Jeff Wyler had the KIA Sorento plug-in hybrid that I'd been shopping for so I decided to call them, even though they were 4+ hours away from where I live in Central Illinois. I connected over the phone with Braden Risser, one of their sales staff, who was friendly and happy to answer all of my questions to my satisfaction. Buying a used car remotely requires building trust and rapport, and Braden was patient and took the time to provide the videos and information I asked for. He even managed to locate the charging plug that had gone missing when the Sorento was traded in! We worked out the details for my purchase and I was able to pickup my car on the way home from a family road trip. I'm back home with the car I wanted, and happy with the service they provided.

I had a 2024 Trailblazer in Nitro Yellow. I enjoyed it, but had a terrible experience that was continuous from the dealership I purchased it from at every turn. I took it to Wyler for service and jokingly said I should trade it in. Joke was on me! Lance helped me trade up into a 2025 Blazer EV and I am in love with this car. Service is also amazing. Bobby has helped answer any question or concern I could possibly have. I am so happy to be a part of the Wyler family — they genuinely care.

I came in looking for a car to replace mine after an accident, and the employees were a great help! Especially John Brown! He got me a great deal on my current daily driver 2 grand off sticker price and a year of free oil changes. Thanks John Brown!

Purchased a used vehicle around Jan of this year while we test driving the vehicle I could smell a little bit of oil smell coming from the vehicle the salesman said it was probably where they just serviced the vehicle so I was under the assumption the vehicle was completely serviced and checked for any issues about 28 days later after the purchase the vehicle was returned back to the service department it was leaking oil on the top side of the engine so they said I would have to pay half of the repairs which it is a used vehicle I agreed to that fast forward to today the same seal along with others had failed again got estimate to repair again it was $2900.00 dollars to make same repair and others because of the failed seals and components that caused it to fail the first time I declined that work had my personal technician do the repairs himself and noticed no repairs was done at all from the first experience the coolant tube that runs across the cam shaft cover had never been apart I don’t blame the sales team who sold us the vehicle but the service department definitely took advantage of us I will never take that particular vehicle back to be serviced by them.

John Brown was supremely helpful in my shopping experience! I came in specifically looking for a 2008 Chevy Avalanche in Sterling Silver, with the color matched bugshield, and while they did not have one at the dealership, he was able to point me in the right direction on where I might be able to find one. With his help, I was able to get my very own 2008 Chevy Avalanche in Sterling Silver, with the Color matched bugshield, and I have never been more happy! Thank you so much, John Brown!!

I write this, my very first online review, about this dealership and one of their very talented service department employee's. My son has a Chevrolet SUV that suddenly developed a bad case of engine failure, leaving him stranded and without a drive-able vehicle. And since he's a traveling nurse, this vehicle was of the utmost importance in allowing him to continue to do his job for many home-bound patients in the Springfield, Dayton and Columbus area's. And since Jeff Wyler Chevrolet is the premier Chevy dealer in the vicinity, I asked him to contact them immediately. My first contact with this dealer came through the very capable hands of one John Brown, a service manager at this dealership. From the moment of first contact to the last, I have rarely had someone take the time, the urgency, and the direct care this man exhibited. To the extent that I never really needed to call John for update on the work being done. As it was, John called me a few times daily to let me know what was going on with my sons vehicle, including what was wrong with a variety of worn out parts and replete with pictures of said parts as verification thereof. John went above and beyond to assure us that all would be rectified, and in record time. The car ended up needing a new engine, new catalytic converter, new rear brakes, and a number of smaller items. All of which were professionally taken care of and delivered on time. I almost knew minute by minute what was ordered, arrival times, scheduled part replacements, and where they were in the process overall. He was also extremely easy to deal with, and his care and attention to detail was very self evident. I couldn't have chosen a better guy to handle these things in a more professional, dedicated and responsible manner. In short; I would highly recommend this dealership (and their employees) to anyone looking for service or for honest and forthright attention to their car buying or service needs. They were beyond reproach. And should my son ever buy another car from another dealer? Let's just say that one of us is going to have to enjoy a cell with Bubba at Lebanon, 'cause one of us isn't going to make it. Mike VanOrsdale Stillwater, Minnesota

Google
Logan ,Aj,and the rest of the team made buying my first new truck in over 30 years very pleasurable. The only issue I had,was I was not aware that they had to apply for a credit app with Wright Patt. In the end it worked out better going with Day Air. I probably should have verified before I left Wednesday night. It all worked out.

Google
The sales team at Jeff Wyler is knowledgeable and very friendly. Logan Marker went out of his way to get me in the vehicle that I wanted. I recommend this company to anyone shopping for a new car or truck.

Yelp
Bobby was great. Actually first time in the area we have had good luck at a Chevy dealership. We will be back!

Yelp
My vehicle was and still is giving me a warning about an airbag problem. Since it is still under warranty I had to take it to a dealership. At Jeff Wyler I was told I needed $745 worth of work done to my car..which it does not and after having my vehicle there for 6+hrs, the problem was not fixed. I will never do business with them again.

Yelp
I bought a used 2013 Hyundai Elantra. The car was infested with Cockroaches (you don't realize this until it's night time). Finally got rid of the cockroaches and the engine is failing. The salesman never gave me any reason to not buy the car when I asked about potential concerns. It would have been nice to know that the 2013 Hyundai Elantra is one the most problematic cars ever produced by Hyundai because of engine failure. I am looking at a $6,000 engine replacement on a car I bought 5 months ago given I am 2,000 miles past the 80,000 mile warranty I am upset with myself for not doing more due diligence. Don't trust salespeople.

Yelp
Absolutely the best customer service! We drove over 6 hours to purchase a vehicle. Caleb made the sale seamless and not stressful. Everyone in the showroom stopped to say hello and carry on a conversation. At the end of the sale, Ian did amazing presenting all the paperwork. These guys are awesome and I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. Thank you for making me smile!

Yelp
I was on hold for over 30 minutes trying to get an appointment for my vehicle because I received a recall notice in the mail, their online chat isn't much better. My family has bought many cars from this dealership over the years, past several with salesman Tom Loney. No, I did not buy my current vehicle there, I was living out of Springfield, Wyler's in Springfield is now the closest Chevy dealership to me. I have heard other horror stories from some of my co-workers. Apparently if you are a female you get screwed over now. Never use to be like this, use to be the only place I would trust. Well, from now on, I know to go to Columbus where I bought my last car, at Byers in Grove City, as of yet, I've not had any problems with them.

Yelp
Very pushy about extras. Took about 5 hours after the test drive to sign the paper work. The salesman was very unprofessional. I finally started to leave and that is when they came to finish the paper work. Two days later they stated they messed up the paper work and sent a representative that could not explain what I was signing. Ended up trying to charge 6000 more than original listing price. Been about a month and unable to clarify the paperwork. You would honestly find people more qualified, attentive and know more about a car on Craigslist

Mike E.

Yelp
Uhhhhh no. Just no. Took a car in for service- just an oil change and we were told the car needed nearly $800 worth of simple maintenance stuff. They wanted $92 to change the air filter!! $92 to replace a $20 part??? Seriously? What is wrong with these people?? I completed this job myself in under 5 minutes. They wanted another $90 to replace the cabin air filter. There is no earthly reason these simple jobs should cost over $40, let alone $90. That is just absurd. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to repair your vehicle if it's out of warranty.

Jessica B.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. This place told lie after lie. We signed paperwork on a Saturday and the car was supposed to be their on Monday/Tuesday at the latest. Never called to keep us informed and car to our knowledge showed up days later. Got a new salesmen same crap show, lie after lie. Went to pick up a brand new car (supposedly) and wasn't clean, had scratches on it and there was a speaker missing!! We were told they were waiting while it was getting detailed and go to get in it and it was dirty. OH and I forgot to mention they are also sexist.

Yelp
My first experience leasing 2017 Silverado, not a good one. A salesman lied about running boards that were ordered and did not arrive when I picked up the truck. Also miss informed me about Audio options that I wanted but didn't provide me with.

John M.

Yelp
The absolute worst experience I have ever dealt with trying to buy a truck. They lie to you about what they are giving you. there was a $5000 rebate on the truck but they were trying to take it away because of what they were offering for the trade in. The sales Manager was the rudest and most Arrogant manager I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Roxanne G.

Yelp
DO NOT buy a car from Jeff Wyler!! This has been one of the worst experiences that my husband and I have ever dealt with! I bought a 2017 Malibu from Wyler in 2017 and within the first 2500 miles, it had to have the accelerator pedal replaced due to it being defective. 2 years later and my car is being towed in 2x and or dropped of by me another 3-4 times for the same thing; A FAULTY ACCELERATOR PEDAL This nearly caused me several accidents due to me driving at a normal rate of speed on the interstate and then all of a sudden, the motor goes from 70 to 20 within seconds! There were times that I couldn't turn fast enough because right in the middle of the turn, it would slow down! It's very scary to be driving that vehicle, but I have no choice as we are a one car couple! I have contacted Jeff Wyler several different times in regards to this issue and the only thing that they say to me, over and over, is here is the number to GM. I have that number, tyvm! NO ONE from that dealership has even offered to help me get this thing rolling with GM! At the very least, someone, ANYONE could have called me and offered for me to come into the dealership and sit down and talk with someone face to face, but instead, they just want to continue with the emails and tell me to contact GM!!
