Jēkaba sēta

This little hotel was ideal for exploring Kuldiga's Old Town. Jekaba Seta Hotel and Restaurant is a quaint hotel in Kuldiga, Latvia, with a traditional Latvian restaurant. It offers a wonderful buffet breakfast for its guests. Everything you could want is laid out beautifully with tea, coffee, juice, milk, and a mimosa if you would like. Fantastic sausages and bacon with scrambled eggs, cold cuts, and cheese. Delightful pickles and other relishes, as well as cereal. My favorites were the assortment of sweet rolls. The dinner menu is an exciting mixture of seafood, pork, and beef with flavorful side dishes.

Great place, very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful, they speak good English too. We came with 2 bikes and they were great in helping to make our bikes secure Definitely will stay there again

Very poor wine selection and quality and overpriced. Paid 26€ for a bottle of merlot, which was not enjoyable, when asked if we can bring our own drinks and pay a fee - waitress refused. Food was okay, sweet potato chips were crunchy. Cesar salad needs improvement. Overall if you look for a quiet place with average food, this is place to go.

Unfortunately no images, but we had a room with two single beds. Rooms were clean and well maintained, staff was friendly and spoke great English. The breakfast had great variety, but only for two hours.

It's a nice place to stay and especially: to eat! The restaurant serves extremely delicious food in affordable prices. Portions are giant! A place to be in Kuldiga.

Old world charm, good and bad. The room for was spacious and had that unique Kuldīga old/modern feel. Breakfast spread was great, with good coffee, a great selection of meats and cheeses, fresh eggs, breads and cereals. However facilities were substandard. There was only mildly lukewarm water in the shower, which is unacceptable for a purportedly 3star hotel.

Who get an smile from the waitress should get a free desert!!! Mussels with no very good quality and the garlic sauce is not for them, maybe next time xef could try with meet, potatos or vegs. But that sauce, not anymore with mussels, please!!! And if you order the fried camemberd, you should know that is not fried. Sorry. And all the fresh,, cooked and melted ingredients are tremendously mixted together. Oh no. For the apple pie, you have to wait 14 minutes. It’s good, the best. Sorry, fummetsvan loves recommend restaurants to go, but we can not do it in this case. Such a pity, but a restaurant should be more than a nice deco space.
