Google
One of the best and most complete malls in the western part of Singapore. The recent addition of Don Don Donki and IKEA has significantly increased foot traffic, making the mall even more vibrant. The FairPrice supermarket at the basement level adds great convenience for everyday grocery shopping. Seamless walkway links to nearby malls, the MRT station, and hospitals make it easily accessible and a true one-stop destination for shopping, dining, and essentials.

My wife and I really enjoy the shopping experience at this shopping mall. We like its tenant composition and the shopping ambience therein. We also like that this mall refreshes its tenant mix from time to time and that its facilities and amenities are also updated from time to time. Our favourite stores therein: NTUC (of course), Don Don Donki, Han's, Tai Cheong Bakery and Muji.

Always run out of time at this mall with great atmosphere, dynamic vibes and the amenities under one roof to meet most demographics! Shopping is a joy here, though the basement supermarket does get too crowded on weekends!

Yelp
With this place, there is pretty much no need to travel all the way to town. Food, clothes, toys and electronics, this place has it all. But the food court is the only place that I would avoid, the price and food quality are pretty much inverse with each other.

Yelp
Definitely one of my fav mall in Singapore. Within short distance to MRT and sheltered all the way to IMM, westgate and big box.

Yelp
This shopping has its ups and down. Some say that the "Feng Shui" (Good fortune in Chinese's belief) is not good that's why a number of incidents had happened not long after the mall was opened. But, you know what? That doesn't bother me at all. I enjoy going to Jem for its good variety of restaurants and shops. Even if I get bored with the mall, I can go to the other two; Westgate and Jcube which are not far apart from each other. Among all the 3 malls, this has to be the most crowded especially during peak hours and weekends. I would come here only when the crowd are either at work or in school, that makes walking around much easier especially with the walkway not huge enough to hold lots of people. Trust me, the last thing you want to do is to fight with others for space! Among the malls, this mall has more variety in food than the others. Often, I can't decide what to eat whenever I step into this building.

Yelp
This shopping mall is locates at Jurong East and yes it's consider as a heartland mall. Within this vicinity there is 3 big shopping mall but definitely this is the most popular. JEM is 1 of the popular shopping centre in the west and they have many shops like H &M, Uniqlo, Sephora, Topshop etc and there is a department store Robinson as well. There are many food joint like bangkok jam, gurney drive, laksania, soupspoon, pepper lunch, paris baugett etc so not to worry about getting a meal here. I'm a frequent shopper around this area cause this place has everything I needed so I can just pop over without squeezing the traffic to the town area. But of cause the carpark is always full here. So advice is to pop over in the morning to avoid the crowd. The carpark has large space and it's not cramp at all. If you are around here pop over and you will be aww ....

Yelp
This is the new Orchard of the west. We westies no longer have to travel down an hour just to get a taste of Paris Baguette. This mall has virtually everything. And by that I mean EVERYTHING. Ridiculous wide variety of shops that you typically have to travel to town for but not anymore! Food, clothes, electronics, service centres of telcos... EVERYTHING! However, along with everything comes, EVERYONE! This place is so packed that it is hard to take a leisurely stroll. I have not eaten here as yet but, trust me, it does not look easy to get a table, especially on weekends.

Yelp
This mall is definitely large and in charge. In terms of stores, I would probably say they're similar to the ones at 313 Somerset (more mid-range and mass market.) I do like the layout here, as it's square and easy to navigate. No weird shapes like Vivocity and Ion. Just like it's neighbour Westgate, there are lots of restaurants to choose from, like Bangkok Jam, Mado, and Paris Baguette, to name a few. The food court on the top floor looks fancy schmancy, but still affordable. The movie theatre near said fancy schmancy food court looks solid, and there's a nice rooftop patio if you need some fresh air or if you're looking for a nice view of scenic Jurong (hehe.) Not sure if you're allowed to smoke there, though. There is a link bridge either on the 2nd or 3rd level, which allows you to enter Westgate. However, it's not covered on the sides so I wouldn't advise using it during a heavy downpour, as you WILL get wet from sideways rain and puddles start forming in some of the corners. Overall, I still think Westgate is a nicer mall, but for your basic shopping needs, this'll fit the bill.

Yelp
Beware of indian lady at concierge with orange/blonde hair, around late 20s to early 30s. When you spend $20 & above at Jem, you can get points and accumulate them to get vouchers. Just go to the concierge & give your receipts. Went to the conceige Lv 3 to redeem points from my movie tickets, costs $40+ (4 tickets). Gave her my reciept & she asked for my movie tickets. I was alone & the tickets was with one of my family member who was shopping somewhere. Told her I have my credit card if she need to verify if that reciept was mine. But she insisted she needed the movie tickets, I guess it was policy. Called my brother & few minutes later came with the tickets. She did her stuffs, that was all. Months later I logged into my Jem Rewards account online & saw that the points I received that day was 4 and the shop stated as Fairprice. Only when you shop at Fairprice, the points will 10% of what you spend. Eg. If you spend $100 you will get 10 points. But all other shops will credit you with $1 = 1 point. So im supposed to recieved 40 points. Thought of complaining to the management but the only proof i have is if they check the cctv to see the moment my bro came and handed her the movie tickets. IF they are bothered to check that is. Been seeing this staff for like more than 3 years. Working here that long & me being the only customer, she obviously didn't make a mistake. I wasn't even rude to her which makes it even weirder. Tried to remember her name but positive she didn't wear her nametag. Must be her 'let's trash the customers day'. I've been shopping here 3-4 years. I have never ever encountered anyone who is rude in any shops in the whole of JEM. The most awesome staffs are at Pasta Mania, IndoBox, KFC, Mr. Bean, Fairprice, Watsons, Baskin Robbins. In the end, I can't be bothered with the points anymore. You have to accumulate 800 points for a mere $5 voucher anyway. Thank you all who have read this freaking long review. You guys are such nice & patient people. Cheers~

Yelp
This review is on "Rumah Sayang Cafe" which is located at #B1-41 in JEM. "Rumah Sayang Cafe" is a nasi padang concept, halal & peranakan theme restaurant which is very affordable and delicious. Had their promotional meal for two pax "curry fish head + fried tofu + rice + papadums" at only $20! Highly recommended when you spend your day at at JEM.

Yelp
Check out the food court on the top floor.. a lot of variety. I highly recommend Royal Rojak! As a rojak lover I find myself impressed by the nicely toasted fried fritters, and the customisation available at affordable prices.

Yelp
I like Jem's layout, clear and wide spaces to shop around (not so obvious with the sea of people, though). Clothes-wise, there was everything from sports attire to working clothes to accessories. It was a kind of shopping haven for me (Mango had huge discounts, Uniqlo and H&M next to each other, Topshop Topman, Accessorize, Swarovski etc.) Amazing, the array of choices. With huge dicounts and sales, no wonder the Jem was full (me loving the marked-down prices during this GSS, of course) Then there's the food- usual fast-food chains like KFC, bakeries like Prima Deli, BreadTalk and Four Leaves, Old Chang Kee, Famous Amos, mr. bean, soguru, to higher-end ones like So Pho, Xian De Lai and Din Tai Fung and others like Rumah Sayang and Mando Cafe. Every place was packed, especially at the restaurants where long queues formed (there still was, well after 8 pm) I have no qualms about the lifts (quick and shuts fast), though the escalators were a bit of a squeeze (get my foot in first!) a MAJOR GRIPE was the absence of ATMs. It said "coming soon". Only UOB and POSB were operating. Nearest ATM was at the MRT itself, with a long line. Sigh. Given a chance, though, I will go on. Haven't had enough! :D
