I went to this J.Crew location expecting to get pants altered — even offered to pay — but was told they only do it for cardholders. This wasn’t mentioned online, and staff didn’t offer any helpful alternatives. It felt like they just didn’t want to bother. Disappointing experience and a waste of time.

Whomever the younger associate is on this date at 6:15 is the rudest, most disconnected, hates her job and the people around her person I’ve dealt with. EVER! I never say anything to people about their behavior. This time, I was left with no choice. Do better J Crew.

It’s Saturday in Boca—tennis this morning (easy win, of course), followed by brunch with the bros at my family’s country club. Feeling solid, I decide to swing by J.Crew. Now, let me say this upfront: I’m a smart guy. I run a successful firm, inherited from my dad, but trust me, I’ve earned my place. So when I say J.Crew works, it’s worth listening to me. My mom, Karen, got me into J.Crew. She always said, “Chad, the right clothes tell people you’re in control.” And she’s never been wrong. The Boca store? Usually on point. It’s clean, classic, and makes me feel seen. You walk in, and it’s like looking in a mirror of what success should be. But today, this employee—Brandon or Kyle, whatever—tried to question me. I’m holding a coral polo (a staple for any man who knows what he’s doing), and he says, “Are you sure about that color? It’s kind of bold.” Bold? I just smiled and said, “Don’t worry, man. You won’t be folding clothes here tomorrow.” Not everyone can handle the J.Crew vision. I left with the coral polo, two pairs of chinos (navy and khaki, both with the little sailboats) and a blazer. I don’t have time to figure out weird stuff like ‘fashion-forward’ or whatever. J.Crew is safe and represents men like me and my Alma mater fraternity bros, it’s just nice to see people who look like us, you know? Clean-cut, dependable, easy on the eyes. Representation matters. The fits are dialed in—slim but not overly edgy—because let’s face it, we’ve got a impeccable gym routine, but we’re not trying to look like we care too much. And the price point? Sweet spot. Not so cheap it’s embarrassing, but affordable enough that we can still keep most of our portfolio in Bitcoin. Yeah, maybe our maid struggles to wash my J.Crew pieces, but honestly? That’s what makes it cool. It’s not about durability—it’s about the look, and J.Crew delivers every time. If you’re into fast fashion, fast forehands, and fast lanes to summer homes, this is your brand. Went to J Crew to return a pair of pants that I ordered online that didn't fit me, and ended up leaving with the best fitting pants I've ever had! Greta was absolutely the most helpful person! She suggested I try a certain pair of pants and helped me decide what size looked best on me. It was about 30 minutes before they closed and her customer service was just as terrific as if the store had just opened. Also, great quality clothes!J Crew just earned a very loyal customer. I love J Crew and their style fits me to a T. The sales associate was attentive, knew where everything was and was very knowledgeable about all the styles. However, the sales associate wasn't very nice. Now, I am a size 4/6 and small on top so I am no means "big". I am very curvy and tall though. She kept giving me size 10 or 12 when there was no way my body would keep those shorts/pants up! She did stop doing that though once she saw that size 6 actually fit. She also stated that I need to have the shirt altered because it was too big in the back, but she said it in a way that she was shocked by this. Yes, I am curvy and that tends to happen! She was very helpful though. Just found it odd the way she treated my "body shape" because I never get that anywhere else. The selections were plenty and I ended up buying a whole new outfit. :) Love JCrew and will continue shopping here - just found that the associates could of been more "friendly".

First time writing a bad review...love J. Crew. I usually order online. sometime I have to come in the store for return. Just been there. Terrible customer service as always (except one blond lady and young man, don’t remember their names unfortunately ) today Cashier Shyanne didn’t even say hello to us. She did return without saying any word or smile. I think it’s not acceptable.

Devin the roving Realtor here - this place is great. I wish I could remember who I worked with when I was here, but I have no kind of fashion sense at all, and he was very helpful. I ended up buying 3 suits, a belt, and 2-3 shirts - wouldn't have been able to do it without assistance to ask, "Will this look crazy with this?" and "Be honest, is this a style that *suits* me? (No pun intended)" They were very eager for me to get a JCrew card - they weren't pushy at all, I could just tell there was an excitement, having worked in a retail / sales environment in the past. Great store, clean store, great mall!

Just spent an hour on the phone with J Crew customer service line. The individual I spoke with unfortunately got my email incorrect after spelling it 4 times , phonetically. Interesting she was located in Belize and there was no supervisor available to assist. If you need to call the 800 line via my experience today I would recommend not to ,But there is no phone number assigned to the Tampa International Mall store so I can't call them to place an order. They, CS , said they will call back within 24 hours, wish me luck! This is extremely frustrating way to try to give them business.

Ordered a sweater online. Online site clearly stated the sweater could be picked up in store the next day (the day I needed the item). Went to the store the following day. They did not have the sweater. It's two days later and they still don't have the sweater. They won't cancel the order until they receive the item I no longer need. I asked to leave feedback and was hung up on. Will not longer do business with JCrew and that's after 40 years at least of shopping with them. Don't lie or use deceptive practices on your website, JCrew.

J.Crew at International Plaza and Bay Street in Tampa is a great place to go for all things J.Crew clothing all in one place. I really like the selection that they have here and I was able to find some items here that I have not seen before. The staff here is very helpful and available to help. Good shopping experience.

I'm in search of the softest t shirt. J Crew must pay google to put them on the top of the list. I was reluctant to be that person who bought an expensive t shirt. But I did it and I regret it. Still in search of a soft t shirt. Oh and they sent the wrong size. Booo on you J Crew!!!!!

This is my favorite store, I should have stock there because they know me by name. I absolutely love their pencil skirts. I probably have one in every color. It is my winter staple piece. Another favorite is their sweaters specifically the cardigans. Sometimes they have some hit and misses but overall the quality is great. Customer service is great, I love one of the associates because she will tell me when something doesn't look good for my body type. Finally, if you are an educator you get 15% off.
