Jeita Grotto

Jeita Grotto is a true natural wonder. The natural beauty of the caves is breathtaking, with stunning stalactites and stalagmites that have formed over thousands of years. The experience is divided into two parts: the upper grotto, where you can walk through the impressive formations, and the lower grotto, where a serene boat ride takes you through a magical underground river.

So basically the place is actually CLOSED for a while now which they don't mention anywhere on the website and such . People come from far away places for it so it's such a let down . Please update your business and take care of it otherwise it's very unprofessional. Other than That the road to the place is quite nice and relaxing .

Different experiences but this place not suitable for kids or people who has breathing issues such as asthma where humidity there is very high. Taking photos or videos not allowed. But place is unique it is inside a mountain To reach mountain you have to park your car and take a train after get tickets

The place is amazing, deeper and more than you can imagine. It's dividend into two grottos the Upper and the lower. You can either hike the round or take the small train to the top of the mountain and enter the Upper Grotto and walk down to the middle of the mountain after and enter the lower. Some of the facilities are in need of repairs. But the Grottos and boats are well maintained. The information boards need renewal but the place is so breath taking that any additional information will just blow your mind. They are very strict about photography and while you can sneak your cellphone in, please be mindful and don't use your camera flash. With the visit, early morning visits recommend since it's less crowded. Enjoy natural beauty at its best!

SubhanAllah, this is one of the most beautiful natural places I have ever been, definitely visit. Be warned though that part of the grotto they make you put your phone in a locker they don't want you taking pictures. There are two main parts. One is a walk through and the other is a boat ride, both amazing and worth doing. Lebanon is such a beautiful country and this showcases it's beauty in a spectacular way

At the upper grotto we had visit on foot with an exciting adventure over a distance of some 700 m from the cave’s total length of 2200 m, spectacular beauty of the extraordinary amazing limestone formations. At the lower grotto, we had a short dreamy boat trip over a distance of some 400 m inside the cave. In some places the cave is so low that we had to duck our heads in the boat. I would highly recommend this place

This is a true world wonderland. I was amazed with what I saw inside. This is a one of a kind place that you won’t find elsewhere in the world. It’s a must visit place for once in your life at least. I will visit again for sure.

A place like no other, breathtaking caves, but unfortunately phones aren't allowed inside. So you have to leave them at some very old lockers. But it's safe
