Jeju FREE Diving School

I loved my first free diving experience with Jeju Freediving School! Even though it was my first week in Korea, the team made me feel like home. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay to dive more days. The people are wonderful, very knowledgeable and gave me specific tips tailored to my needs. The place is beautiful and peaceful, with all the necessary equipment, including an area with mats. The instructors give their full attention and dedication, they made my experience unforgettable, and I learned a lot. I can’t wait to go back!

An absolutely amazing place! Brad, the owner, is friendly, experienced, flexible, and a great teacher. He's the perfect leader for his team of qualified instructors and the vibe at his dive center is legit special. The facilities are clean, safe, and purpose-built. Everything during our four day stay was the perfect balance including safety, hands-on education in the water, necessary classroom theory, great logistical planning & communication via text and face-to-face, and motivational zen community energy. English / Korean bilingual instruction is available. I recommend staying at the nearby accommodation that is run by the same company. Great price and value, very clean, and helps bolster the community spirit that Brad and his team have cultivated (shout out to DJ, Gyuri, YoungGyeong, JoonYoung, etc). It's actually difficult to put into words just how special this place is. I can say it was one of the best memories I could make with my daughters and I'm forever grateful for everyone's hospitality and professionalism. 100% I will return. If you're like me and already scuba-certified or you're just looking for something new, either way this freediving center is worth every penny. Best in Jeju, hands down!

I had a fantastic experience at this freediving center. The instructor is extremely experienced, kind, and takes a truly individual approach with each student, making sure everyone feels supported and confident in the water. The overall atmosphere of the center is very relaxed and welcoming, with a great chill-out vibe that makes it easy to unwind and enjoy the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn or improve their freediving skills!

Just left today, will miss this place until the next time - I’ll say this is one of my best diving experiences ever. All the instructors and staff are professional, hyperdetailed, caring and friendly no matter you are a deep diver or a newbie. English communication is swimmingly smooth, both in casual talk and diving. The environment is chill and cozy, I always would like to stay there for more time even if have already finished the freedive. A huge recommendations to all. I’ll definitely come again.

Jeju Freediving School is the only place on the island where you can get lessons in English with professional guidance. I’ve been to 10+ dive shops around the world, and this one stands out for its professional training and friendly atmosphere. Brad, the owner, speaks perfect English, so it was super easy to communicate and learn. The equipment is in utterly great condition, and they even took GoPro footages for using the latest model, which really helped capture all the fun moments. I spent three days for training and fundiving here and can honestly say it’s a “5-star shop” that will show you the best of Jeju’s underwater world. If you want to have a unique (local) freediving experience in Jeju/South Korea, look no further: Jeju FREE Diving School is the place to be! - Nice center with a laid-back atmosphere, clean showers and decent material - Competent and helpful instructors (English speaking) - Inspiring place. In addition to the training feedback, Brad also takes his time and energy to give life coaching. In my opinion this is the true definition of a good instructor/coach and where FREE diving school makes the difference.

We went to Jeju FREE Diving School to visit and dive the waters of Jeju. We initially went here to have fun and enjoy freediving but got more inspired by our instructor, Nemo. She was knowledgeable and an expert. She also took pretty pictures and videos of us. The center was clean and complete. The instructors and staff were friendly and accommodating. Hopefully, we can visit again next year for a more formal training. Thank you for taking care of us!
