⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4-Star Review for Jenkinson’s Boardwalk – Point Pleasant, NJ Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is a classic Jersey Shore gem! Great mix of family fun, ocean views, and nostalgic vibes. The beach is clean and well-maintained, and the boardwalk is bustling with energy—especially in the summer. The rides are a nice touch for younger kids, and the amusement rides offer something for all ages. Lots of snack options from fried Oreos to pizza and ice cream—definitely a cheat day paradise! Also love funnel cakes here Parking can be tricky on busy weekends, and prices (like many shore spots) can add up quickly. But overall, it’s a fun, lively place to spend the day with family or friends. Highly recommend for a full-day outing at the shore!

I wasn’t really sure how I should rate this place. On one hand it is beautiful. Well kept you can tell that it’s a beach town. It’s been around for a really long time. My rating is because I thought it was really expensive. First, you have to pay to get on the beach per person over 12 and then when we went walking on the boardwalk I thought the prices were really high and the quality of merchandise that they had wasn’t worth the price. The food prices were really high, again, not surprising, but it was just mediocre. The best part about it for me was the beach, it was really clean, didn’t have a whole bunch of broken shells all over the place, which allowed me to walk in the sand in my bare feet. Something I’ve generally don’t do because I am diabetic and cuts to my feet could cause me to get infections Which could cause me to get amputations, something I don’t wish to have. This is just my opinion. I’m sure some people would disagree.

Since 1928, Jenkinson's Boardwalk has operated as an amusement park and prominent tourist attraction among those in Ocean County and for families and area tourists alike. For the first time in over 16 years, I came to this such boardwalk on a recent trip out to the Jersey Shore as a means of spending my last full day of my recent trip in a manner of peace and action. I came to this such boardwalk during the afternoon on a Wednesday evening and found myself flattered at just how impressive the boardwalk area really was during my time. I was especially impressed with how much there was to do. From shops to food stalls, and even arcades, this boardwalk has something for everybody. I came also during one of the prominent events that are held on the pier during the summer months, and was easily enamored by the theme of Christmas in July they were offering during my time at the boardwalk. The entryway to the beach also offers a robust experience that allows you to experience the Sand and the Atlantic Ocean from a distance. Overall, coming here was a surprise and a great treat to end my trip to the Mid-Atlantic Region, I hope to come back in the future and experience more of what the boardwalk has to offer.

We love this boardwalk! The staff is friendly and it’s always a good time. The rides are fun for our 5 year old and the prices are good. They have a lovely sweet shop and aquarium. It’s also kept very clean. Cute beach bars and photo ops as well. A really nice experience

If you want an expensive day trip for just fair vibes sure. Everything food wise priced $$$ so we didn't eat here (think festival/event pricing). 20$ for parking (not cool we were there no more than 2.5 hrs). You also have to pay to go on the beach!?!?!?!! The fair games were at least okay so played 2 with the kids. The aquarium was nice albeit a bit on the higher side (shy of 80$ with 2 adults, a senior, & a kiddo under 12 & 2)but the kids had a nice time running around the small space (was about a 45 min for a walk through n pretty crowded) As a visitor from another state tbh I dont really see me stopping here again. Back home to free beaches & parking

This is an excellent beach with Boardwalk. Very well maintained. Easy to navigate with google maps. Hard to find free/paid parking also near the beach especially over weekends. There is hourly parking with less price changes for weekdays/weekends/holidays but reasonable price. $40 day parking is also available and may get some spots here. Street parking is available but mostly get filled unless we want to walk a mile. We visited this over weekend and there is ticket for adults only for $15. Children under 12 are free to enter. Boardwalk area is full of stores. Restrooms are available and no rush at all here. At the entrance itself, there are showers available to take batch while returning. All are free. There is lot of space to place our tents and chairs to take rest in the beach. Very well maintained the whole beach. Beach is opened to go in water only until 5.30 PM. In the sand area we can stay until 11 PM it seems. Excellent beach to visit with whole family and friends. Everyone will enjoy this place for sure. Can't go deep in water as there is little deep. Waves were so speed in the evening, so probably that could be the reason for not allowing into water after 5.30 PM.

Google
Absolutely love it! The water was clean a little rough though but still very nice. Parking is the only thing i would say needs to change. If you’re not there early be prepared to drive around for a while looking for parking. Other than that it was a great experience. The boardwalk was definitely kid friendly some arcade games where play until you win which was great for my 6 yr old bc he was able to win prizes. We even stopped at the fudge store and that was even delicious!

🎢 Jenkinson’s Boardwalk – Chill beach vibes and family fun. We spent an evening at Jenkinson’s on the boardwalk, and it was the perfect low-key family outing. The whole place leans more into the beach vibe—relaxed, coastal, and clean energy all around. We jumped on a few rides with the girls, and while it’s not the biggest amusement setup, it was just right for a casual, fun time out. Everything felt safe and easygoing, and the kids had a blast. It wasn’t overly packed, which made it even better. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for an easy beachside experience with a few rides to break up the day. It’s got its own lane and doesn’t try to do too much. ⸻ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Beachy, simple, and solid for family moments. We’d go again for the relaxed vibes and a light evening out.

Yelp
A go-to spot for an unforgettable day with friends or family. Having visited many times, I've experienced the boardwalk's thrilling energy firsthand. Each ride, each scream on the Himalaya, and each nostalgic funnel cake pulls you deeper into the lively, carefree atmosphere. The one drawback? No dogs allowed! It's a bit of a bummer not being able to bring my pup along... Imagine enjoying that ocean breeze with your furry friend! Nonetheless--this place, with its food/snack stands, games, rides, and ocean view, is PERFECT for anyone craving a classic boardwalk experience.

Yelp
Found this cute ice cream shop on Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. It was the perfect way to end a hot summer day at the beach! I absolutely loved my mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Yelp
It's a fun little spot to take the boys or go out with my husband on a date . It's close to home so I like that . The aquarium could be a little cleaner , along with the fun house but it's the boardwalk so what do you expect ? Also the drinks are pricey but location is great . I would recommend for a date night or to take your kids out for the day .
google avatar

Jesse F.

Yelp
It's a fun date idea, but I recommend bringing your own food and having lunch on the beach. Not many very healthy food options. Good for desert after the healthy lunch on the beach, though.
google avatar

Ingrid G.

Yelp
gorgeous view , it's a long boardwalk full of arcades, restaurants and an amusement park. There's events that happen during the summer which is a great way to spend time with friends or family. There's a lot of ramps which is great if you have a stroller

Yelp
The local Chamber of Commerce may see things differently but Point Unpleasant is nothing but a Jersey Shore honky tonk masquerading as your fondest childhood memory. Mediocre food, overcrowding and rides right out of a 1970's traveling carnival. Oh yeah, Jenkinson's Boardwalk. Take a stroll down arcade alley and find that ink soaked carny your daughter has been crushing on. And please don't forget to stuff an 18 inch basketball through an 11 inch rim while shooting your water pistol directly into the clowns mouth for that coveted polyester one-eyed teddy bear made in god knows where. In reality the Boardwalk is fun for about 30 minutes. After that, just go to the beach. After a day of sun, salt water and swimming that stale funnel cake will certainly hit the spot. Barely two stars - full body tattoos completely optional.

Yelp
Jenkinson's Boardwalk has attractions open year round! We went the Wednesday July 27, 2022. You can Explore the aquarium, play some games in the arcades, have some food at many of there food stands, go to amusement park, shop at many of their gift shops, even play mini golf and enjoy the treats at the Sweet Shop. We went and it was Christmas in July, so some areas had decorations for Christmas. Prices for the beach is as follows- ages 12 and up $9 Ages 5-11 $3 Under 5 Free Great day to spend with the family, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Side trip after setting up our two kids into Rutgers University New Brunswick campus. We used to visit when the kids were small, rides, arcade games, boardwalk food. It was great fun then and now we are delighted to see young families and little kids doing what our kids did 15 years ago. We had funnel cake, Dole whip and other boardwalk foods. Daughter (now 20) played a claw machine and won two small stuffed animals - one to share with her brother now 18). She and wife played see ball for awhile and then gave their game card to a mother with young children, which made everyone happy. We sat and watched the young families, laughed about the rides the kids used to love at Jenkinson's and looked at the games of chance. Unfortunately the beach was closed due to rip tides from hurricane Idalia.

Yelp
September 10, 2022 @ 2:23 pm I finally made it to Point Pleasant Beach. My first stop was the Jenkinson's Aquarium which their motto is educating people on marine life and conservation which is what I love. The have a touch and learn about natural wonders which the children love. You get to feel how smooth the wing's of a stingray is. Or the bumps on the back of a sea star. Jenkinson's Aquarium is small compared to other aquariums, but you get to see animals from the rainforest. From there I walked the boardwalk looking to see where and what I was going to eat. I chose The Grill which is inside a pavilion. I ordered the fish & chips with a large coke. The fish and chips came in a bucket, nice. The fresh cod is battered and fried with a nice crunch, firm and meaty, then I dipped it into the buffalo hot sauce. The French fries were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The fish and chips were both tasty and good, yet I couldn't finish the fries, but I did try. They have an outside bar where you can either eat or drink and listen to the live band. If you are just going to the bar, the wristband is free. They have an inside bar as well. Jenkinson's has funhouses, miniature golf, amusement park, arcades, gift shops and much more. Walked a bit and saw Kohr's homemade Italian ice stand. Eyes bigger than my stomach, I ordered the large, yes you see the picture, blue raspberry and cherry. I tried to get to the finish line, but alas I gave it a try and finish a large portion. It was so g o o d! Perfect for a summer day. This day trip I enjoyed. The summer breeze, the birds, the wind, people laughing, children running around or getting on rides. Come and stroll the boardwalk and stay awhile. You don't have to drive, you can take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast train (njtransit.com). I'm heading back this week. I'll look for you. #pointpleasantbeach #pointpleasant #nj #newjersey #food #eat #foodie #aquarium #seafood #hambergers #italianice #seafoodrestaurant #seafoodlover #fun #beach #jerseyshore #seafoodie #seafoodtime #seafoodporn #yummie #good #summer #ocean #sun #travel #relax #summervibes #instagood #happy #follow #explore #travelgram

Yelp
Boardwalk & beach are both VERY underwhelming. If this is the only boardwalk + beach combo you can manage, then it's sufficient i suppose. You'd be MUCH better off driving the extra 40 minutes to Ocean City, even Atlantic City or even Seaside is better (and that's saying a lot). This beach is short & crowded, costs $14 for adults, and drops off 10ft or so to the water surface. The boardwalk is short (maybe a 1000'), narrow (15' across), and lame-- gimmicky attractions, arcades & food. Skee ball is $1.50 per game?? Parking is also nonexistent. On the other hand, Ocean city boardwalk is several MILES long, 50 feet across, has 2 whole amusement parks, and packed with great games, shops, novelty stores, great food and unmatched arcades (Jilly's). Beaches there are $10, clean, wide, and very long. Ocean City is better in every way, and better for every age group including families & those who are older (I'm 24, my parents are 50, and we have never had a bad experience there the past 15 years we've gone). I don't even know how Point Pleasant managed to make ANY 'Top 10 Boardwalks in NJ' list online. It stinks! Never going back

Yelp
Our Independence weekend!! We decided to celebrate and enjoy this weekend at point pleasant beach. I haven't been here since my eldest girls were little that's a little over 10ish years. The beach is 13.00 pp and they have chair/umbrella rentals. Coolers 13x13 aren't allow and only dome shape tents. And then the usual no dogs, no alcohol, etc The beach was nice and decently clean. Staff was very nice. The ocean was maybe 50°f it was cold for me. I totally recommend to arrive early to the beach because of parking. There are some parking lots that charge $30 all day but it's far from the boardwalk. We parked in the municipal parking, even though we walked a bit but for us it was convenient. Also if you forget your umbrella or want another chair they have rentals but limited # so get yours early. The umbrella rental was $12 or $13 dollars and a staff member placed it for us. I tipped him for helping . The sun came out around 1130ish/12 and it was beautiful. The boardwalk is looking good! I didn't walk all of it but it was clean, busy and it seemed like it had more going on. The amusement rides and arcade have an e card. It's refillable and you use that to get on rides and play in the arcades. The typical "tickets" needed for a ride are 12 pp. The nice thing in the arcades now they have a 5.00 claw and it's until you win. Of course when I was a child that didn't exist ....it was more like oh well you did not win The 1 thing I wanted to do and almost everyone had was to get a funnel cake but when I'm in a mom role I get so preoccupied with everything else I didn't treat myself to a delicious treat. That definitely means there's another visit in my near future So I totally recommend you come and enjoy point pleasant beach along with the Jenkinsons boardwalk. Please be kind to the staff some rules they have are out of their control and they must follow the towns orders. So go get some sun and salt And Enjoy!!!

Yelp
Will go again - Always a good time on the Jersey shore boardwalk. My visit this time was in the winter so majority of stores were closed. It was a pure relaxation trip / staycation. The Jenkinson's boardwalk parking lot is free for the winter time. I know...who goes to a beach in winter .

Yelp
Jenkinson's is one of the more family friendly boardwalks in NJ. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy here. You can enjoy the beach, for a fee of course. Or you can enjoy the aquarium, mini-golf, fun house, amusement rides and games on the boardwalk. Three stars because parking is expensive, especially on weekends. The town has made pretty much all walking distance street spots metered or permit only. Also, the food on the boardwalk is not the best. This is a very expensive day if you have a family. Take advantage of the 50% off Easter ticket sale to save some money on rides.

Yelp
While visiting friends we came to the boardwalk back to back days, u have have plenty of food options although they are are pretty much the same & some shopping available. Boardwalk games if u are into that & lots of people watching. Beach entrance was $11 I believe this is the price on the weekend which is not terrible, nice beach area clean the water was pretty rough when we visited but aside from that, nice & refreshing. A few showers to use on the beach they also have a bathhouse when you are exiting the beach area. Decent area to spend an afternoon in.

Yelp
Love this boardwalk! Been going here for many years! Even on the off-season, I still come down to Point Pleasant.

Melia F.

Yelp
The activities are fun but there was a problem with the one store near the mirror maze and mini golf. I asked for a chocolate ice cream but they never made it. I asked for my 20 dollar bill back to which they took forever to get. And I asked for it back but they claimed that they already had which wasn't true. I'm never ordering anything from there again.

Yelp
This boardwalk is better than most on the Jersey Shore and #1 for kids. When our children were young we would take them here to go on the rides. It is very well Maintained, clean and parking was only $5 when we came here last Friday. We chose parking on the street which was slightly less as we were only going to be there a short time. I had to walk onto the beach and put my feet in the water. The beach is very clean and lots of sand they either rebuilt after Hurricane Sandy or have no problems with beach erosion. They planted palm trees for the Summer season. It really looks nice here. We walked the boardwalk and passed an Aquarium mental note for a future visit. There was plenty of games to play and you can win ginormous stuffed animals. The food choices were plenty as well. If you come here for the beach they have lockers for rent as well This place has something for everyone will continue to come back when I am in the area.
google avatar

Vince S.

Yelp
I'm rounding up to 4 due to nostalgia and cause yeah, it's still the NJ shore and of that I am a fan. But as a fellow Yelper has already noted, this place is pretty expensive. As with the OC boardwalk, this one is really about kids and family. Unlike the OC one, here you can at least get booze. The games are mostly for large stuffed animals, so again more geared to the kiddies. I haven't tried any of the food but it all smelled good. And even with multiple ice cream or custard options, you would be wiser to just go down the road to Hoffman's. As we strolled down the boards after a great dinner, we noted that even at 6:30 there were attendants guarding the beach entrances. We were told that the beaches are closed, but that they leave their stations at 7 pm. There were people on the beach but they may have hopped the fence or entered near the inlet area? This was a little off putting, supposedly someone drowned a season or 2 ago and this new rule was implemented.
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
Clean, safe, well policed (in a good way) social distancing enforced, masks required only (inside) of businesses, well worth an evening of fun!
google avatar

Yesenia R.

Yelp
Jenkinson boardwalk in my opinion is a great place to bring the family during the summer. This boardwalk compared to the one in Seaside Heights is more family oriented and you will not find a bunch of drunks walking around. They offer plenty to do like mini golf, amusement park, aquarium, crazy house, arcade, restaurants, ice cream shops, and sweet shops. They have a huge parking lock in front for a few dollars an hour. This is my favorite boardwalk to bring my family because it is clean and family oriented.
google avatar

Imani L.

Yelp
I honestly was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. I went on a week day so the crowds weren't nearly as bad as they can get on the weekend. The beach was really nice and the boardwalk had a ton of options, including a Tiki Bar (over 21 but could have families present Tuesday - Thursday), a water park, and a mini carnival area with several rides. There also were options to purchase umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. Prices were honestly what you would expect for a boardwalk these days. The food was pretty average and the funnel cake was yummy but you can count on that at any boardwalk. Overall a positive experience and I wouldn't mind going back. I will say for travelers coming in, I didn't stay over but there were a lot of properties near b parking wasn't a hassle either. If you're the type that wants free parking, you will be driving for a while. The pay to park option was reasonable-- about $11 for 6 hours which was more than enough time.

Tracie G.

Yelp
I went to Jenks last Thursday for a beach day, as a way to stay cool from the heat, socially distance on the beach and check out the Jersey shore for the first time. I am not really a beach goer as I stay away from sun (due to skin cancer) and the dislike of sand. But I make exceptions to go to beach a few times on the really hot days. For a not so frequent beach goer I was pleased with Jenks. The beach is clean, short walk from the boardwalk, and I found parking to be easy. I parked by the munimeter and paid $2.25 for 6 hours. But the cost will add up if one partakes on all of the boardwalk luxuries, lockers, arcades, food, lockers with shower, rented umbrellas , rented chairs, etc. The extra costs aren't really a bad thing however when parking is so inexpensive ,it kinda entices one to spend more elsewhere. Anyway I am pleased with Jenks. Go check out when you can

Yelp
Great patio for people watching and relaxing. Our server Michelle was great. Very helpful to our group. Thanks Michelle. Food was average boardwalk fare. Drinks were good!!

Yelp
The band the bar and the view! This place is a typical jersey shore nightmare and don't blame in on the Benny's or on the people off the train or the out of towners! This is hats off to all the shore people for making this perfect jersey shore fun! It's a hot mess of all kinds We saw a band we liked at 2pm Saturday it was great I ordered a lobster roll cause I have to try them anywhere I go It was like 3 times the meat you get anywhere else for 12.00 insane, it was good, not the best It was great for the price and fresh The kids liked all their bar food The drinks were good and cold Great place to check out at least one time I have a beach house here since 2012 and this is the 1st time I went Would go back for a day drink, I cant imagine the night time crew

Yelp
Omg this boardwalk beach etc is one of my favorite hangouts as a kid and an adult great games, rides etc also has bars up and down the boardwalk. One of the best places up in Jersey. We have family here so when we can we go there and spend family time together. There's no place like the jersey shore.

Bri R.

Yelp
Has some great food options but definitely avoid on the weekends. It gets extremely crowded
google avatar

Cindy F.

Yelp
This is the boardwalk in point pleasant most people stop at. It is family friendly during the day, but at night there are a few clubs and bars. Wednesday is Grandparents Day for the rides, so grandparents ride the kiddie rides for free. This is definitely a place I enjoy coming to with my kids during the day. Great place to spend quality family time. Hopefully I will be able to visit again during the summer. Parking can be difficult so definitely plan to arrive early on the weekend.
google avatar

Justine R.

Yelp
A fun place to take a walk, people watch and stop for a quick bite to eat at any of their food options. Spent a day here over Labor Day Weekend. It wasn't crowded at all, though probably largely due to COVID concerns. As an FYI people weren't really keeping their masks on, and some were obnoxious about keeping their distances, but that's no fault of the place. The boardwalk was clear, the bathrooms were clean, and it was an enjoyable stroll on a beautiful day.
google avatar

Joanne G.

Yelp
I love this place. I have been coming here since I was young and now I'm able to take my son here. Yes it's crowded on the weekends. Yes it's crazy. But that's why you come. We were able to try out the mini golf part and it was fun. We have eaten and drink at Martells and able to enjoy the beach section. Cops are around and all times and parking on the weekends are about $30 average and $10-15 on the summer weekdays. We do enjoy this place but we avoid the weekend at all cost. If we do the weekends we come in the evenings to enjoy the breeze and the activities.

Yelp
The beach is nice, as is the boardwalk. My review would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the parking situation near the aquarium. I had a situation where a parking attendant directed me where to park my car and, after a day on the beach, came back to find it moved and with a boot on the wheel. They jacked my car up and moved it because the space wasn't legit and the attendant didn't put a ticket on my windshield. Mind you, The attendant TOLD me where to park and directed me into the space early that morning, saying he was getting the ticket book to put on the car. Needless to say, I complained, and an ornery man with a walkie talkie and a chip on his shoulder came to deal with me, refusing to remove the boot unless I paid a fine, quizzing me on the name of the staff member who worked with me that morning, as if I was lying. I provided all of the information and the boot was removed, only to show they scratched my side skirt when putting it on. The ornery man on the power trip and I had words at this point and he told me to call a lawyer. I reminded him that I don't need one, as their CAMERAS would show me dealing with the attendant and him DIRECTING me into the space. At this, he removed the boot. Top class. Absolutely ridiculous. These parking lot fellas are clearly running a hustle to get innocent folks who are afraid to argue to pay to get a boot removed. Mind your car, get the attendants name, check for damage. Won't be returning ever again. I suggest Jenkinson's get a grip on their parking team. The place is for families who are paying hard-earned money to spend a day there. Don't take advantage of them.

Yelp
I went to the canines and cocktails today that was being held at jenkinsons at the point pleasant boardwalk and was disappointed. The beach was fenced off for a dog play area behind the bar. The patio was open and dogs are allowed there to sit with their owners. I figured I would sit with my dog and have lunch before letting him in the play area. I wasn't sure how to order anything because I didn't see anyone around. I walked into the bar area by the door. Now I do realize dogs weren't allowed in there and there were signs stating so. But I just wanted to quickly ask the bartender how to order. I wasn't even all the way in. I was by the door. He explained that there was no waitress service and that the only way to order was to go to the counter. Now I realize this wasn't possible. (Side note- a man had walked inside with his dog about 10 minutes before me and was still in there by the bar when I walked in) As I was finishing my conversation with the bartender some guy who worked there walks up to me and tells me that dogs aren't allowed ( I knew that) and I had to leave. I explained to him what I was trying to ask and he just kept telling me to leave and that if I wanted food I would have to leave my dog outside. I never leave him alone anywhere. He wouldn't stay he'd try to follow me and I would worry someone would take him. I also never leave him alone in a dog park because if there was ever a problem he could get hurt. So I left. What could have been a fun day wasn't. Why can't they put someone outside to take orders fully knowing that people will coming there and would like to sit and have lunch and a drink (they advertise it as cocktails) while their dog plays. So jenkinsons you messed this up. You lost my money. I know $20-30 is not a big loss but it's the principle. So I will never go back. Luckily I live close (ortley Beach) but if someone drove a distance I would feel sorry for them. Oh and the guy with the dog that was in the bar before I walked in- NOTHING was said to him about his dog. NOTHING. So give me a hard time but leave him alone. Obviously it's easier for that guy who worked there to pick on me than say something to the big guy with his dog. Rant over......

Yelp
Review is for the off peak season. Wasn't busy. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating. Decent prices. Large selection of sugary snacks (ice cream, taffy, fudge, chocolate anything, gummies..etc). You can also order items online (gift baskets). A dentist's paradise. Enjoy!

Yelp
A Jersey shore tradition which is great for revisiting old memories and making new ones. Great for both the young and old.

Yelp
Very expensive.Too many beach rules. Coolers had to be about 13 x 13 inches. Enough room for 6 bottles of water. Municipal parking lot is a rip off. 2.50 an hour and dont put in 3 dollars. no change! I parked and my 1 back wheel was 6 inches over the yellow line. Even after talking to the cop in the lot it still cost me a 50 dollar ticket. The whole place is a money grab. Also dont try to go in the aqarium with a just purchased 4 dollar bottle of water . Not allowed.

Yelp
I ended up here instead of point pleasant beach and when I asked the employee where point pleasant was, she said she didn't know. It was only a few minutes walk down the boardwalk. So that's one employee who lied. The definitely search your coolers, especially if you look like you don't belong in the area. The beach was nice and clean. You have to pay, it's not free. The lifeguards who ride the 4x4 are reckless and don't care about little kids running around. The bathroom are gross, no paper towels, hand dryer or soap, especially in this CO-VID era is wrong. As I was walking along the boardwalk I decided to buy some snacks, and the women who said she was the manager refused to give me my receipt. As I was talking to her she turned around and walked away.. She refused to answer my question and give me my receipt for the item I purchased. Very rude and unprofessional. Prices for food and games are high, but that's expected. I'll go to wildwood next time, this is not a good family friendly place.

Yelp
I have to say, this is a very family friendly and clean boardwalk. The ride area is geared more towards the younger kids, with only 3 or 4 rides for teens. In the summer, they have different theme days with activities set up along the boards. Everything is overpriced, but what do you expect for a tourist area.

Yelp
Good family experience. You can bring your younger kids here to shelter them from the trash-fest that is Seaside Heights. Don't get me wrong, this place is but no means free of jerks and obnoxious morons, it's just on a lesser scale than their competition 20 miles south. Fun kiddie rides, decent food to be found, and the standard boardwalk games make for a fun, albeit expensive, night out for the family. Check the schedule for fireworks nights.

Yelp
I have to say I had the most fun at the fishing game with my four nieces and daughter! The guy running game made it so enjoyable we didn't want to leave! This kid has a career in comedy in the future! Thanks fish weigh guy you made our trip so much more enjoyable!

Yelp
July 4th fireworks were lackluster. People were leaving before the finale and making comments about how they were disappointed. The turnout for the event was huge, after this-probably not as big next year.

Yelp
Great food and views. I saw that the lobster roll was new to the menu so of course I had to try it. It was delicious. There was so much lobster meat and it was dipped in a little butter. It was perfect and hit the spot. I actually had it two days in a row, lol. The live music was a plus. I'm a sucker for live music so I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I will definitely be back, for the beach and the lobster roll.

Yelp
I was also standing with my friend who was racially profiled by the older security officer at the bottom of the stairs securing the beach entrance. Gun on holster. Asked for our IDS. After already having our IDs checked and approved and served by the bartender. The security guard insisted on seeing my friends 2ND ID because her New York State license was not sufficient enough and ordered her to leave because she did not have a second ID. Was she one of the only black people in the restaurant? YES. Did the officer ask for anyone elses 2ND ID? NO! Did people around the incident shake there head in disbelief? YES. Did i make eye contact while staying extremely calm with other security guards that could not believe what was going on? YES. Was I afraid that if we continued to argue with this security guard that I may be choke slammed and arrested? YES RASCIST ESTABLISHMENT. RASCIST SECURITY. RASCIST MANAGEMENT. Will not be returning. Will tell everyone i know about this god awful incident.

Yelp
Very nice boardwalk. I bought the emuse card during the Easter sale of buy 1 get 1 free, so it was a great deal. We visited on a Wednesday morning/early afternoon. Everything was great. Don't park on the street...use the parking lot. It costs nearly the same.

Yelp
This is a nice little family boardwalk. I usually go to Seaside Heights. This is more of a family place. It has a small kiddie ride section. Several Restaurants, ice cream , arcade, mini golf and Martell's Tiki bar with an Ocean view. The boardwalk is roughly 1/2 mile long. Not enough shops. I am a big shopper and I believe there was only 2 clothing/gift shops. They both sold the same things:(. The aquarium is a must see. We always enjoy going there. Admission was $12-adult and $7-12 and under, but well worth it. My 11 yr. old just loved coming to Jenkinson's . I like Seaside boardwalk better.

Yelp
As a taffy aficionado, I'm always on the search to satisfy my taffy cravings. I stopped in here on Saturday to fill up on taffy. There was a nice variety of taffy flavors, however I was disappointed to see no sour flavors like their Atlantic City rivals Fralinger's offer. The taffy flavors taste a bit artificial and leave a funny after-taste, especially the grape flavor. Here's to counting down the days until Trader Joe's seasonal taffy is back in stock. The chocolate-dipped items were yummy and worth a try. I would definitely return, but probably wouldn't stock up on three pounds of taffy; one pound is sufficient.

Yelp
We stayed in Point Pleasant while passing through to LBI and visited here with the kids. Comparing this boardwalk to Seaside Heights there is no comparison. This boardwalk seemed cleaner and loaded with not only a nicer amusement park with rides for littler kids, but more games and food and arcades plus food courts with plenty of seating directly on the ocean. One major plus here is that you can use your amusement park card points for games up and down the boardwalk and they give you a coupon book for all sorts of savings on the boardwalk when you purchase a card. Great place to visit on the Jersey Shore!

Yelp
Ok love point pleasant But to eat there is ridiculous ! The waitress was slow she took forever to take our order and it wasn't not busy . Then my friend order fish tacos the waitress ask her do u want guac on the side or on the tacos she replied on the side . Do you want fries or chips comes as a side ? She said fries . When the food came out she got both . Ok fine . Check comes charge for guacamole ! And charged for fries ! Idk what they running but it sounds like scams when u ask somebody something making it sound like your food comes with things that are extra money !

Yelp
Used to be a lot better ... now they are just eh. It's pretty good for family, years ago was definitely family friendly. Not so much jenkisons fault but the teens who go there really wreck the beach up and cause havoc

Yelp
Never again, the prices are outrageous. $30 private parking lots, all full. Can't go on beach after 5pm unless you purchased a $10 per person beach badge earlier in the day. They will not let anyone in the water if the waves are bigger then 2-3 feet!!! No street parking, all spots require a permit. Small municipal lot is always full and is also a rip off. Jenkinsons runs the town like a criminal organization. What a shame!!!
