One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Extremely well located directly above the MRT and directly across the road from one of the most used bus stops. Hundreds of shops nearby for any food you’re craving. Excellent restaurant inside the hotel. The beds are the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, the air con works perfectly, excellent TV channels available, the PERFECT strong shower pressure, amenities and TOTO toilet are fantastic. The hotel services staff are so kind and generous, they made towel animals for us, the room and all of the hotel is exceptionally spotlessly clean. They left a present for my mums birthday when they saw the birthday cards. Nothing to fault at all. 5 stars for everything 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very good location with all main access to majority of train lines just below. A trendy hotel situated at the 10th floor so it can be a bit of a walk to your room from ground in and out if you need something so best go to the 7/11 nearby and stock up. A mall / train station is located below in the same building with plenty of restaurants and options for dining, shopping, taking the train around the city. The staff of this establishment is what stands out the most for me with their above excellent services, treatment, warm demeanor, and general all roundedness in making my stay and interaction with them very comfortable. A few key points listed below for anyone looking at this property to stay: The Staff: 1. Very friendly & helpful 2. Attentive 3. Well spoken & elegantly composed The hotel room: 1. Selected City View room. Excellent Views. Good value for room rate offered. 2. Room is a bit small but this is typical for most newer hotel rooms nowadays with space saving designs such as incorporating the bathrooms and bedroom into one space separated only by a thin wall of privacy glass. This goes for the toilet as well so expect smells to travel into your bedroom unfortunately. 3. The AC is not cold and not strong due a motion sensor installed and runs only when it detects someone in the room. Evidently, the outside lobby is much colder than the room itself. Its already extremely hot outside and last thing we want to do end of the day is return to an even hotter room. 4. The shower pressure is not strong due to water conservation efforts by most hotels today. 5. Beds are super hard and pillows are super soft. May be a preference to some but wasn’t for me. 6. The in-room phone wasn’t working so it was a super long walk to reception if something was needed. 7. Luggage rack won’t hold a full-size suitcase when fully open has this awkward half on half hanging when suitcase is fully opened. Suited only for carry ons. 8. Daily cleanup is very CLEAN & friendly. The cleanup crew deserves 5 star credit for their work. In summary, Room was comfortable/acceptable enough for a quick few days stay. Be ready for some warm moments in the room after an extremely hot day outside. Room AC was the only -1 star of this review but is expected of most “green saving/energy conscious establishments” of this day and age but 5 star service from the people running this place. Overall, enjoyable and will return again as the hotel is in a fantastic centralized area, convenient, & super excellent staff.

Beautiful hotel, very conveniently located beside a metro which are so easy to use. There’s a lift straight down which we discovered. Rooms are great, have everything you need including a really good hairdryer and filter water. Bed very comfy. Roof top pool is beautiful, lovely seating area and beds and fantastic views of MSB. There’s a gym up there too tho we didn’t use. Breakfasts were great, so much choice and really good quality. Hotel is really clean and staff are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Singapore!

Overall, it was a good experience. However, there were some challenges. Due to some issues with the rooms, we had to move rooms 2 times, but hotel staff were very accommodating. One factor was that there is a nightclub in a nearby building, which was noisy until late at night. Other than that, breakfast was good, and effort was made to accommodate dietary restrictions. Mavis, in particular, was a great ambassador. She checked in daily with us at breakfast and gave us great local recommendations. Lastly, the rooftop pool was a relaxing and fun vibe with views of the city and landmarks.

The room offers a beautiful view and access to two rooftop swimming pools with depths of 0.9m and 1.2m—perfect for both relaxation and light swimming. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, successfully fulfilling my boss’s request to have our rooms on the same floor. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options—including ice cream available even in the early morning. A robot was used to deliver towels and slippers to the room, adding a nice touch of AI innovation to the stay. Housekeeping quickly set up the sofa bed; however, it would have been better if it was prepared before we entered the room, especially since the booking clearly stated that three guests would be staying.

We have booked a Deluxe Room - Kingsize Bed for three adults. The Check-in was a little slow. Plenty of space, clean, comfortable bath and comfortable beds. Breakfast was plentiful with everything you need without much delay. The pool on the top is truly fantastic, and the Pool Bar has everything to make experience unique. Access to the hotel is very easy from the airport by taxi or transport. For day trips the station is just downstairs from the hotel. The only big problem was that the 1500€ deposit we had paid at check-in was returned after 15 days. Consequently our credit card was blocked.

Google
Check-in was disappointing. Reception was unfriendly. They say they’ll message you when your room is ready, but don’t count on it. Do yourself a favor and just ask for the key after 3 pm. The club lounge was hit-or-miss. Tea time included cakes, but there were no serving spoons, and at one point, no utensils at all. Refills were slow, and during cocktail hour on National Day, only a small amount of sushi was served despite the large crowd. The room and housekeeping, however, were excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jen Singapore Orchardgateway, it proved to be a fantastic base for us to explore the city with the MRT station right underneath the hotel made it very easy and hassle free for us to navigate our way around. The hotel has a fabulous roof top pool and bar, the images we saw prior to our arrival simply didn’t do it justice, it was a great space to relax during the day right I to the evening to escape the hustle and bustle and relax. The hotel buffet was extensive with both western and Asian options to enjoy. The rooms were large, with fantastic views of the city with well thought out room amenities and bathroom. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore

Yelp
Super convenient location: take the lobby level elevator down and you can end up at the entrance of the Somerset subway station, or the ground level where you can walk the mall, or take numerous buses that could all take you everywhere you want to go. Roof top pool is not super crowded and I could always find a cabana spot. Pool service is the same as other hotel services, very friendly, and they make great cocktails. The room has very comfortable beds and beddings. For some reason, although the room is small as all Singapore hotels are, we couldn't hear anybody walking in the hallway. Breakfast isn't too good of a value if you have a choice, but it's convenient.

Yelp
Clean, modern, comfortable, nice, accessible/convenient. Service both in person, on the phone, front desk, pool deck, housekeeping were all excellent, just like what I'd expect from Shangri-la. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Singapore. If I'm in on-the-go traveler mode, this is the perfect spot. If more slow/chill/hangout vibe, the Shangri-la which is a farther drive out from the Orchard shopping area. Other notes - Food was great! Loved any local offerings like congee and sambal rice.

Yelp
I didnt know this jewel was located in the middle of the city. It's on the 10th floor of The Orchardgateway. An oasis in a middle of a crowded Singapore. The place was clean and modern. Loved the rooms, the corridor was wide and 5 start ambience. Superior Rooms were big and fully equipped, mine came with twin beds. The cistern was also equipped with a device for you to wash up, like the ones you get in Japan. Loved it. Ask for city view if you can. You can see the whole city from your room. Get a better view from the roof top pool area. The infinity pool is on the 19th floor so is the gym. Overall a great stay in a beautiful city. Also the main shopping belt in just below the hotel on the street level.

Yelp
I like this hotel. It is a very modern, well-maintained hotel, where the staff is very nice. I have been coming to Singapore since 1980 and have stayed at most of the high-end hotels throughout these years. I spent a week at this hotel and was very satisfied with my stay. The rooms are very well-designed. They are kept very clean and are very functional. Is this hotel perfect? No. But, what it has to offer is a truly nice lodging experience. Not only are the rooms very nice in this hotel but it has other features to offer its guests, as well. One of the most notable is the infinity pool on the 19th floor. This pool and the surrounding reclining seats and cabana lounges are a great place to kick back and take the edge off of the day. They also have a very nice bar next to the pool where you can enjoy a cocktail. The restaurants and the lounges in this hotel are also very good. The food is very well prepared and the chefs provide a great variety of choices for the guests to enjoy. As stated, is this hotel perfect? No. There are a few things that could be improved. Perhaps one of the most notable is that the staff here is very young. Though I am sure this hotel provides a great opportunity for the young people of Singapore, who hope to get into hotel management, but due to their youth they miss some of the understandings that a more seasoned staff member would possess. For example, this hotel tends to clean its rooms rather late in the day. Personally, I enjoy coming back to a clean room in the early afternoon to regroup. I arrived at about two o'clock on one of the first days I was staying here and my room had not been cleaned. I went downstairs to the main desk and asked when I could expect to have my room taken care of. They told me that it would happen immediately and that I would never have to worry about this happening again -- that they would make sure that my room was one of the first rooms that was taken care of throughout the rest of my stay. Great! This did not happen, however. Approximately four days later I again returned in the early afternoon, hoping to enjoy a made-up room, and found that they had not even gotten close to taking care of it yet. Again, I had to go to the main desk and ask when my room would be cleaned. This is certainly no big deal. But, I believe that a more seasoned staff would not make a promise to a guest that would not be kept. The other experience I had is when I asked a couple of questions about on-goings in Singapore and the staff had no idea what I was taking about. Though the were very nice in their answers, a more seasoned professional would have taken the time to find the answer for a guest. Other than that, this is a really nice hotel. It has a great location in Singapore and it will provide you with a great stay.

Yelp
Outstanding location in Singapore, lots of local shopping... Hotel staff and accommodations were great, price is fair, kid friendly, outstanding staff and customer service.

Yelp
This hotel is super well located, walking distance to major tourist attractions. From Changi airport, just catch bus 36 it will drop you across the street. Next door there is a huge mall and on the 4th floor they have a republic food court, which offers many yummy options to eat. There is also a Kaya place in the first floor of 313 mall next to the hotel, which offers amazing kaya toasts. The rooftop pool is awesome. Rooms are confortable and house keeping staff is the best of the bests. I will come back!

Yelp
We recently stayed at Hotel Jen and we booked one regular room and one in the panoramic view room 1611. The room was fantastic, the perks that came along with the panoramic room was great. I love the location; close to the train station, mall, food (from hawker to fine dining). Breakfast buffet had good variety of food. Staff that attended to us were excellent. The only complain was the regular room that was booked for another member of our party, 1614. They tried to resolve it but it didn't quite work until the last night. Overall experience was wonderful and will stay again if I ever come back and it will be the panoramic view room again.

Yelp
The best part of the hotel is its location - it is above the Somerset MRT station which makes exploring the island very easy. I stayed on the 11th floor, not much of a view but the room is clean, a good size for 2 and comes with most of the amenities including slippers and bottle water. They offer $30 a bag laundry service, however with taxes and services charges, it came to about $40 a bag which I still think it is pretty worth it considering we put a lot of clothes in there. I also held my wedding lunch at the Phoenix function room on the 19th floor. The function room has a good view of the city. The price for the event is reasonable and the food is good. I got positive comments regarding the food from my family and friends. The staff are friendly and is able to accommodate most of my requests. The only complain I have is they should have pitcher of drinks on the tables instead of asking the servers to bring the drinks each time.

Yelp
Second time I stayed here. Located on Orchards Avenue, atop a large shopping and dining arcade, but absolutely quiet inside the hotel entrance, lobby and rooms. Clean, pretty modern rooms and amenities inside. Wonderfully heavy drapes and quiet, efficient a/c so you clean sleep off your jetlag while the sun blazes outside. The rooftop infinity pool and lounge area are great to relax and refresh. The iced water in the lobby is a wonderful consideration, and the breakfast buffet is enormously varied (even ice creams at 6 a.m.). Entrance and lobby staff are very friendly and helpful, and there's an ATM in the entrance. A double, twin-bed room was $220/night a week. I'll be back!

Yelp
Pool and pool area great view Peter great staff. Good service. Very pleasant and professional. Lasagna was really tasty. Chef should add 2 more Lawyers noodles and ricotta and it would blow your socks off. Burger. For what they charge they shouldn't use frozen meat. I think it's a crime when restaurants come so close to being great with minor changes. This place could triple their business if they made just a minor changes. And would get nothing but compliments, staff in while hotel are spot on. Everything else was great. Staff gets 6 stars.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Clean and large comfortable rooms.. wonderful people!! Mavis in the restaurant dining hall was the most kind and gracious host. She even offered to fix me a goodie bag for my long flight home.. I will definitely be back (bc of work) and will for sure book this place again.. Other things to note. Hotel Jen is located right by the bus and train.. there is also lots of shopping and food literally just as you get outside the elevator on the basement level... Breakfast at the hotel was free and was amazing! Lots of local food but also lots of not so local food..

Yelp
Very lous buffet as the spread are limited. No hot items except kuek pie. Milo is very thin and the beef steak are so small that my children age 11 & 12 are very hungry during the lunch. There is a hair on the ice-cream. The waiter just took the ice-cream and don't even explain. The manager don't want to come to our table to listen to the feedback. Worse service and food not worth to pay for such buffet.

Yelp
This is my second time staying here, usually one week each time I say. I decided to get my laundry done, they listed at $30 per bag of laundry so I stuffed a bunch of Laundry into a bag and it came back with appx $130 in charges, they apparently had itemized it without me knowing (apparently there's several sheets of paper) I asked if they could review/adjust it because that was just outrageous but they refused. On top of it, there seems to be some issues with mold or leakage. Several of my co workers had to ask to move rooms because of an odd smell. There was ionizers everywhere. I'm very disappointed in Hotel Jen since esp since they done care about repeat customers.

Yelp
Just off the heart of Orchard Rd this recently refurbished hotel does what it does well. It is close to all the shopping you can handle, provides a generous breakfast buffet and most importantly clean, modern rooms with soft comfy beds and duvets. In typical Singapore style the rooms are compact. In fact if you want to squeeze in an extra single bed you will need an upgrade to a larger room. These come with extra large showers which seem rather pointless. They aren't set up to service disabled access and the shower head is too miserly to cover the shower space, so it will seem cold unless you are directly under the shower head. At least there is plenty of complimentary bottled "oxygenated water" provides in the bare bones mini-fridge. There is no stocked minibar which is good if you have little children. Singapore is hot year-round so make sure you top up a water bottle with crushed ice and water from the corridor dispensers - a life saver and environmentally smart too. As for the obligatory pool, Hotel Jen follows the trend and has put in an infinity pool that spans the rooftop. There is a large wading section at 0.5m deep and the rest is 1.2m. Don't try to dive. Unfortunately the infinity pool effect is spoilt by a large glass barrier but I guess that is necessary if you want to build the pool to the edge. Service is prompt and pleasant, with lots of hip young customer service agents at the Level 10 Lobby. There is no dedicated concierge - all the staff multitask which is efficient but can have issues. The only let down is the baggage counter on Level 1 which with only one staff member can easily be overwhelmed. Not a great thing especially when the security of your luggage is at risk.

Yelp
Great, modern hotel right in the heart of Orchard Road. It's connected to the MRT station as well as the OrchardGateway shopping complex. Within walking distance to many other shopping and eating experiences. Our Superior Room w/ city view was on the 17th floor and had a great view which included the Marina Bay Sands. The room itself is very modern and included plenty of storage for a weeks stay, as well as many outlets for charging 110/220 V as well as USB. The aVision app they utilize on the TV is very user friendly and features many channels as well as your invoice information, room messages, etc. The linens and pillows are top notch and very comfy. The etched glass bathroom cubicle adds a modern touch and features modern fittings with an adjustable height shower head. If you are traveling across the city, it's easy to go downstairs to the MRT, or just hail a taxi from the 1/F lobby. Overall, we were impressed with the hotel staff, amenities, and our stay here. We look forward to visiting again. Cons: 1. No bell hop service to fetch your bags from the lobby, or from your room. 2. We were told that we would sign into the wifi using last name as a password, but in fact the wifi is just open with no protection. Bring your own security app(s).

Yelp
Great location, with direct access to Orchard Central and Somerset MRT (B1). Great selection for buffet breakfast. Charging boxes for mobile devices was really innovative. Free use of bamboo bikes to tour the city was cool. Awesome view of the Singapore skyline at the 19th floor. Fast and free wifi. Free ice and water dispenser along the hallway. Vending machine along the hallway too.

Yelp
hidden urban oasis baywatch @ jen! lovely city views and inexpensive drinks. definitely worth a good evening with bunch of friends.
