I had such a beautiful experience at Jerk House today 1/10/26 and it truly deserves to be shared. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by two absolutely fabulous Empresses who treated me like royalty. Sancia and Janick completely stole my heart. Their warmth, patience, and genuine care while helping me with my order made the entire experience feel personal and uplifting. Janick prepared my one chicken soup and two sides with such tenderness and attention and Sancia prepared my additional chicken soup after allowing me to sample from my first order, I had to order another, “Massive Shout outs to the chef who’s back there putting in work” you could literally feel the love in the service. She is one of the loveliest souls I’ve encountered, and honestly, I wished I could take them both everywhere with me. If you’re looking for not just amazing food, but an unforgettable dining experience filled with good energy and real hospitality, please make sure you stop by Jerk House and see these two rock starz. I had an amazing experience at Jerk House in Hell's Kitchen. I ordered a side of baked chicken along with the oxtail meal, and everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The portion sizes were more than adequate where I had enough for leftovers, which is always a win in my book! From the tender oxtails to the seasoned veggies, sweet plantains, and classic rice and peas, the entire meal was on point. Every bite tasted good, not just one standout item. I also want to mention the customer service because I don't buy into the idea that food has to come with bad service to be good. I've had terrible service and terrible food before, so I truly appreciated the experience here. The staff was welcoming from the moment I walked in, and the woman who helped me patiently answered all of my questions with kindness and professionalism. If they continue serving generous portions, great-tasting food, and this same level of customer service, I will absolutely be back, and I'll definitely be recommending this location to my coworkers as well.

Food tastes amazing. Portions are big. And the staff, especially the cashier was very helpful, nice, and uplifting. It was very nice of the staff to suggest to my spouse to downsize her order and they were correct! This actually made us change our plans and decided to eat only in this place instead of trying another place beside this one.

Spotted! 👀 Authentic Carribean food in Manhattan?! I’m sold! Oxtail was fall-off-the-bone good and their Mac n Cheese was thick and made with love. Best Jamaican food in the city! Customer service is outstanding; they greet every customer as they walk in and ask how they’re doing. The past 2 times have been Alyssa taking my order and she’s amazing! They take your order as soon as they can and I’ve never gotten my food in more than 5 minutes, fresh and hot. Now the food itself… IMMACULATE… TANTALIZING… UNBELIEVABLE. I’ve been here about 4 times, and counting, and the foods never disappointed. The jerk chicken meal comes out to just above $20 but the portions fit the price tag so it’s understandable. Everyone must come here! I’ll be back, for sure!

Omg simply delicious! I have the pleasure of working nearby and getting a huge amazing meal here on a cold boring day. Love the oxtails, mac and cheese, and pumpkin soup. Food is always fresh fresh fresh. The people working here are so sweet and pleasant. A pleasure to come in.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem by accident on my way to get a coffee. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. I had oxtails with rice, peas and cabbage and I tell you, it was probably one of the best that I’ve had in NYC. Well priced with generous portions. Located right off of the north west corner of 10th Ave. and 57th St. this place is a must if you’re in Midtown and craving Caribbean food.!
