very simple , cold omelet, cold Quaker. The parking is awful, in a dark place across the hotel, dangerous at night. There is no bar to seat in, evert day was private meeting. I would not recommend to my friend

Hotel Jaz in the City is a modern hotel on the edge of a lively complex that blends living spaces, shops, and leisure. The Underground and main railway station are just a short walk away, and you are close to the City Library, the sprawling Milaneo Shopping Complex, and a vast choice of eateries. ||But every adventure has its quirks, and ours came with a few surprises. The rooms, while sleek and stylish, seemed to have a secret ambition to double as a sauna. The air conditioning was either on a break or just not up to the task, so we found ourselves sleeping with the window open, letting the city’s nighttime soundtrack drift in. ||Housekeeping played hard to get during our four-day stay. Despite using the high-tech door card system to request a service our room was never cleaned. We had to call reception twice for fresh towels and a much-needed tea and coffee refill. Not ideal, but at least the staff were polite when we contacted them, but they never advised us that service should be booked from the room, using the small tablet device.||The terrace bar was a let down as staff seemed more interested in socialising than in serving guests. And the downstairs bar/restaurant? It was always closed in the evening when we tried to visit, adding a touch of mystery to our stay.||If you are after a hotel with a prime location and don’t mind a few quirks along the way, this spot is worth considering. Just pack a sense of humour—and maybe a portable fan.

I liked this hotel. Rooms are nice and roomy enough. Rooms were also really quiet. Only downside was too thin pillows. Rainfall shower was excellent. Breakfast was really good with enough variety. Location is not the best and parking in shopping center is not convenient.

Maximize earnings unter the slogan „Safe the environment“A the check in the first question is not what u need, it’s what u DON’T need: Cleaning even when requested was not performed. I requested cleaning every second day to „protect the environment“ , not even that was done even I switched on the cleaning button at the door.WiFi only if u are a member after some registration or with a code I which I can get at the reception - why they didn’t ask if I need it at the check in. Slippers or any amenities only on request. There is a sticker in the bathroom that u can request it via the Tablet - that’s not true - u can only request cleaning which will not work at the end… So I tried with the Telefon but device in 403 Room to call the reception was broken, so we had to go down all the time to request for every little thing. 1 out of 5 nights cleaning was done, in the meantime no coffee re-fill - no re-fill water. Just nothing. WiFi u need to be a member instead of just join. Or request a code at the front desk… why I need to go again down instead they just tell me in the beginning. This hotel has really a worse service culture… for 150 a night, definitely NOT recommended - I felt like an AirBnb, u are all on urself but super expensive. Last but not least, it would be nice when the staff is knocking the door before they enter the room.

You arrive late in the evening and are looking forward to a nice drink and a bite on the rooftop bar.. Then the lady at the reception tells you that the rooftop bar and restaurant are closed for a private event…. Come on!!! Think about your guests… making money is more important apparently. For the rest the room was comfortable, the shower great, also the service in general was good and the breakfast was nice… but I am very sorry that a potential 5 star review results in this… at least in the future let the guests know that you cannot make use of the rooftop bar, so they can decide to make different choice of hotel. Not good!

Freezing night, no heating, no sleep. Far below expected standard. I stayed at Jaz in the City Stuttgart and could not sleep because the central heating was turned off during the night, despite cold winter temperatures outside. The room became freezing, and I had to request a portable heater at 3 a.m. There is no dedicated parking garage, and the customer service was defensive and unhelpful, showing no sense of responsibility or goodwill. This hotel is not suitable for international guests who are not used to the local habit of turning off the heat at night or expect service orientation. It absolutely does not meet the standards of an upscale hotel. I will not return.

They charged me saying it was not paid when it was. Now hotels.com will penalize them for that. Yes the hotel is in front of a mall but unless you really need it I would not recomend it. Awful service.

We booked 2 rooms including parking. When we arrived, although confirmed by the hotel, there was no parking reserved and everything was full, so they made us park along the roadside. So far for booking parking space. One of the rooms had a broken AC, with 28+ celcius this was a real issue. Also cleaning the room, make the beds and clean towels seemed to be not part of the deal. We only found this out the second day when we came back to the room and despite having the “please clean room” sign on nothing had happened. Calling the reception learned that this is new policy since 6 months. This was not communicated upfront and we still do not know how we should have known this. Also the personnel at breakfast is very unfriendly. Tables are not cleaned and if cleaned the crumbs end up in the chairs. All in all they pretend to be a good hotel, but this is clearly not the case.

A wonderful experience here at Jax for my family and I. Love the room and the amenities associated with it. Will definitely stay here every time we visit Stuttgart. It is totally worth the value. 100% percent recommend this hotel for your stay here in Stuttgart. See Ron, the night manager if you are checking in late. He's awesome.
