I write this, my very first online review, about this dealership and one of their very talented service department employee's.
My son has a Chevrolet SUV that suddenly developed a bad case of engine failure, leaving him stranded and without a drive-able vehicle. And since he's a traveling nurse, this vehicle was of the utmost importance in allowing him to continue to do his job for many home-bound patients in the Springfield, Dayton and Columbus area's. And since Jeff Wyler Chevrolet is the premier Chevy dealer in the vicinity, I asked him to contact them immediately.
My first contact with this dealer came through the very capable hands of one John Brown, a service manager at this dealership. From the moment of first contact to the last, I have rarely had someone take the time, the urgency, and the direct care this man exhibited. To the extent that I never really needed to call John for update on the work being done. As it was, John called me a few times daily to let me know what was going on with my sons vehicle, including what was wrong with a variety of worn out parts and replete with pictures of said parts as verification thereof.
John went above and beyond to assure us that all would be rectified, and in record time. The car ended up needing a new engine, new catalytic converter, new rear brakes, and a number of smaller items. All of which were professionally taken care of and delivered on time. I almost knew minute by minute what was ordered, arrival times, scheduled part replacements, and where they were in the process overall. He was also extremely easy to deal with, and his care and attention to detail was very self evident. I couldn't have chosen a better guy to handle these things in a more professional, dedicated and responsible manner.
In short; I would highly recommend this dealership (and their employees) to anyone looking for service or for honest and forthright attention to their car buying or service needs. They were beyond reproach.
And should my son ever buy another car from another dealer? Let's just say that one of us is going to have to enjoy a cell with Bubba at Lebanon, 'cause one of us isn't going to make it.
