I used to come this store all the time . It’s been almost 2 years and I went back yesterday. It’s so different now especially the vibe of the store and staff. I used to enjoy going, browsing and buying. They don’t have nearly half the things they did before and I felt uncomfortable shopping. The young lady at the register was nice and when I saw another younger female on the floor I asked for help finding something because the men were acting weird, especially the bald one. I was shopping with my toddler and kept him in the stroller. The men were watching like hawks as if I was about to steal. I’ve never stolen in my life and never will. I’m a hard working and law abiding citizen. Offer help instead of hovering . They don’t need to be in business if that’s how they act. This store has gone down hill. It used to be a friendly and welcoming environment. It’s emptier and doesn’t even have the same color it used to . I’m just going to start going back to Micheal’s. At least the staff is more friendly.

I was there last week and the store looked fantastic. The new arrangement makes sense, much better flow and super selection of frames and products . The retail folks are great. Ramie, not sure if I spelled that correctly was very helpful. I am so glad that there is still a GREAT art supply shop nearby. Its is well worth a visit.

The best art supply store around!! Amazing amd extensive selection, but the best part is the staff. All of the people I’ve talked to really know their stuff and are happy to make recommendations 😊

A large selection of artist gear; mostly targeting teachers & students of tge arts. I did find the framing section suitable to photography. Helpful and friendly staff.

Rarely, rarely do I have to go through the trouble of returning art supplies but the one thing I did was here. Unused, brand new, a tear on the box that was there when I bought it makes it my responsibility and unreturnable. I have never flat out been told I can’t return or exchange a product except this one where I was told a brand new set couldn’t be sold as new. I hate wasting money especially on potentially expensive art products that I know I’ll never use. Everything is usually smooth and easy here with good products and helpful people but I’m not going to spend my money somewhere that isn’t going to honor something as simple as a return. I will go out of my way to buy stuff elsewhere just so I don’t have to deal with that potential headache in the future.

Nice selection of items. Check out seems to get slower with every visit. At some point while I waited several minutes there were 3 employees behind the counter, one eventually rang me up at his leisure. If the lady with the blue hair has time to follow me around the store perhaps she can make time to ring me up while she's at it.

I have been going to Jerry's for art supplies for my non profit art foundation - Changing Images for years. The people couldn't be nicer or more knowledgeable and the prices are perfect as we are a grass roots organization that paints with patients, residents, family and staff in hospitals, nursing homes, shelters and schools. We bring color and comfort to those facilities in need. Jerry's helps us do it without breaking the bank!

First time here and the staff is what impressed me the most. They were kind and bubbly. What threw me off was the prices. I’ve seen a lot of these items online for far lass and not stripped into strange packages.

I absolutely love this place and the people who work there are super friendly and always give great advice. I get ALL my framing done there and it always comes out GREAT.

I am writing to share my experience during my recent visit to your store, which left me feeling disappointed after 25 years of loyal patronage. As President and an instructor at the Morris County Art Association and other local museums, I have consistently recommended your store to my students and have made many purchases myself over the years. Unfortunately, during my visit, I was met with unnecessary skepticism about my credentials as an instructor, despite being found in your system and explaining my background. The staff member was dismissive and insisted I provide a paystub to prove my affiliation. Though she ultimately agreed to provide the instructor discount, she stated this would not be the case in the future, which felt both unkind and unwarranted. This experience stands in stark contrast to the warm, helpful service I've received in the past from staff like Allen, Samantha, and Jeremy, who have always gone above and beyond. I've valued Jerry's not just as a supply store but as a place where I felt part of a community. This recent interaction, however, made me feel disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. As someone who has sent countless students to your store and chosen to support local businesses over online alternatives, it's disheartening to feel unwelcome. I believe this situation could have been handled more professionally and kindly, and I hope sharing this feedback will encourage a reflection on customer service standards moving forward. I sincerely hope that Jerry's Artist Outlet can continue to serve as a valued resource for local artists in the future good art stores are a dying breed. A friend messaged me after being notified of my check in to tell me how much she loves Jerry's. Neither one of us lives in the area, so that was indeed a pleasant surprise. I loved strolling down the aisles to see what would inspire me even though I truly wanted to make a beeline directly to the pens, pens, pens. I took a deep inhale and reminded myself that there was no rush which was just enough of a pep talk needed for me to explore what else Jerry's had to offer. I picked up a couple of calendars that were the perfect balance of art yet practical. The colors were so vibrant and will definitely make the perfect gifts, if I am even able to part with them. Well I eventually made it over to the pens as they are closest to the register and exit. I decided on the LePen Flex 6 pc and Pilot's enso Brush Pen 3 pc which are ideal for calligraphy and hand lettering. I am..one word..delighted. All very solid purchases. Look forward to returning.

One of the few "serious" purveyors of art supplies in the area, this place has a monopoly and knows it. Recently I accompanied my partner on her quest to buy a particular kind of colored pencil. She found what she wanted, however at a cost of over $100 for 30 pencils. Pricey yes; but that wasn't the problem. The metal case was dented, the item was the last one, and we justifiably wanted to open the case to see if there was any internal damage. The manager said if we opened it, we had to buy it! Not only was this horrible customer service, but also made no sense. If the items were damaged, would you stick a customer with this product--and at an exorbitant price? His salesman related the information, as he wouldn't even come out of the back room to talk to us! So, lesson learned. If you want to shop for supplies at a place that gives a damn about people, avoid Jerry's at all costs.

This art supply place has everything needed. If you are a student there is an extra discount People are very helpful if you can't seem to find what you want . Not the least expensive but if you want it right away go to Jerry.

Prices are very high on most items even with discount! Staff is helpful and there is a good selection of some brands of acrylic and oil paints.

I've been a loyal customer for 15 years at Jerry's and have spent thousands of dollars and I have always received terrible customer service. A few years ago a colleague and I made a large in store purchase of about $5k. The owner and his wife Bonnie racially profiled us (we are African American) and when it came time to bring my 3 carts full of items to the register Bonnie told me she didn't believe I had the money to pay. I was outraged as someone who loves the inventory of the store and quality of the products/prices. Her staff was very rude to me except for one college aged girl and she made it a point to make me feel very uncomfortable. A few months later I do a facebook live on my personal account. I was friends with Bonnie at the time and she made a point to harass my art making abilities. Fast forward to today, May 14th 2020, I placed an order online through the Jerry's website with the option of "Express" shipping. For whatever reason my 5 order items was split up into 3 separate shipments and I patiently waited and was told to look out in the mail even though the shipment tracking numbers provided didn't work. I was shocked when I logged into the UPS Shipping site to see that my order had been delivered to Bloomfield, NJ when in fact my address was listed as (Newark, NJ) Coincidence? Not sure....but their online chat department was very rude and basically told me it wasn't there problem after I paid $226 and waited nearly two weeks for my "Express" shipment to come. I was upset and will no longer put up with their personal vendetta against me when I've been nothing but a loyal high spending client all of these years. The store owner's behavior was extremely petty to say the least. If you're a woman of color please go to Blick Art Materials instead. As much as I love the store, their lack customer service skills ruins anything worth wild about the shopping experience, for a store that serves the creative industry they seem to hate artists! Take your money elsewhere. The prices are not worth the headache at all! I am disappointed in this establishment and they need to do better.

Left my phone in the car. Recently went in and got my Bob Ross inspiration going. Staff is nice and friendly. Get all your art related supplies at this spot.

Very helpful staff with good inventory for selections. Ample parking. Also has catalogs for mailing.

Stopped in and the lady at the register was not wearing a mask, nor was I. Started to shop and a bald guy walked by and asked if I needed help and said I needed to put a mask on. I said, I'll shop elsewhere and left. GTFOH, you want me to wear a mask when the older gal employee at the front isn't. And there's no state mandate. Keep drinking the kool-aid, folks. I'll spent my $ elsewhere.

I come here to pick up all our art supplies and gifts for my kids and their friends. You can always find something great. Their framing team is also excellent, and have done some complex custom frame jobs for me and done them really well for a fair price. Highly recommend Jerry's!

Jerry's has a strict mask & glove policy for all their staff and customers; they are not shy about asking their customers to adhere to their policy. They provide gloves for their customers by the entrance. Often times, I find myself at Jerry's overwhelmed since I'm not an artist but often shop for one. I cannot begin to express how the majority of Jerry's employees are insanely helpful. They ask customers constantly if any help is needed, and when help is requested, they go over and beyond finding what people are looking for, or finding a suitable solution if Jerry's doesn't have something in stock. Art stores tend to be on the pricey side, but Jerry's tends to have competitive prices. Coupled with great service, the trip is always worth it.

They have everything, and then some! The prices are reasonable. the first time I went - back in early November- I couldn't get assistance, but this week a couple of people checked to see if I was finding what I needed. Inexperienced beginners like myself need all the help we can get, especially with such a wide selection of materials.

I have been a customer of Jerry's since 2019, before the pandemic started, and when they reopened after closing, they provided masks AND plastic gloves to customers entering the store. The rule was always in place. I was IN the store 9/3/21 and a woman came in without a mask (since she too couldn't read the sign on the front door that says "Masks Required") and was provided a mask. Jerry's provides a neighborhood feel with top notch professionalism (shout out to Rocco for excellent framing services!). Don't let a person who drives a "long distance" in an ongoing pandemic without a mask (?!) disparage you from supporting this great business because he couldn't be bothered to leave home without a mask (again) in an ongoing pandemic. That should tell you all you need to know.

Socially irresponsible! In this time of crisis, containing the spread of coronavirus should be top priority. Received email yesterday which said "We will file for a petition to allow you to be able to enter our store." I called the store to find out what was meant by this. They said , "We found out that we can't do that." I asked why they think they should have a special exemption given that they are not an essential service in this time of crisis. She said we provide supplies to people who are studying and I'm not going to get into a debate and hung up the phone. Given that they still are shipping and allowing front door pickup I can't see why they think allowing people into the stores is a good idea. Social distancing is crucial. I know every business is trying to stay afloat during this terrible time, but why do they think they're different, more deserving and special than any other retail business which is shut down and hurting right now? So disappointed in them and so thankful that they are not allowed to petition to let people enter their stores!

I wasn't allowed to enter the store without face mask. 9/01/2021. I asked since when they have this new rule and I was said since Monday (2 days ago). How I was supposed to onow about it comithere? At home I looked if it's a new state or federal law .. which is not. Guys, if you change the rules be ready that people can come without mask and be ready to provide masks for your customers who doesn't know anything about rules changes in your store. I spent 30 min to get there and 30 min back home. Such a waste of my time, instead of buying the stuff I needed if with new rules I was also provided with a mask. Next time I would come with my mask. I went last week and wore a mask and gloves. So did everyone else. Always 100% helpful. Always 1000% knowledgeable. Love this store. I moved to NJ and have this as my favorite art store! One of My favorite "candy" stores!

Received really bad & unprofessional customer service from a Jim Kyle who works there. Will not be coming back because of him unless management trains their employees with better people and professionalism skills.

I went to Jerrys to purchase ready made frames for a installation project. Upon checking out at the register, I specifically asked about their return policy, not knowing what sizes I would end up needing. The checkout girl told me that all the frames were returnable. There was one that had a red sticker, and I specifically asked if that would be returnable as well. She said yes-- and that the sticker just meant that it was on sale and that Jerrys had discontinued carrying it. Fast forward to today-- I didn't end up using that particular frame. I tried to return it, 2 days later with my receipt. The same checkout girl was there. I told her I had a return, she called her supervisor over. He curtly told me that the frame wasn't returnable, that the red sticker meant it was final sale. She stood there, silent, even when I said that's not what I had been told. Then I told the supervisor that wasn't what I had been told, and he told me I was wrong. It's just poor customer service. It doesn't look good that Jerry's doesn't train their staff well, or that their supervisors have a bad attitude. It doesn't make me want to go back and spend money there.

This is basically what you expect from a painting supply store, canvases, pencils, brushes. Framing, friendly staff Although i only spoke to one person, definitely not a busy place There's a parking lot. It's nice to know this place is here. I used to paint as a child. This is a great store with an incredible inventory. The employees are serious about their work and very knowledgeable. No matter how far out of left field my questions are, I always get an answer and if they don't know the answer, they go out of their way to find out. Another thing I like is that if I'm looking for a particular item that is either not in stock or not carried by them, they can usually offer me a substitute and, if necessary, explain the minor differences between what I'm looking for and what they show me. I often go into the store to buy something I need for a project I'm working on. Of course, I always see other things that I just have to have so I end up trying to balance a bunch of stuff in my hands. The minute a staff member sees me they always bring me either a basket or a cart. All in all Jerrys is my favorite store, bar none. The fact that they stayed open with curbside pick-up has really saved my life during the Covid19 Pandemic. Plus, they are offering free classes to keep us all sane. I am sooooo lucky to live in the same town as Jerry's.

I had specific requests about mold making materials, but the manager could not be bothered to be patient enough to listen to my questions. He was rude and spoke over me. I went there ready to order at least 5 gallons of silicone mold making material, and that is expensive. He not only talked me out of spending money there today, but for the rest of time.

I just left Jerry's with such a distaste in my mouth after spending $100. I'm waiting in line and Bonnie, instead of using her voice to alert us that we were next up, slams her hand on the desk twice to grab our attention which completely shocked my sister and I. Very unprofessional, she could have used her voice to alert us but instead slammed her hands down in a very rude way. I thought maybe she was unable to speak hence the unnecessary counter slapping so we didn't want to offend her, but told us our total. Bonnie does not have great customer service, not happy with my experience. She has grey hair.

Jerry's Artist Outlet is a great local art supply store. While other stores in the Essex Green Plaza have come and gone, Jerry's has been here for quite a long time. I would attribute that to it being a solid resource for artists in the area. They also offer framing services. It's easy to get here from 280 and, being in a shopping plaza, there is ample parking. If you can't schlep it to the city, Jerry's is a great option!

I accompanied my 85 year old elderly mother to Jerry's today where her only goal was in seeking direct assistance with the build out of purchased frames. Since purchasing, mom had returned once seeking assistance with this same issue. At that point, she was told she needed to purchase a particular tool (we found out today that information was incorrect) She returned today with the hope for a quick "how to". Unfortunately, Victor, the manager, was asked to assist us. Victor was rude, gruff and decidedly disinterested in having actual customer interaction much less care if his engagement skirts any form of professionalism. Although this is not the first time I have encountered less than average customer service at Jerry's, this is definitely the first time I have experienced such rudeness, particularly when your customer is an older individual. There isn't enough inventory and access that would convince me to return or to encourage others to shop there.

I've been shopping at Jerry's for about 15 years I guess, and yesterday's trip left me absolutely disappointed for the first time ever. The dark haired female cashier could not be bothered and answered queries with disdain and lack of effort. I asked for pricing on a fountain pen that was locked in a case and her response was a flat "I don't know, I'd have to open the case." Then she walked away without another word. The older gent seemed to be working double time to make up for her lack of customer service skills and went over to look for the key to show me the pen and scan for the price. I said I would take it, actually more to support the store during Covid and not waste the man's time since he was so nice, and asked for black ink cartridges. Again, the female cashier just could not be bothered, taking a lucite box out from under the register, putting it on front of me, and saying "it's gotta be one of these" without looking through the box. Enter nice older gent again, who dove into the box looking for ink, though he didn't know whether the fountain pen took cartridges or not. The girl would help him, she just shrugged, pulled out another lucite box, and told him to look through it and figure it out. Turns out they had none. The girl took the pen and rang it up, while I held out the rest of my purchases for her, she totaled just the pen, and finally looked up at me and my other items and said "oh, I didn't know you had more" and then rang those up. I took my bag, and asked if she had any idea when an order of ink might be coming in or stocked, she said "I don't know when it was ordered" shrugged, and looked away. Now, my total came to about $70. The fountain pen? A whopping $36 and they couldn't even give me the corresponding box for it - I got a Lamy Joy calligraphy pen box. I got home and looked online to try to get ink, annnnd found the exact pen (which comes with five ink cartridges btw)...for $16. SMH I could've skipped the crappy attitude and stayed home.

This place is great, lots of services and they're all very helpful. Wide selection of painting supplies, every size of easel, and crafts for kids. They also have many options of watercolor paper.

I love Jerry's. They have tons of supplies that you can't find in other stores. I go there whenever I need something for a homework assignment or just to do an independent project. Whenever I need help the staff is more than willing to help find items. And using my student discount on top of discounted prices is always a plus!

Jerry's manager, Victor, and the terrible customer service this place provides loses long term business. They are rude, unhelpful and condescending. Read their reviews. I was a customer for the past years and have spent several thousand of dollars there due to the close proximity to my art studio. Today was the last straw. I bought a storage cart which was missing pieces. I was told to bring it all back to the store with all the original packing. The "manager" Victor, was condescending, rude and acted as if he was doing me a big favor by offering a filthy display model for 20pct off the $60 price. He said "I'm not spending time cleaning it for $40.00. You're getting a bargain." Guess what? I went to Michael's and bought a better one for $30. Victor and owners: you've lost another customer. Jerry's is okay if you never need any customer service and/or returns. Otherwise, they are terrible with any kind of interaction (even questions!) Amazon, Blicks and Michael's from now on.

5 star service from Danielle and specially Peter. I went in to have two prints matted and framed. Danielle was very knowledgeable about the products and introduced me to Peter who was able to Matt and frame both prints in a few hours. Peter is an expert in his field and made my day. Thanks to both Danielle and Peter.

Jerry's Art Outlet was a little store I found once I started working at my current job. This place has everything you could possibly need. I figured this out when I found that they even had left handed pen nibs for calligraphy which generally don't exist in a sense that you'll never find them anywhere. Since then I've bought things from paints to inks. There prices are usually cheaper than any other place I've been to in the Morris country area unless someone is having a sale. If you need some supplies and are in the area or just want check out a pretty cool store it's worth the stop. The people there are really friendly.

Jerry's is a great local art supply store that offers a lot of supplies for your artistic needs at reasonable prices. My mom and I always come here because it's difficult to find a local art supply store that has a wide selection for artists, without having to go into NYC or going into an arts and crafts store like Michael's or A.C. Moore. Since Pearl Paint doesn't exist anymore, it's nice to know that the owner used to run a Pearl Paint and now currently runs Jerry's. It makes me feel nostalgic in a way. The staff is extremely helpful, willing to answer any of your questions and overall, assist you with your purchase. I can see where other reviewers felt like the staff tends to hover because I have had the same experience. Although I find this overbearing, I ultimately know they're doing their job and I can always find someone in close proximity to help me with whatever I may need.

This is the first time I'm leaving a review on Yelp, but I feel like a review isn't good enough to show how amazing Andrew was at Jerry's art store in West Orange. Me and my girlfriend came into the store prestressing thinking it would take us 3 hours to find everything on my watercolor's class supply list. All of a sudden, we're greeted by the cutest, friendliest face guy named Andrew. He takes my phone, looks at the list, and says "let's do this". Within 15 minutes we were at the register with the 20 item list completed. He answered every question I had, and I had such a good experience I wanted to tip him my life savings. THANK U ANDREW!! We LOVE YOU!! Never stop being the sunshine u are!!!!

Jerry's has been my go-to artist supply shop for as long as I can remember. They consistently have products below list prices (Copic markers have gone for $4 before) and frequently hold sales. It's a bit of a drive from where I live, but I've always seen it as worth the trip. As far as supplies themselves go they have a huge selection. Plaster casting to drawing, and everything in between. My mother has been into calligraphy since she was a high schooler and even she agrees that not only is Jerry's cheaper, but better quality than what she's used to seeing, and more welcoming than most craft stores. We've never had a problem or been off put by the staff before.

Was at a Homeschool Filmmaking Co-op in West Orange and needed some supplies. This shop was the closest art store and when I walked in... Kid in a candy shop I wanted everything and there's SO much to want here. The staff friendly and helpful. I found the prices to be cheaper here than other shops. Huge selection of paper products for all types of mediums, kids supplies, "singles" markers, colored pencils, caran d'ache neocolor II, and more, extensive selection of Liquitex and Golden... Just SO much I'll be back for sure and bringing my artist daughters.

Jerry's Artist Outlet is well-stocked with good prices, and the staff, though almost continuously sullen, seem knowledgeable and helpful for the most part. Then, if one frequents the place long enough, one discovers the reason for the gloomy demeanor of said employees--namely the owner (I think his name is Allen Shefts, but he never introduced himself to me, even when asked to do so; at this point, it's anyone's guess). I have been present while he has verbally abused staff. Yep, he's a real gem. Like most retail shoppers, I value selection and price, both of which seem fairly reliable at Jerry's, but I also value the ethics of owners and upper-management. Frankly, it is only when I ask the OWNER of Jerry's for anything that I receive atrociously bad service. Under normal circumstances, it's a good thing in retail for the owner to be 'hands-on,' but, unfortunately, the owner of Jerry's is often encountered on the sales floor. I am very brief and to-the-point when speaking, yet the man has many times simply turned his back and walked away while I was still pronouncing a word. A quick spin over to GlassDoor.com reveals to source of the trouble--Mr. Owner himself. This is unfortunate, because north Jersey needs a place like Jerry's. I would not like to feel that I must trek into the City to visit Kremer Pigments and Blick for everything I need, but at this point, I don't feel comfortable giving my hard-earned dollars to an abusive owner.

The staff here is great. They are always very helpful and knowledgeable about supplies. One even let me try something out (basically play with some new art supplies) in case I liked that better than what I was contemplating buying. 100% support this store and prices are reasonable also. Consider yourself lucky because stores like Jerry's are hard to find.

Great, AUTHENTIC artist supply store. There is a new area for framing I had not seen previously. Every matte you could want. Smells nostalgic with all the quality, selection and decent price you might imagine. Discount for Art Students. The staff is friendly (N.J. friendly; no smiling, hurry up & get the hell out of here, if you can get it cheaper, there is the door, bunch), knowledgeable & will lead you right to what you are looking for. Parking is easy with a local Panera Bread & Cold Stone Creamery a few stores down. Make a day of it, it is worth the trip!

I always try to support local businesses, so i was happy to see an art supply store open in my area . I have been an illustrator for over 20 years and usually have to take a ride to Pearl, Utrecht or Dickblick. After checking out this overpriced local art supply store i will never go back. I was immediately profiled by the owner (aaron) who proceeded to harrass me & my son. I'm not easily offended but this guy really ruined my day:( I will continue to do business elsewhere before I give this buttnut a penny.

Count your Change. Made a small purchase today for $6.91. Gave the young lady a $20 bill. She gave back $3.09............ I thought is was $13.09 because I trust them, do a lot of business there and had no reason to suspect errors or anything foul. So,,,,,,,I just folded the money with my receipt, put it in my pocket and left. When I got home, unloaded my items, emptied my pockets and saw the error. Called the store, spoke to Nancy (office manager), explained what happened, gave her the information from the receipt and told her there should be a $10 overage at the end of the day for that cash register. She immediately responded by conducting a reconcilement of the register. She called back and stated that the register reconciled to the penny. I told her I would accept the lost. But I gotta tell ya,,,,,,,,something's foul there, something's not right. COUNT YOUR CHANGE OR CHARGE YOUR PURCHASES.........I GOTTA FEELING THIS MIGHT BE PATTERN HERE. I will continue to shop there but,,,,,, with caution and deep reservations. Update to previous review: Got a call today (1/11/19) from Nancy. She informed me that the cash register for that day was over $10 and no one told her about..........GO FIGURE." How can that be when she conducted a reconcilement of the register just an hour after the transaction and stated that she reconciled to THE PENNY. Anyway,,,,,,,,,, no problem,,,,,,,, nothing's changed. I'm still a customer and just love the place. Will charge all purchases from here on. YOU DO THE SAME.

Jerry's Art Outlet is great for framing. It is not the cheapest option, but a good value considering the fine materials and service offered. Framing can be a tricky thing to get right and their staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to materials and good aesthetic. I have had about 10 items custom framed and thanks to the great ideas from Jerry's highly competent staff, they all look great (and are well preserved. I even had Jerry's frame a "priceless" needlepoint crewel work that my mother did more than 35 years ago. It needed to be re-blocked and "spiffed" up to renew it for my infant daughter's room. It came out beautifully.

I drive from Peapack to this gem for true art supplies at amazing prices. Shelves are well stocked, employees are friendly and knowledgeable. This is not a craft store, it is a true artists haven. Don't come here to browse, you'll want to plunk down some serious change. 5 stars!

Whoever Jerry is, he knew what he was doing. His staff is extremely knowledgeable and excessively helpful. If you walk in with a list for school, hand it to a staff member and they will fill your basket in five minutes with all you need. They also know pretty much everything when it comes to art supplies - if you need something they don't have, they will tell you how they can get it. As with any good art supply staff, it is entirely possible that they all make fun of first time art buyers or out-of-place, half-lost art seekers after you leave, but that's how it goes and they will be very friendly to your face. The store is full, but organized very well. Even if you are too shy to ask for help, you won't be walking around forever to find what you need.* Jerry has stocked his artist outlet with a plethora of paper options, writing utensils and virtually everything else you need. There is absolutely no place like this in the near vicinity so say thanks to Jerry when you need art supplies and go visit him. _________________ *Unless you are inept at finding stuff. As art supply stores go, Jerry's is one of the best. To address a few of the other previous review comments: All art stores are overpriced, offline and online alike. Art supplies are just expensive. Jerry's prices are on par with the industry. In some cases I think they are actually cheaper. The staff do hover over customers. Sometimes it comes across as just a bit too much of the "Can I help you find something," variety of hovering, but occasionally it does feel like they're keeping a close eye on everyone. But if you're not opening boxes or stealing stuff, it shouldn't be a bother. Overall I think Jerry's is the best in the area, prices are fair-to-good, and while the staff does hover they seem friendly too.

Very well stocked, very attentive, great prices and good atmosphere, and heck- I don't even look for atmosphere in my art supply store :) Good range of items from novice/student/grade school- all the way up to professional artists. Very responsive if out of stock on something, and the staff can either answer your questions or find someone who can.

Yup, this place is a winner. Really knowledgeable staff helped us frame our marriage certificate (Ketubah) and it was perfect! We had detailed attention to a very meaningful document that needed expert matting and framing. We could not have been happier with the job that was done, the quality of the work, and the speed at which this framing was completed. I would recommend them to anyone, even the most demanding and particular of clientele. The place is well stocked with art supplies, so if that's what you need-you should find anything there! Located in essex Green Shopping Center, parking is no problem.
