Apparently the mental health month is still going strong in August...the lgbtq123rt56 fascade goes to show it 🤢🤮 On the other hand the staff is amazing!! I was surprised to see how nice & clean it is inside, hopefully they renovate the facade & the surrounding landscape to make it look complete.

They have a new side entrance that was very convenient for accessing the Voting machines and newly renovated bathrooms. Thanks to Mayor Steven Fulop

Mayor Fulop, I love how you are paving the way for Jersey City to be part of NYC as it was in the past , also a New England Colony . Jersey City is a non producing city and the only thing it's been producing its hate and more hate every day . There's no safety for anyone anymore . You need to work on that area. Perhaps raise all public assistance benefits to the maximum level . That way tax payers like myself won't be hate on for been successful and to want to work more . Good luck with the Education System . History Comes back again !

A bunch of thugs work here. Don’t exercise your 1st amendment or you will be threatened with violence. I’m glad they been exposed on YouTube.

Security guards will put their hands-on you and push you out of places they don't think you should be in. Public servants that work in certain offices will curse you out and threaten your life if you start recording.

Raising the flag of France 🇫🇷 in the Bastille Day is an important and awesome activity because it is about honoring the history of the diversity of the community of Jersey City! However, it needed more advertisements and participants; also a little more formality from our community leader. Other than the children made the highlight of the day with great participation and hopefully unforgettable memories.

Thank you Councilman Solomon and to your team, I cant thank you enough for the prompt response and action you've taken for my issue I reported. This is truly repairing my views on a public figure actually working for the people.

Have been here for meetings. Can park in the back after 5 for free. Got in fast, had security. Not much to say.

I love this part of Jersey City. It's old and historic and just grand. Love the double stairwells when you step inside and the spacious layout.

I can't say we actually went into City Hall but the plaza hosted the fun event Project Eats. A combination of food stalls and vendors, each one different, this was a great way to experience some of the local cuisine. Portions are on the smaller size for the most part for the price, and naturally options were fewer for non meat eaters. That and the boiling sun convinced us to eat indoors and return later for dessert. We did come back and lines were long so we headed to Cocoa Bakery, which I thought was also at the festival. There was entertainment but seating was limited for eating, unless you don't mind the steps of City Hall. Project Eats reminds me of Smorgasburg, but smaller in scale. As in the Burg, you will shell out a few $$ to get full.

This is probably the worst Clerks Office in the country. I needed an amendment for my Marriage License. The lady I dealt with should not be working in customer service.. Rude is not the word.. this lady jumped on my neck from the beginning ( on the phone) when I showed up to the office it was even worst, (how are you working for the city and you're the aggressor)I was told to file the amendment in Jersey city, I came in, showed the proof I needed to show.. just to find out 3 months later nothing had been done.. no proof if my paperwork was filed, nothing... and the aggressive behavior continued with another clerk who would not even let me get a word in or answer any of my questions. How are you working for the city and you're this rude. What I've experienced with the folks of Jersey city Clerks office no one should experience. That level of unprofessionalism is not acceptable.

Cute little festival with lots of food from local restaurants in the area. Some local places had samples which was nice to try. There were also vintage clothes, lamps, variety of soaps, hot sauce, mugs, etc.. Some areas were opened in the cold but others were covered by tents.

So very upset at the experience I just had at the Office of City Clerk. I went to apply for a marriage license and the woman was just awful. Applying for a license is an exciting thing for couples, and while I understand the clerks do this everyday, I would expect them to at least not be outwardly rude. We provided all the necessary information, the woman filled out the form and had us check it. We noticed 4 errors, 3 with our address and 1 with my fiancé's father's name. We nicely pointed it out and she made the changes. When we reviewed a second time, we noticed the mailing address was still wrong. After pointing it out, she point blank refused to update it. I expressed my concerns and she said it didn't matter and she was not going to change it. Taken aback, and feeling at the liberty of her, I dropped this issue and stood there in shock. After 30 seconds she rudely said "Well, I'm sitting here waiting for you to sign it". At which point, I expressed that she didn't tell us we had to sign it and being that this is our first time apply for a marriage license we didn't know the process. She quickly read the statement for us to attest to, after which my cousin (who was our witness) realized she forgot to take our picture signing the form (silly, maybe, but again we were excited!). She asked if we could quick take a picture, at which point the woman ripped the form from under our hands immediately before the picture could be taken. She passed us our receipt, and before we left we asked when we could come pick up the license. Again, she rudely said "I already told you, it's on the back of the receipt", and just walked away! We tried not to let her attitude and horrible customer service run the morning, but I really don't understand how she should be allowed to work at that job. We had nothing but smiles and laughter while in the office and kept our patience and politeness in check, even when she showed us none.

There's always going on outside city hall. They usually block off the street when they have festivals here. There is always plenty of options for food and drinks. In terms of what is actually inside city hall? The city clerk office is where you would go to apply for your marriage license. If you are looking for the county clerk, it is not here. You need to go to the 257 Cornelison Ave.

This was so much fun!!! Tried pretty much everything and now I can't breathe! Thank you jersey city for such and interesting way to spend my Saturday. will def catch next years.
