JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La

We had a lovely stay, the staff were kind, friendly, and very attentive throughout. They were especially thoughtful and accommodating for our family with a young toddler, which made such a difference. The rooms were generally fine, though the floors could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. The location is great for a family with young kids, as the hotel is connected to the local shopping mall, making it very convenient for food, shopping, and entertainment. Overall, we really appreciated the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, which made our stay enjoyable.

My fiancé booked a room for us to get over a Fukuoka holiday and to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary at Hotel Jen Singapore and had a lovely stay. We chose it in view of its central location and convenience. The experience was made extra special thanks to Scholastica and Yin Yin, who were both attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Complimentary upgrade and the well decorated and stocked up (macarons, rainbow cake slice and red wine) room took us completely by surprise. Their thoughtful service and warm hospitality really stood out and made us feel well taken care of. Thank you for making our anniversary celebration memorable — we truly appreciated it and would be happy to return! 💙

We had a great time in Singapore, with incredibly comfortable accomodation to boot. The JEN’s staff are very welcoming, friendly, and professional. From the cleaners to the porter, everyone’s been a great help. Especially the concierge, Weida, who helped us book and organise our day trip to Malaysia. He kept in touch with us the whole day to check in on us, and ensure that we were safe and well looked after. I think Weida really sealed the deal on our impressions of this hotel, thanks again Weida.

Giving this room 5 stars simply because the staff are amazing and were always helpful. They let us check in early as we had baby with us, gave us breakfast and booked us taxis. Although the room is on the cosier size, it was comfortable. Good location, easy taxis everywhere. Nice feel to the hotel lobby and the pool is quite nice too. Would be great to have some large shade sails over the pool to stay shaded while swimming :)

I don’t normally write reviews, but this experience deserves one for the following reasons : ||I had the opportunity to stay at JEN Singapore Tanglin, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience.||A special thank you to Francis, En, and Ella for being exceptionally attentive and ensuring my stay was truly memorable. I genuinely appreciate service teams who anticipate my needs, and this team certainly did.||On my arrival day, I was pleasantly surprised with an early check-in. I originally came to the hotel planning to leave my luggage and walk around while waiting for my room. However, Francis delighted me at the end of the check-in process when he said, “You can check in — your room is ready.” That gesture alone was a huge plus, especially knowing how high the demand and occupancy usually are at this hotel.||In the evening, I headed up to Level 17 to check out the Club Lounge. They offered a nice selection of food, and despite rushing against time, I managed to spend about an hour enjoying the beautiful views and relaxing ambiance. It was the perfect way to wind down my first day.||The following day, I woke up early to avoid the breakfast rush. The spread was great — J65 truly spoiled me with its variety of delicious options. I must say the selection was well above the standard buffet experience. My only regret was that my eyes were jealous that I couldn’t try everything!||Since my flight was in the evening, I tried my luck requesting a late check-out, and they generously accommodate it. This gave me some much-needed extra rest after a long day of sightseeing. I’m truly grateful, and this gesture definitely adds to the reasons I will return.||Once again, please take good care of Francis, En, and Ella for their lovely and exceptional service. Keep it up, and great job to the entire team.

We booked the Jen Tanglin having had a positive experience at their sister hotel in Orchard Gateway and weren't disappointed. Our room had club lounge access and we found the food on offer in the evenings to be sufficient that we didn't eat out. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, and the choices are plentiful and suiting all nationalities. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with a small sofa which was perfect and not having to sit on the bed to relax/read. The pool is a great size and reminiscent of a resort type pool, towels are provided and a lifeguard is on duty. You are able to order food/drinks which we didn't partake in and can't offer comment on the menu options. Staff were exceptional, polite, friendly and attentive. Special mentions to Allesandro (Alex) who was one of the nicest people we've met and looked after us in the lounge as did Daniella and En. Suzy at reception was delightful and helpful and all are a credit to the hotel. The MRT is across the street and we used this to get to/from the airport and travel to the other parts of the city. Of note, the journey from the airport cost us the equivalent of 12c (AUD) - we used our credit/debit cards to tag on/off. We would certainly recommend Jen Tanglin and to consider the club rooms if it's within budget.

Our stay at JEN Tanglin Singapore was exceptional from start to finish. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the city, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was the incredible staff. A special shout‑out to Kim, the chef, whose warm personality and cheerful energy ensured we started every morning with a smile. His breakfasts were a highlight of our trip. And Amy, our wonderful waitress, impressed us with her attentiveness — we never waited more than five seconds for anything. Their genuine care and professionalism elevated our entire experience. We can’t wait to return.

We loved our stay. Very easy access from metro station and easy walk back from Orchard St. Great pool - 30 metres long. All pool, reception and concierge staff were very respectful, friendly and helpful. We loved the free use of the bikes for a nice ride along Singapore River. The room we had was very clean, modern and spacious. We were lucky to get late check out and overall we found this hotel to be great. Would definitely stay again.
