Jeanie's Restaurant & Beach

Initially my wife was going on a cruise with friends as I was still working. Found this place on Google and suggested it to her as a safe, nice spot to go. They had a wonderful time. Today. We're on a cruise and we stopped in here and it is absolutely great. Very very good food! The shrimp and beef nachos are excellent and a huge portion that will easily serve two people. It sits on a little lot by the beach where it has a little Beach area and swim area along with a restaurant and bar where you can relax and have something to eat and drink. This will be one of our regular spots. We come to Cozumel quite often and it's nice to find a small place like this that has everything you need. Only about a mile and a half from the cruise terminal at Puerto Maya. About a $10 taxi ride. The service was excellent and there's no problem at all that we had coming here. There is also a taxi stop right across the street from the restaurant so when you need to go back to the ship or anywhere else very handy to just go across the street and jump in.

We arrived during breakfast but we’re hoping for some lunch items. Our hostess got us a table on the beach, and it was wonderful. Tao was our waiter and took cery good care of us. I ordered the pescado tacos Baja and the Mrs ordered the Camarillo coco, and margaritas. All were very tasty. No rush to to get us to leave. Hope to be back again soon.

Absolutely beautiful!! Can swim and enjoy tasty cocktails and food! Service is a little slow, but expected and not a concern with the beauty that your in!

We were not impressed with some of the food. I felt the steak fajitas lacked flavor. The mahi fish tacos were ok but nothing special also got flour tortilla instead of the corns I asked for. But! We did enjoy the chips and salsa and curly fries with cheese and bacon. Great location next to the water with an awesome view! The server was very friendly and took good care of us. I am sure this place is great during the busy season.

Great food and service. We dined at Jeanie’s after our SeaTrek helmet dive. The Chicken Cesar salad was delicious. Abundant perfectly seasoned chicken. The chicken nachos were excellent. Perfectly cooked, seasoned and tasty. Very nice menu with plenty of options. Well prepared margaritas. Service is attentive, friendly, polite and sincere.

The food is amazing. Highly recommend the torre de mariscos and the salty caramel martini. Come during happy hour, drinks are BOGO free (2 for 1). Delmar was our server. He was incredibly kind and attentive. It looks like a tourist trap but it actually amazing food and drinks. You can also SWIM in the ocean free of charge!!!

We stopped in for happy hour from 4 to 6 pm. The drinks were great and the apps were tasty. I have been here for breakfast as well and they have good food. The views as this place is on the water are awesome watching the cruise ships leave.

The view is amazing. Staff was friendly, service was quick. However my lunch was disappointing. Shrimp takos had deep fried breaded shrimps, they were so dry, you couldn't understand what you are eating... do not recommend. Servers were not concerned that dish was not eaten and did not ask a question either. Guacamole was lovely though.
