Jerk 48 Beverly

The food was different sauce was loose not thick with no flavor and chicken was honestly lightly seasoned and the jerk sauce was watery. Honestly for 30$ I would have expected a better pasta I had before but the lack of customers and inflation in prices and food that don't taste the same!!

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I spent $35 on this Jerk Salmon Dinner. The rice and beans were runny and beans were overcooked tasted more like it was reheated the sweet potatoes tasted canned not good at all and the cabbage was trash Salmon was ok better than everything else. But definitely not worth $35 please stop w these prices for this less than mediocre reheated canned food!

I spent $21 on 3 sides that were awful. The macaroni and cheese taste like pure salt, and the cabbage and red beans and rice were nasty. I hate when restaurants start off phenomenal and then they stop putting effort into their presentation and food. Also it was 81 degrees outside but it was 99° in the restaurant and I had to wait at least 15 minutes for the three sides that I ordered. I'm giving three stars for the service because myself and another costumer waited approximately 10 minutes for someone to come to the front to take our order and eventually the other customer found a bell behind the counter and push the bell and someone finally came. And this was after we were screaming trying to get someone's attention to come and take our order but they were in the back talking and could not hear us. But overall the cashier what's pleasant.

I really did enjoy the rice and beans my chicken was on top of. But that mac and cheese had a funny taste. And the yams were not yamming for me was not enough butter and seasoning for those yams. But overall nice experience.

Ordered jerk fries how they come and they gave me way too much cheese soggy fries doesn’t even look appetizing bad. Waste of time and money also the chicken was cold. Should of got my money back

So I use to go to Jerk 48 heavily back in its peak 2021/2022. I always would go to the 67 location but this my first time going to the Beverly location. First off the staff was very nice and very very friendly. Exceptional customer service. The restaurant made some extreme changes. The food didn’t taste how it use to taste. It could be because I went to another location than the original location I use to go to or because they just change their recipe but I didn’t like my food. The red beans and rice didn’t have any favor like it use too. The Mac n cheese was different. It wasn’t bad just wasn’t how it originally use to be. The jerk chicken wasn’t seasoned how it use to be and the jerk sauce wasn’t spicy. It’s always been pricey but the prices went up. Could be because of the economy. The prices online are cheaper because they are updating their system and those were the old prices. My daughter however loved it except for the red beans and rice she also said it was bland. I forgot to mention the yams taste good and was the same as I remember it. They need to go back to their old recipes or bring the cook from 67 to Beverly. Definitely come here and try it for yourself.

We traveled from Kansas City today try jerk 45. First night our DoorDasher stole a 100$ worth of food. The next day we were able to place a pick Up order. They sent a notification saying our order was ready for pick up. We go to pick up, our food still wasn’t ready. We waited another 20 minutes. Our food was good but very Burnt.

Food was warm not hot, chicken was dry cabbage was fill with juice and it spilled all over the hold tray. They only gave a half of tablespoon of rice and beans . No damn flavor. I want my money back. Will return tomorrow to let them know. NEVER AGAIN 27.00 down the drain!!!!!!
