Jazz At Lincoln Center

I had an amazing time at the jazz concert! The musicians were incredibly talented, and the atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy. The venue had great acoustics, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a truly unforgettable night filled with soulful rhythms and extraordinary performances. I can’t wait for the next one!

I’ve been here a few times before, but this time decided to catch a show during the daytime. The setting by is phenomenal and the artists are always top notch. I highly recommend coming during the day!

I attended the "Gatekeeper" conference and award night by Gates Foundation, and there couldn't be a more befitting venue than the Jazz At Lincoln Centre. A remarkable place to network for change makers.

I love this place. We went there for jazz concert. It is located in the Lincoln Center so you might want to come earlier and enjoy great Plaza with many stores and things to do. While you are getting to the Rose Theatre you pass several cozy and cool areas created for different types of entertainment. The breathtaking view has one that facing Columbus Circle. The Center has a lot of open spaces built in multilevel design with great architectural elements. The Rose Theatre itself shaped more as amphitheater, has a wonderful atmosphere and great acoustics. The concert was amazing. Talented musicians, fantastic performances and great composition. The experience was incredible and it is highly recommend.

The Holiday big band performance was disappointing, little to do with traditional holiday music, featuring only contemporary re-interpretations and some "anti-Christmas" songs. It was a real shame that a ballad or two were completely missing. A simple crowd-pleaser to showcase the flawless technical abilities of all the performers could have brought the whole room together in a beautiful moment of peaceful reverence and spirituality. The performance mainly centered around the technical abilities of the performers and felt kind of self-serving in that way. The highlight for me was the sound system, which was incredibly well-balanced, punchy and strong, accurate and detailed, and did a great job with mic pickup.

Great show, wonderful acoustics. I don't think there's a bad seat in the place, and I say that as someone who sat all the way in the back. Prices were surprisingly reasonable.

First time attending a performance was on 6/8/24, which happened to be the final performance of the season. Beautiful space, great sound, and a treat to hear all of the performers - was excited to hear Wynton Marsalis and all the good work he and the other musicians are doing there. Highly recommended.

I was ecstatic to finally get tickets to the Unity Jazz Festival 2024. The Jazz at Lincoln Center is truly a unique concert venue and space! The Jazz festival had several notable musicians performing live in The Appel Room, Ertegun Atrium and Dizzy’s Club. The lineup of artists performing over the two days was exceptional. I am a major fan of Chief Adjuah, and after having seen him perform in several different venues across the USA - the performance at The Appel Room certainly now holds the top spot!!! The acoustics are amazing, along with the intimacy of the venue. No matter where you are seated in the ‘Room’ the visibility is amazing and the dramatic floor to ceiling glass wall overlooking a New York skyline adds that extra NYC pizzazz!!!
