As we strolled by, this charming spot caught our eye, and we decided to step in for a closer look. It turned out to be a serene place, adorned with a delightful array of tangerine trees in various varieties. We also encountered a few cheerful Malaysian women, joyfully capturing the moment with photos and selfies 🤣

A must visit place when in Jeju. Good place to get the feel of their heritage and way of life in the olden days. It's quick visit here and hardly takes 30mins , within the city and convenient. Just at one end of the jeju underground market.

It was not in our original itinerary to visit Jejumok Gwana but what an unexpected gem ! We came across when we are walking in the Jeju city area, and we really like this place. It’s quiet, beautiful and tranquil. The temple are beautifully built and beautifully maintained! It was a nice slow walk in the garden and we enjoyed it!

Nice little visit. Only takes about an hour to walk through. Has some nice historical data to read about. I liked the depictions it has with the statues. Really put some character to the scene. My only issue was parking. It's very difficult to find parking.

Very nice place to visit if you visit Korea for the first time. I recommend to visit the hanbok traditional clothes rental shop just near by

It is a nice collection of old (and restored) buildings from the Jeseon dynasty times, but if you have seen plenty of buildings on the main land it is not that special. There is though an interesting exhibition at the back of the complex, near the wall, about the history. It also seems to be a popular place to dress up in traditional clothes and take pictures.

This is the symbol of ruling Jekumok during the Jonseon Dynasty but also an important site of the history of Jeju. The place was used as a complex of major administrative buildings since Tamna Kingdom era. The original facilities were destroyed and demolished during the Japanese colonial period. Since 1991, they have made 4 excavation projects and the buildings reconstructed in 2002 and 2006. Nowadays, it shows how communication between people and government worked centuries ago. It is quite common to see local people traditionally dressed taking pictures at the place. The entrance is very cheap, less than 2 dollars. Very important while visiting to take your shoes off before entering the pavilions.

This is the rebuilt public square where official business happened. At some point, it was taken apart, treated and put back together again. I feel I must emphasize this repeatedly, but, as with all historical things, it pays to read all the placards. If you can't read the language, try Papago or Google translate. It makes a huge difference in your understanding and appreciation. Unfortunately, at this pavilion, there isn't a lot of information. We had a guide who gave us a lot of insight into the history and the (often tragic) events that took place there.
