Stumbled upon this cozy jazz bar and had a wonderful evening listening to the amazing singer, Titilayo Adedokun. The atmosphere was intimate and full of good vibes. This jazzbar is a perfect spot for live music lovers. Highly recommended!

Unusual that you can see the schedule and reserve a spot only through the newsletter/email, but it worked out well - they reply quickly. The music was amazing! 100% worth a visit. Been there two times already, for sure will come again :) Entrance is 10€. Most of the cocktails are 11€, and lemonade is 5.5€ 😉

Wonderful Jazz bar in the heart of munich 🤩 What I'd ecommend is to have the programm available on the website as well and be able to book reservation there. Food is available from the asian restaurant nearby via online order, since they have the same owner. Overall, loved that atmosphere! Would def recommend going there, 10/10.

Thanks to Teresa, our experience went from great to truly unforgettable — she was absolutely exceptional! She not only took excellent care of us but managed the entire floor, seamlessly serving both food and drinks while making sure everyone was happy throughout the evening. Jazz nights at Fogler are nothing short of spectacular — truly a world-class experience. It might just be one of the best venues to enjoy live jazz in all of Europe. The talent of the musicians is simply phenomenal.

Sadly the music on the night I visited wasn’t for me - I open with that because I think it’s worth emphasising how little that matters when a venue like this exists. What Thomas has created is in my experience one of the finest jazz bars in Europe, with a wonderfully vibrant and versatile stock of cocktails, liqueurs, spirits et al. Service is extremely efficient, cocktails are masterfully crafted (you’ll struggle to find a Brandy Alexander of this calibre anywhere else, I can say that much at a minimum), the viewing experience is simple yet effective (I sat at the bar), the acoustics surprisingly professional. All that to say: the musicians could be tone deaf and this is worth a visit; on a better night this could easily have become my favourite venue in Europe. Stop reading other reviews and book a night there now!

I believe Vogler Jazzbar was once a special place that brought together people who love underground jazz and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me feeling that the focus has shifted toward seeing guests only as paying customers and not ensuring their comfort and enjoyment. The service was disappointing. Our waitress seemed inattentive from the start. we waited around 15 minutes just to place our order and another 20 minutes to receive it(the order was store bought chips and sauces). Couple of times, her behavior felt inconsiderate, such as placing her tray on our table while unloading it for another group, or moving my bag from my boyfriend’s chair (while he was away) in order to seat someone else there without asking. Regarding the jazz evening, the singer we came to hear was unwell and performed only 3-4 songs, with the rest of the evening being instrumental. While I understand illness can happen, it would have been considerate to inform guests beforehand. Despite the limited performance, the singer still came around with a bowl requesting donations. To end the evening, just two minutes after we paid, we were asked to leave so our table could be given to other guests, even though we were still finishing our food. Overall, this experience was disappointing, especially since we had planned to celebrate special event and expected a warm, memorable evening. Sadly, I did not feel valued as a guest, and I am not willing to return or support this business anyway.

It's always really good to visit the Vogler. Well organised and comfortable with a good range of well priced drinks and most importantly. Excellent music.

This is a true jewel of Munich. Great atmosphere and the owner Thomas Vogler runs a smooth operation with attentive stuff and great drinks. He has a wide selection of musicians but also always comes up with new artists. Whoever plays on the small stage wants to come back due to the unique atmosphere. Ticket prices are very reasonable. Summary: If you love jazz you need to go and you will always return!
