Jerichos

We had such a lovely stay at Jerichos. It was a perfect location for us travelling to different areas but also exploring Windermere. It was a short walk for food and the lake. The recommendations left in the information booklet was brilliant. We visited Tapios Tapas and it was amazing! ||Our room was one of the top rooms and it was very spacious, cleans and decorated really nice. Parking being included and next to the property was a big bonus too. The amenities within the room were great too. The only issue we found was that later at night the room got quite hot with being at the top of the property but the fans provided were brilliant to cool the room. You can turn the radiators down, which we thought we did, and it was nice to have the option. Whilst in our room we heard minimal noise from anyone else in their rooms or outside the property. Breakfast was my Husbands favourite part of our stay, he can not stop talking about how lovely the sausages are, but everything we had was really tasty. The menu had a wide selection of choice and arrived very quickly. There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the property and even though we didn’t use it, the lounge area was a really nice additional space. Both Hayley and Steve were friendly and welcoming and make the atmosphere lovely. |100% would recommend staying here and we would stay again.

Our room was lovely. The décor was gorgeous, it smelled great and was spotlessly clean. The fridge in the room with water and milk provided was a nice touch. Hayley and Steve are lovely hosts. Breakfast had lots of choice and was served with no long wait even though food was cooked to order. Check-in was simple, with good communication, parking on site which makes it hassle free. Would come back and stay as great value for money.

Easy to get to from train station - just walk. Easy access into the little village! Lovely husband & wife team ❤️ They were very accommodating to me. The bed was super comfy. I appreciated the sheets & towels that were fresh & warm! And electric kettle was in the room too. The breakfast was fantastic - the menu has lits of options! Steve cooks a wonderful scrambled eggs on toast! Hayley was right there to greet you as one came into the breakfast room & that was a lovely touch!

Stayed here with a group of 6 of us for a friends birthday. Rooms were very clean and well styled. The hosts Steve and Hayley were very welcoming and were very accommodating putting birthday items in the birthday room secretly for us upon arrival. Breakfast the next day was excellent and was multi course. Would definitely stay here again. Ideal location close to amenities and bus service.

Amazing place to stay. Rooms were spacious very clean, it felt luxurious but homely at the same time. The bed and pillows were super comfy I had an amazing night sleep. The fan in the rooms were amazing wish I would of grabbed the brand! The breakfast was superb you really got a lot. I had the beans on toast and it was fabulous! It came with mushrooms, tomatoes and eggs of your choice. My boyfriend had the Jericho’s platter and the sausage was AMAZING! The hosts were super welcoming, friendly and were amazing throughout our stay. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough would 100% stay here again next time we are in the lakes!

We had a great stay at Jerichos. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. Communication before the stay was fantastic. Our room was clean and comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had a great weekend at Jericho’s guest house it was recommended to us and we would certainly recommend it, it’s a beautiful house spotlessly clean in a great location . Shops bars and restaurants close by.Hayley and Steve were so welcoming friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great, good choices and very well presented. Hopefully visit again soon thank you Hayley and Steve

Absolutely gorgeous loved the the decor.... hayley and Steve were both beautiful souls... our room was outstanding... was lovely to stay where the food was fresh and not serve yourself.... we stay from 13/10/25 - 16/10/25 Will certainly be back.... and the price was great also....our room was cleaned every day... Absolutely spotless.... been a long time since we have stay anywhere that rates so high.... was sorry to leave... thank you so much...Gordon and Tracy headley room 10 xx

Cute guesthouse located not too far from Windermere station. Although it's a walking distance from the station, I recommend taking a cab if you have a big suitcase because the roads are hilly. The room is simple but is tastefully decorated. I paid £100 for a queen size bed room which is a-ok for the UK standard but it felt slight expensive coming from the States. The breakfast was rather simple but hearty and traditional. There is a bus stop for 599 just a few minutes away which takes you to Bowness Pier, Grasmere, etc. I recommend going down to the Bowness Pier and take a ferry from there to Ambleside. My overall experience was 3.5.
