Great place to walk around. Each statue tells of a story. It is a huge area and we can take buggy going round the whole place. But we decided to walk so that we can explore more. Very neat and clean place. We were lucky, since it's the last Wednesday of the month, we can enter the park for free. Beautiful view but it's a hot day too and they do not have any shelter. There's cafe, souvenir shop and drink shop in the vicinity. Ample carpark space outside. There's also a cafe near the carpark.

Amazing experience and one of my highlights in Jeju. We got lucky to come here while a jazz festival was happening so for the whole 3h of walking we got to listen to music. The village is nice , different from other cultural villages like the ones in Busan , Ulsan or Seoul. It's nice to see these "boring" constructions because, when you think of how old they are, and the tools they had while making them, your perception about them changes and they suddenly become way more impressive. Also at the ticket office you can get a map that has a stamp course on it as well so while walking through the park you can discover small stamp boxes and collect all 8 of them. I enjoyed and recommend to everybody to do the forest trail because of the amount of "guardians" which are small rock Statues each eitht different expression.

Wanted to bring my family to experience nature but without too much climbing in case I scare them away from Jeju in the future. Brought them to see the natural stone formations and visit the stone museum. And they liked it a lot. Felt like u had gone back to the medieval times when u stand in the middle of the large grass field or when ur seating underneath the lone tree. And when you look up into the vast open blue sky and feel the breeze on your face and hear the gentle sound of the wind swaying the lush grass fields around you... u know this is THE place.

This is a huge park that is really enjoyable to walk, explore and learn about the volcanic rocks, stones, culture, traditions and stories of Jeju. We were here for 2.5 hours and didn’t manage to cover the park. The park provides stamps for stamp tour as you visit each location and also photo / filming locations of a show filmed here.

We had a great time here! Entry is only 10,000 won per adult and there was so much to see and learn (history, geology, culture, mythology). The whole area is beautiful to walk around and take in the serene landscapes. The park is huge so I’d advise to budget at least 3 hours. There is a recommended route on the park map but if you don’t want to do the whole thing, you can pick and choose what you want to do using the descriptions of each section (e.g. learning about volcanoes, exploring recreations of an ancient village, seeing art created by local artists, etc). Also, most of the outdoor walking is quite exposed so best to bring lots of water and sunscreen in the summer. There are a few cafes and gift shops throughout the park if you want to rest or get snacks.

Nice place, good to walk around. Ticket was around 3k I guess. If you’re going without a car there you will find difficult to reach with bus. If you’re in Jeju for short time I would suggest you to skip this unless you’re very interested in history.

Loved it! Amazing to see the old village and the statues. But also to realise this is what people built centuries ago.
