Every Jeni's that I've been to, across the country, has been a consistently fantastic experience, and this spot is no exception. It’s massive and immaculately clean, with wonderfully kind and friendly employees who welcome you in and offer samples. There’s a ton of seating all around, and a great people watching spot in the neighborhood. Every flavor is fresh and delicious. I went for a waffle cone with some of their seasonal fall flavors which really hit the spot. Love the creativity, creaminess, and massive flavor bursts from their ice creams. Highly recommend this spot for some great ice cream!

Google
My favorite ice cream experience. I’m a foodie and loved getting 8 half scoops and savoring their unique creations! All 8 flavors were awesome! Tropical Bloom was our top pick though.

David Birdsall

Google
Best ice cream in the city, by far. Amazing selection, and a cookbook to make them yourself! Staff was awesome and we bought 3 extra pints to go to enjoy at home.

Jun Murphy

Google
Jeni’s ice cream is Splendid! I love well made food and the pastel color palette of all-natural ingredients.

Google
Located in a cute shopping area, this ice cream place is pretty good! It is a chain (I thought it was a local place) and very expensive, but good vibes. Paid street parking.

Google
First-time visiting, and the customer service was amazing. I didn't catch the gentleman's name, but he was so nice and let me taste all the flavors. He was very detailed about what was included and how it was made. I ended up getting the toasted s'mores flavor of the day/month, and let me tell you, that salted peanut butter with chocolate speckles was to die for! I will definitely be back.

Google
For me, Jeni's is the best ice cream in St. Louis. The different flavors (get the Blackout Cake if you like chocolate, trust me), the smooth and silky texture.... Just perfection, every time. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Google
If you have never been to Jeni's, you've got to check it out. They have so many original flavors, including dairy free and gluten free options! The dairy-free options are Coconut based if they're not a sorbet ; I personally am not usually a fan of coconut-based ice creams, however, I did find that the Texas sheet cake one wasn't overly coconutty!

Yelp
When I say this is my favorite ice cream place, I definitely mean it! One of the things that sticks out to me about Jeni's is the crazy unique flavors of their ice creams and how they always manage to pair multiple flavors together to create this amazing experience! I also love that this is one of the only ice cream places that I've seen in St. Louis that does not use artificial colors and dyes in their ice cream, it's all natural! All the staff members that I have ever talked to, no matter the time of day, are always really nice and professional.

Yelp
Jeni's is always a good idea. They have such fun flavors all the time, and I haven't been disappointed yet! The strawberry was so so so good. And so was the double dough! I love that they have so many dairy free options now too. Service is always great. They are so attentive and quick! Plenty of seating inside to escape the heat outside.

Yelp
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in the Central West End is everything you need & more. This spot will offer all your ice cream needs. The length of the room is nothing but hand scooped ice cream- my fave! You will find something to tickle your fancy here Forsure. You can get a cup of ice cream or they offer different sizes of sugar cones & waffle cones! Yum Go down the line, get one, two or three scoops. Mix & match or stick to your one fave. Treat yourself! This spot is super cute, modern & has PLENTY of seating for either a small date night or for your group of bachelorette parties! You won't go wrong by stopping & grabbing a sweet treat here.

Yelp
It is that time of year when ordering ice cream- the perfect treat to relieve that heatstroke! (lol). I came here last night and ordered my favorite flavor, the brambleberry, and gooey butter in a waffle cone. I ordered a pint of the brambleberry ice cream to go as well for later enjoyment. I love Jeni's ice cream always! I like this ice cream chain more than the other STL chain in the city. I highly recommend this shop if you want to treat yourself to delicious ice creams! The service is fast, and the store is spacious enough to accommodate plenty of people dining inside.

Yelp
I'm so glad for Yelp introducing me to this place. Myb son and I love their ice cream. He gets the blackout chocolate cake while I get the lavender and rainbow. The little waffle they put on your scoop is delicious. I always leave with a pint, but this weekend, it'll be two. The staff is always nice and patient. The place is such a cute little vibe. If you haven't been here, what are you waiting for?! Depending on the time you come, parking may not be the best. Earlier, the better.
google avatar

Allison P.

Yelp
the gooey butter cake brings me back every time!! I used to live right near here, and became obsessed! they always have great rotating flavors, along with a few dairy free or sugar free options. A little on the pricier side, but i am always glad i did it

Yelp
I'm not a chain person but ok Jeni...the lemon bar dairy free ice cream was great. This is a buzzing spot in the Central West End in St. Louis. We stopped in the other night for an ice cream after dinner. Jeni's is a renowned American ice cream company founded in 2002 by Jeni Britton. It's known for unique flavors tweaked by Jeni from 2002 to 2005. Starting in Columbus, Ohio, Jeni's expanded nationally, maintaining the commitment to excellence and sustainability, becoming a Certified B Corporation for social and environmental leadership. Let's add some pupcups to the mix.
google avatar

Ilesha S.

Yelp
The flavors are awesome! Jeni's is always a great place to go, especially after dinner. Their new Texas sheet cake is absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend. Also, even though we went on a Sunday night, the line was almost to the door, but the employees are really good about being efficient and you get through the line pretty quickly.street parking is available, but I can imagine it would be hard to find a busy weeknight or weekend so definitely keep that in mind when you're making a trip out Also, I just found out that they can add sprinkles to your ice cream so that's a win :-)
google avatar

Sunny P.

Yelp
Perfect stop on a hot summer day. Came with a friend to chit chat and tried a few flavors! I like they have dairy free vegan options too. I got the Texas sheet cake which was vegan but still sooooooo delicious and full of chocolate flavor. Interior was very clean and service was nice!

Yelp
Having been here more than a few times and trying several flavors, I am now confident that Darkest Chocolate in a Waffle Bowl is the go-to dessert here. This flavor is deep and rich, strong Chocolate flavor, but not overly sweet and it doesn't leave an after taste which I appreciate. Most ice creams leave you with a feeling that you must have water afterwards, but Jenni's does not and that is what stands out to me the most about this ice cream. Would love to see more locations become available in the future. This place is great for a random afternoon treat.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
Is it good? Sure, in small quantities as it's super rich. Is it $9 for a whole scoop good? Eh...I don't know about that. I had the brown butter almond brittle and coffee "half scoops" which amounts to a small serving of ice cream that fits in the palm of your hand. After tax and tip it was around $9. Call me crazy but If I'm spending $9 on ice cream, I'd rather go to Ted Drewe's and get a huge concrete with fresh fruit to eat and then take home and enjoy over a couple of nights. Cute place but I wouldn't go back.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
We are big on the chocolate ice cream scene in St. Louis. Stopping here to say my toddler has declared his favorite ice cream. It is the milkiest chocolate at Jenni's. Seriously all flavors are perfect! You won't be disappointed when you select options that are of your preference. It is a great place to gather with friends or families for a quick connection. If you like books you can go next door to roam around Left Bank Books.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Oh yeah, this place is GOOD! Ice cream is rich, tasty, and the folks working there are great! This is what ice cream should be!

Yelp
I love Jeni's! The workers are so kind and helpful and know the ice cream flavors so well. Even though Jeni's is on the pricier side, they have different kinds of novelty ice creams and creative takes on classic flavors. You can get samples before trying a new flavor, so there's no risk in exploring different options. They recently launched a new "Pink Stargonaut" collection of different flavors. They brought back Supermoon, which was discontinued a few years back but used to be my favorite. Of all their ice creams, Supermoon is still my favorite flavor. It is described marshmallow and candied violet flavored, but there is no way to fully encapsulate the yumminess of Supermoon ice cream! I also got a scoop of their Milkiest Chocolate and Fluffernutter Pie. Both of these were perfectly creamy. The Fluffernutter Pie had a little crunch to it, which was the roasted peanut butter and pie crust pieces. My only criticism is that their waffle bowls and cones are not the best. They are a little salty and less sweet, which makes for a weird combination. It still compliments the ice cream, but I probably wouldn't get a waffle bowl again. Overall, a cute stop in the CWE and is a perfect sweet treat for people of all ages!

Yelp
Happily I ended up in St. Louis for a quick trip. This round, I paired the peanut butter and the bramble berry. Yum! It was quiet on a weeknight, which was perfect to chill solo.

Yelp
It's hard to go wrong with a stop at Jeni's and this location is charmingly located next door to a great bookstore. We were pleased to find that they had a few non dairy options on hand so our little guy was able to have ice cream for the first time during this visit! The space is great with communal tables and a long high top facing out onto the sidewalk. I had my favorite- the peaches with biscuits and sweet cream (so good!) in a waffle cone. The only nugget of feedback I have is that the pricing for a kids cone /single scoop is fairly pricey/almost the same as two scoops which was surprising. It seems like something the staff would mention when ordering but it wasn't noted as a kids scoop on the menu. Overall, another lovely visit to Jeni's. It's been so fun to watch this business take off over the years.

Yelp
Awesome service here, I went during the week right before they closed. Got the Cheesecake pint to go and loved it. Will be going back soon

Yelp
One of the best ice creams had in the recent times. I heard very good reviews about them and it's a worth visit to experience
google avatar

Yelp
Way too much sugar. I am not a fan. Minimum 2-scoops. Flavors are ok. Nice place. Service was fast.

Yelp
Simply the best! I love Jeni's ice cream and make sure to come for a couple scoops whenever I'm in town! The service is always friendly and the ambiance is upbeat and pleasant! I have many pictures of my ice cream from Jeni's but I'll share the most recent one with two of the autumn limited time flavors - mint chocolate chip and Boston cream pie ! Both flavors were delicious and I wish they had them all year round!
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Was in the area and had a craving for ice cream so my husband and I took the kiddos to Jeni's. This was our first time and definitely won't be our last! Flavors we had included the pumpkin seed and rye cookie, gooey butter cake, darkest chocolate and lemon bar all in waffle cups! We also ended up purchasing the lemon bar and wildberry lavender pints to go. Workers were also really nice and the place was clean. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a sweet treat.

Yelp
TLDR: Go to Jeni's with a friend or two. Order a flight with 10 flavors of your choice. Debate which flavor is the best, but concede to the fact that they're all outstanding. Order a pint (or 3) to take home! The quality of Jeni's is next to none and they offer a variety of flavors to serve every type of palette, including many non-dairy options. The atmosphere is bright and open with plenty of seating inside. We enjoyed the flight and the ability to select a whopping 10 flavors to try - flight includes a handful of waffle cone wedges as well. Highly recommend if you're new to Jeni's or just want an ice cream adventure date!

Yelp
Mercy. This place is amazing. We had great service. The guy who served us was really nice and gave us the whole run down including details about how each flavor was made.
google avatar

Shirley D.

Yelp
This was my first trip to this ice cream shop. I am dairy-free so I was happy I had choices! I ordered "The Standard" bowl which is two scoops and can be mixed with different flavors. I went with the dairy-free Texas Sheet Cake. (FYI...may be dairy free but I question if it is vegan). Yuuuuummmm!!! So chocolatey! Tastes like a creamy brownie. Loved the little waffle triangle added to the bowl. My friends got several fun flavors to share. There is plenty of seating. The lighting is bright and the atmosphere is inviting. The employees behind the counter are helpful in helping you choose your flavors and will give you samples to help you make your decision.
google avatar

Jaz M.

Yelp
Lots of street parking is available. Upon entering the lovely smell hits you immediately. There were more flavors than I expected and Lauren was very helpful with her knowledge. I end up taking a pint of the buttered almonds ice cream. The flavors were well distributed and the ice cream wasn't overly sweet or milky tasting. Recommended.
google avatar

Julie A.

Yelp
Bear I'm mind I'm not an ice cream person...that being said tasty ice cream with unique flavors. I do prefer clementine's tho. It's a nice stroll from left bank books to Jeni's. Physical location is cute. Parking in the CWE annoys me.
google avatar

Halley S.

Yelp
My partner and I were fortunate enough to stop by Jeni's during their space-themed ice cream event. The new space themed fruit flavors were super bright and delicious (I only tried them because of the kind, knowledgeable staff). I would recommend the Cosmic Bloom (mandarin) flavor if available. Of the core flavors, I would recommend the brambleberry crisp any day of the week!
google avatar

Yelp
Was down in CWE today, ducked into Jeni's for a treat. The 'goat cheese and cherries' is my all time favorite...IT'S BACK!! Not only did they have it back, it was in a to-go pint option, and of course it came home with me. I enjoyed the white chocolate peppermint & salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks - single bowl today while watching traffic on Euclid. Love CWE, kinda miss living there sometimes. Ice cream is the perfect treat regardless of season, day, or time. Stop by and check them out!!

Ben W.

Yelp
This is a MUST stop for me anytime I am around one. Love the variety and outside the box flavors. Service is always top notch and even if the line is long the wait never is.

Janae A.

Yelp
If you're looking for an all around great experience check Jeni's Ice Creams out. I definitely had to give this place 5 stars. The service was friendly, my ice cream was delicious, and the shop was really cute. Perfect for a chilled date night, a meet up with friends or family, or a sweet treat for yourself. Btw: you MUST try the Brown Butter Almond Brittle ice cream.
google avatar

Alyssa J.

Yelp
Jeni's is easily my favorite 'craft' ice cream shop!!! I can't say enough how much I love their ice cream / environment / marketing etc. I have been to a variety around the US and still my favorite one is the Central West End location. The service never disappoints there & everyone is always friendly & eager to help when you can't decide because all the flavors are way too good. Samples are of course a must! The waffle cones or bowls are worth the hype - they add an extra bit of cinnamon which compliments it well. They are to die for & my favorite part!! Top three all time favorite flavors: - milkiest chocolate -rose sorbet -buttercream birthday Honestly any you decide on will not disappoint!! They always have great local events too with themed days. Can't help but leave there with a smile on your face.
google avatar

Kathi W.

Yelp
What can I say? It's ice cream! Delicious, creative flavors. And being able to get half-scoops means just that much more goodness in a cone or bowl!

Vanessa B.

Yelp
The most amazing flavors. Try something outside of your go to. These flavors are like a diamond in the rough of ice cream!
google avatar

Lexi G.

Yelp
The gooey butter cake ice cream is my favorite!!! I don't usually like lavender or fruity flavors, but they lavender is really good! Another fav for dairy free peeps is the Texas sheet cake - super chocolatey, but hey, it has no milk so I'll take it! The second you walk in, the scent hits you like a million happy smiles. It smells so good and feels so light and happy!
google avatar

Tania A.

Yelp
I was looking for a delicious ice cream place nearby and came upon this one on Yelp! The decor is modern and really cute vibes. They offer tastes of their different flavors. We tasted the Brown Butter Almond Brittle and the Honey Vanilla Bean and they were amazing. They have lots of very creative flavors and this weekend they have an Olivia Rodrigo cone takeover where they have turned their cones into purple color to celebrate the artist's new album. The service was very friendly! Will definitely be back!!!
google avatar

Delana M.

Yelp
If you're adventurous and an ice cream lover, this is the spot for you! They have a big menu full of fun and yummy flavors. The staff was very nice and offered for us to try as many flavors as we like without seeming bothered by it. I ordered a waffle bowl with the Boston cream pie ice cream and the salted peanut butter with chocolate for the first time I went and then came right back a week later and ordered the salted PB with the dark chocolate- both delicious! Something I really liked about Jeni's is that everything is compostable there: the spoon, bowl, napkins. The inside is very clean and open as well!
google avatar

Dzuy T.

Yelp
I went with a couple friends and we shared a ten-scoop (which you can use a student discount for by the way!) so I honestly don't remember all the flavors we got. The gooey-butter cake and the lemon were my favorite. The lemon was definitely lemon-y but that's why I liked it. The waffle cone bits were crunchy but not too crunchy where it was sharp and added a little butter flavor to each bite of ice cream. 100% recommend Jeni's for a post or even pre-dinner snack.
google avatar

McKena S.

Yelp
While I stand by my review mostly, I have to say that there is a better ice cream spot in town and Jeni's does not compare to Clementine's. I started frequenting Clementine's and realized Jeni's flavors are slightly less quality so I'm gonna have to lower my review to a 4 star!
google avatar

Yelp
Overcome the parking barriers, you'll be so thankful you did. Having lived in Ohio for a while, I was thrilled to hear that Jeni's was coming to St. Louis. It is organic ice cream, made the right way, using milk from happy Ohio cows. I will happily pay more for ice cream made to higher standards of quality. Walking into their shops is a kind of boutique ice cream meets the old school flavor adventures of years past at Baskin Robbins. You get a pick-your-own adventure at Jeni's. Whatever flavors knocks your socks off is what you should get. The Jeni's team is always kind and helpful, so don't be bashful to ask them about best sellers or their own favorites. Sample as many flavors as you want to be sure your sweet treat is the perfect one for you. I love their house made cones and usually try to order a mix of 2 flavors their house made cone bowl, or the regular cone if they've sold out of the popular bowl cone. Creamy, dreamy, ice cream whether your style is inspired by flavors of peanut butter chocolate, fresh fruit, or candy, you'll not be disappointed by the selections in the Jeni's case. September 2021

Yelp
Do you want vegan ice cream that makes you smile instead of slightly cringe before coming to terms with its lacking qualities? Then Jenis is your go-to! Amazingly ice cream. They have a fan following. The rich, creamy, almost french-like approach to their brand males this enjoyable. Rotating flavors and the happy experience of local business with the efficiency of a chain. They really give the best of both worlds. Bring the whole family for an evening out and your sure to leave with brownie points.
google avatar

Yelp
The server at this spot is very knowledge about the flavors and what choices to mix together. I appreciated his thoroughness. I got the bramble and pumpkin roll in a waffle cone. Mmm mmm good
google avatar

Dejah M.

Yelp
The heavenly smell this place gives when you walk in I love the waffle bowls and their flavors are so decadent. Just try and go before they sell out! The gooey butter cake is my favorite flavor.
google avatar

Tigra C.

Yelp
After seeing their current non-dairy lineup, I specifically saved room for dessert so that I could come back and try Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. During my visit the vegan options were a raspberry sorbet, a cold brew flavor, Caramel Pecan Sticky Buns, and Texas Sheet Cake. I wanted to try both the caramel pecan and Texas sheet cake flavors so I went for the 2 half scoops in a bowl for $5. The half scoops were more like full scoops to me, so it was plenty. Both flavors were creamy and decadently rich. The Caramel Pecan Sticky Buns had real pecans and sticky bun pieces. So divine! The Texas Sheet Cake was chocolate ice cream stuffed with fudge and chocolate cake. OMG! Neither of these two flavors were gluten-free and my tummy paid for that, but I have zero regrets. They do clearly list their gluten-free options on both the menu board and the notecards in the frozen cases; they are very descriptive so you'll know exactly what's in each flavor, allowing you to decide accordingly. You may get your treat in a bowl, regular cone, sugar cone, or waffle cone. The waffle cone is the only non-vegan option of the 3 cones. It can get really busy here on the weekends, but if you're willing to wait until 10pm, the line has usually fizzled out by then; or come earlier in the day and have dessert before your meal. Their flavors rotate. I first stopped by a few years ago and they only had a sorbet option for non-dairy. I would definitely return; I just hope that they continue to offer more vegan options.

Yelp
I didn't even like ice cream all that much until a couple years ago, it all started with Graeter's as a Cincinnati native there is just something about it that hits different... but we are here to talk about Jeni's. Jeni's is criminal for not having a rewards money because the amount of money we spend on my love for this ice cream is bad. We love walking around CWE and my husband is a true sweetheart and always offers me to get some. Maybe it's my lack of self control or my need for something sweet after dinner but Jeni's just hits the spot. From the fresh waffle cones to even the cup (THEY STILL GOVE YOU WAFFLE CRISPS!!!!) Jeni's is phenomenal. Love the dairy free options but love the nondairy free options even more. Love the wild berry lavender and all the unique flavors tbh. Side note: Jeni's is also Ohio born (: Anyways, love Jeni's but please get a rewards program!! Thank you!!!
google avatar

Margarita F.

Yelp
I absolutely love Jenni's! It's in a perfect spot, just a walk from local CWE restaurants. Perfect for a post-dinner dessert or a casual date. There are always exciting flavors to choose from (although who am I kidding, I always get some variant of caramel). Bonus point -- you can enjoy your scoop in a perfectly air-conditioned room in st louis heat.

Ashlyn J.

Yelp
The best ice cream!! I got a birthday cake flavor & it was gluten free too. Several gluten free options. Tried the tahini cookie & that was really good too. I accidentally left my wallet behind & they put it in the back for me for safekeeping. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Marie H.

Yelp
Even in December, I can't resist Jeni's ice cream. So many flavors! Last time I was there, I took a chance on a dairy free ice cream. I didn't have high expectations (I'm a dairy lover) but it was exceptional! It's also a cool space, if a little echo-y. I'd return to Jeni's even if it wasn't down the road from my favorite bookstore in a super cute part of town (but it is both of those things, so I'll definitely be back).

Yelp
Worth the wait! Long lines, no parking but entirely worth it! We dropped off 2 people from our party to stand in line and I was going to park. Could not find any parking within a mile so we just circled and picked them up. We enjoyed the ice cream in our car. The most flavorful Ice cream that I've ever had. So worth all the work to get it!
