Jazzkantine in Luzern is more than just a jazz bar; it’s a place with character. We were back for their Moules & Frites evening. Perfectly cooked mussels and the thinnest, crispiest fries you can imagine. Simply delicious and hard to stop eating! Locals come here to play cards, have a casual beer, or enjoy a relaxed dinner. Whether you’re in for a game, a drink, or a full meal - you are definitely in the right place. 😊

Stumbled upon this place. They have a set menu with two options for both starter and main. Pretty reasonably priced in the heart of the old town of Luzern. Staff were really lovely too. Atmosphere good. Definitely recommend

Loved this place so much that I’m writing this review on the way back to my hotel so I don’t forget any of the details! •We did the three(out of five) course pre fixe menu •The wait staff were phenomenal at helping us understand the menu by translating and offering pairings •We were taken care of very well/very attentive staff. •Their house made sourdough is a must •The ambiance is comfortable and unique. We felt welcomed and at home! •Because of the fixed menu, I got to try new things I wouldn’t have originally. Now I have some new foodie interests to take home. •Overall, this place is a MUST try in Lucerne!

We stumbled in here after hiking (without enough water) to just get a drink and maybe a small bite to eat. It turned into one of the best experiences we had in Switzerland - Jazzkantine's bread and Liptauer is second to none. It was one of the best mid-day snacks we have ever had, and one of the best loaves of sourdough we have ever had. Sammy was extremely helpful with not just the food service, but also our journey throughout Lucerne (giving recommendations, writing down busses, etc.). Thank you so much!! We also purchased a bag of the house-roasted coffee beans which made tremendous cappuccino. I cannot recommend Jazzkantine zum Graben enough!!

Cosy restaurant in the heart of Lucerne, with an amazing tasting menu (both vegi and meat) and local ingredients. The staff were also incredibly attentive and nice. Will come back!

Our group of 10 recently enjoyed a fantastic night out in Lucerne, choosing this charming restaurant that surpassed our expectations. The cozy place comfortably accommodated us, and we opted for the Tavolata option. Each dish came with an introduction explaining its origins. The food was delicious, fresh, with generous portions that left everyone satisfied. The highlight of the evening was the exceptional service. Mario, our server, was friendly, humorous, and attentive. His drink and wine recommendations were perfect, and his genuine care made the evening memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant for a cozy dinner with colleagues. It was the perfect choice for our outing, leaving us all with full stomachs and big smiles.

I'm a tourist here, but I could tell by the vibe and clientele, this place was going to be special. It's just off the main shopping streets on a parallel street below, so it's not filled with tourists (I believe I'm the only one). The seating is limited, especially when I'm solo and there are large groups, but the girl behind the bar offered for me to have a beer standing near the bar and wait for a table because a group was leaving. She talked with me while I waited. She also said she would be able to preorder since a bigger group was coming. She translated the menu and gave a recommendation, which I took. Wow, what a dish! It was a seasonal take on a very Swiss dish from Graubunden--Swiss chard stuffed with dough and covered with pumpkin, chestnuts, bacon and of course cheese. It was incredibly rich and filling. I feel like I ate Switzerland tonight!! But it was delicious and traditional, which is what I wanted. They have regional beers on tap too. There's an outdoor patio and a downstairs bar. I'm sorry I discovered it in my last night in town. Very highly recommend!!
