Comfortable cabins set on a sloping block with a magnificent view towards Kanangra Walls. Wallabies will more than likely greet you as you approach. The fire was burning well by the time we arrived. There is no oven but there is access to a grill and stove top, and a microwave. You also have access to a full sized fridge. I was cold and needed some extra layers of warmth at night but hubby was ok. Enjoying breakfast while watching the sunrise through the large windows in the living room was special. Being able to observe the Wallabies feed (with their pouched Joeys) from the same window was also a treat. A great base to explore the local area from. The entry to Kanangra-Boyd National Park is a hop, skip and jump away where, after a bit of a drive in, you can enjoy more spectacular views and some challenging day hikes, if that's your cup of tea. Hubby and I will be back, and may even bring our adult kids next time.

We loved our stay,|the peacefulness, the panoramic views, the birds, the wallabies, the great fire, the accomodation which had everything needed for our stay and so cosy!|Oberon is a great town to visit and explore with friendly people, and the ladies at the Visitor Centre were so helpful! A must on your visit! |Good food at the Hotels and RSL also at the refurbished Hotel on the way in from Hartley with a great view down the valley, not sure of name! |Of course the spectacular caves are a must, but sadly closed due to land slides on our visit! But will return as it has been a while since our last caves visit!|Nothing was too much trouble for the owner who was lovely, helpful, and welcoming.|Just a wonderful escape.

Nice cabins in a lovely spot. The location is fantastic with beautiful views of the Blue Mountains and is close to Janolan Caves. The cabins were clean and well kept. The fire was going before we arrived and wood was provided. The beds were comfy and the cabin was generally well provisioned.

We spent two nights here recently as a mini getaway. The views from the cabin were absolutely stunning, including at night watching the stars and moon. The cabin was very comfortable and super cosy with the wood fire going. We took our own food and the little kitchen had everything you need including a good sized fridge. It was a short drive down to the caves and lots of wildlife to watch. We would definitely stay there again but we would take a pair of gardening gloves to stop getting splinters putting the wood on the fire.

This is the third time we have stayed at Jenolan Cabins and have always had a lovely relaxing stay. The hosts are very friendly.|Although the cabins are clean and comfortable they are starting to look a bit tired. |It is easy to unwind in front of the fireplace taking in the lovely view with the occasional wildlife passing by.|As the cabins are self contained it is a good idea to bring in whatever supplies you will need for your stay in case weather closes in. Oberon is only a 15 min drive away.|Our bonus this stay was a huge dump of snow - it was amazingly peaceful and magical.|

We were a group of 3 families who stayed at Jenolan cabins, we had booked three cabins in Oct. The location is pretty good on the slope of a hill, closer to nature. The mobile reception is not good which gives a much needed respite from the hustle bustle of urban ways of living. The cabin have two rooms and can sleep 6, with a queen bed in one room and a couple of bunk beds in the other. The weather was pleasant when we visited but a fire will need to be lit up if you are visiting in the colder months. Kitchen has basic amenities to support basic cooking needs. There is a central shetler site with a BBQ where we we spent our evenings around a bon fire ( we had brought our own fire pit). It was very peaceful and we really enjoyed out stay. Will definitley give it go again when we want to escape the city for a good/ peaceful break. Mayfield gardens and Jenolan caves are in close vicinity which can be visited.
