The building looks beautiful from the outside but inside is another story. You have no option but to use the lift to get to the 1st floor as the door to the stairs is locked shut, and the 1st floor landing has no window so it is very stuffy and airless. Room 101 is very dated, no air con and in July/August you can't open the windows unless you want to be eaten alive by mosquitoes, so it was unbearably warm at night. Dirty marks on the walls and curtains that look like previous guests have squashed mosquitoes on them. The toilet wasn't fixed to the wall properly and made an awful noise every time you sat on it. The towels smelt musty. The bottom sheet wasn't big enough for the bed and kept coming off in the night. Also the radiator is hanging off the wall, when we informed reception we were told that it had been like that for 3 years! The breakfast was not nice at all, lukewarm coffee and scrambled eggs that looked like had been made and put in the warmer the week before. The fried eggs were like rubber and you could snap the pancakes they were so hard. The only positives were the hotel's location and the two young ladies that work in the restaurant in the evenings were very pleasant.

Having researched hotels within our budget in Gdansk, we were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel, which is located very close to the Marina and a short walk into the old town via a footbridge (see note below).|The hotel is split between two locations, with an annex with just bedrooms a short walk across the car park. We were located in the annex. There are no facilities within the annex, this is something you are made aware of by email before arriving by the hotel staff. It was no concern to us, but I could imagine some people would prefer to be in the main hotel and therefore it is worth stressing this at the time of booking.|The bedrooms are adequate and the bathrooms well appointed and very clean.|Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant which is an Asian fusion venue during the evening. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from the buffet. |The hotel receptionist called Marila was very helpful. They have an area to leave bags if you arrive before the 3pm check in and they were very helpful throughout our stay. |The location is close to the waterfront. There is a large modern footbridge which is close by and enables you to walk into the old town quicker than the route around the Marina. However, the bridge opens up for boats on the hour, each hour during the day, and is up for 30 mins. So time your departure from the hotel to coincide with the 30 mins when the bridge is down and is a footbridge!|If you want a medium budget hotel with a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed, with a good breakfast then this is recommended. If you want somewhere with an atmosphere and a bar, perhaps look elsewhere. It was perfect for us.

Lovely old building this hotel is in. Great location to Old Town..right on the river which is a very busy environment..plenty of places to eat/drink and mini markets all around.|The room isn't overly big..does have tea/,coffee facilities and bar fridge. Showing its age but kept clean.|Breakfast was lovely and enough choices but no toaster.||Staff were lovely.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend. Breakfast was good and the location is perfect, but it was the smallest double room I’ve ever seen… it was hard moving around in, even just one person at a time.

Nice location, near the old city. Clean rooms but not so good ventilation in there. Ok breakfast. Nice and friendly cleaning staff. Reception staff nice.

The view was great but the staff communication was bad and not professional. We are a couple which get up early and don’t eat breakfast, we drink always a coffee first. We request to buy a coffee on the morning and they asked if we had breakfast included, i said that we don’t have and don’t it breakfast but we would like to buy coffee. The worker replied that he will ask his friends (not his colleagues) and then come back and said me that we can’t have or buy coffee if we don’t breakfast. We had never heard before and i try to explain that was not normal that we are guests in this hotel with a price 100€/night but we can not buy coffees if we don’t have paid for breakfast. Then come another worker and started to speak loudly and angry that we can not buy coffees. It was 7-7:30 o’clock in the morning and we were there for holiday. Than we need to walk for 20min to find a bar coffee. If you don’t eat breakfast but you want to drink coffee in the morning, don’t suggest to go there

Absolutely horrendous. Checked into our room just to find it riddled with bugs everywhere, on the bed, in the bathroom, crawling on the walls. Told reception, the lady just shrugged and said they had no other rooms, so we asked for a refund and a cab to our new hotel that wr had to book. Refund is still pending, and they refused to comp us the cab. Also, the reception had its own little fly swarm overhead, absolutely disgusting place.
